I don't get acrylics very often - in fact, I only get them for a special occasion, and those don't happen enough. I have an event to go to and tried get acrylics with a special design, but from a competing salon. Anyhow, the end result wasn't as favorable as I had wanted and went to Global Nails for a fill, which was a great improvement. Tina was able to help me out this morning (I phoned ahead), by erasing the bad designs I had and evened out my nails. I was out of there in under an hour. Tina was kind and works very efficiently. Sad, owner is usually kind. My last experience however, was AWFUL!!! I was yelled at by a woman that I had to ask to cease my service because she was not understanding what I was excited to get and ultimately EXTREMELY unhappy. Cuticles not trimmed at all, filed down my actual nails to the point where it almost hurt because they kept coming out "uneven" when she could have just buffed. Plain out Horrible service. After explaining what I was looking for the tech told me to go back to whatever last place I went to! I had gone somewhere while I was out of town. The owner witnessed her worker getting flat out aggressive toward me and mouthed a "sorry". That was all I received.. very unfortunate considering I've been a returning customer for years. read more

First time here, walked over from my apartment and said I wanted a gel manicure and a pedicure, not a gel pedicure but apparently I was misunderstood because a gel manicure and pedicure were given and now I'm being charged $70 so needless to say I'm pissed off. It took two hours and fifteen minutes, the ladies other ladies were joking that she needed to give me a pillow and a blanket. She did a great job but I think $70 is outrageous. We recently relocated to Arizona. Went here to get me and my mom pedicures. They were not very friendly. No conversation at all, mid way through my pedicure I asked my lady her name. I mentioned we were new to the area and were looking for a new nail place. You would think they would want to win our business, no! They asked where we came from and then silence again. They only put one coat of polish! My lady just got up and left when I guess she was done, she literally left, walked out the door! When we were done my moms lady said that's $25 each. I paid her and no "thank you" no "hope you come back" NOTHING!! The kicker is my polish chipped the next day!!! DON'T GO HERE!!! read more

Oh man I was sooo happy to think I'd finally found a good place after moving from the big city, but.... There are problems. Don't get me wrong- they do nice work, but I won't be back. This is why- I went in for my second time after getting gel nails for my wedding. The lady put used cotton balls on my nails. First red flag. The cotton balls already had someone else's nail poish in them. Second red flag: cuticle trimmers are supposed to be sterile since they are cutting into your skin, and at times get bodily fluids/ blood on them. The woman who was trimming my cuticles set the instrument on a pile of other instruments that did not appear to be sanitized and continued with my hands. How could I tell? Well- the debris on the tray mixed with other color nail polishes that had been scraped off other people- and this was first thing in the morning. I saw the woman walk in the door at 9 so I know damn well the place wasn't even cleaned the night before. YUCK! Last issue? Well my thumb messed up before I was even out of the parking lot. No, I did not nick it. It was dull and looked like the finish was not applied, or had not set. I had other errands to do so was not able to come back in for several hours. The place was busy, because yea- tomorrows Thanksgiving and the lady was rude. She told me I didn't put my thumb in the solar machine. I'm thinking, "my whole dang hand was in there. How could my thumb just be out?" I've been getting gel manicures for nearly a decade, so I'm well aware of how things work. I put my hand in after she fixed it, and asked her if I had my hand in there right. She didn't answer so I asked again. She said, "well you didn't believe me that you messed it up, so..." and shrugged. It literally took 15 seconds to fix, and an attitude was completely unnecessary- especially since I was the one who had to drive back up there and get it fixed again and take time from my day. I'll spend my money elsewhere and forgoe any problens caused by their nasty environment and attitudes. read more

I came in as a walk in to get fills and fix a nail I had broken. Everyone was very polite and greeted me as walked in, I didn't have to wait longer than a minute to be seated and get started. They had a good variety of gel polish to select from. The only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that my technician left the acrylic bulky and I asked if she could change my square shaped nail into an almond shape or balerena/ coffin shape, she attempted to but was unsuccessful in doing so. read more

Stopped in this salon when I was on vacation. This was by far the worst manicure/ pedicure I have ever received. The place was filthy with a 1/2" of dust behind the massage chairs. However, the most disturbing is that they don't sanitizer the pedicure foot bath after each customer. My toe became infected after the first day. The polish job was very sloppy. It was streaked, contained a brush hair and wore off the tip by day three. It has been one week and I am back home at my regular salon getting everything remedied. read more

I've came here several times and I have some good experiences but more negative experiences. I brought my wedding party here almost a year ago now and we were all treated poorly. I thought maybe it was just me due to the stress of it all..fast forward to giving them another chance a few weeks ago. The owner pushed the dip nails on my daughter and I.. ok we tried them. Not bad but nothing exciting either. So it was time for a fill for us both just 2 days ago. It took almost 40 minutes to soak them off and another hour and 20 minutes to reapply an entire new set of the dip nails. None of which was explained originally. Well my daughter gets in the shower and her new set of nails literally bubble like acid made contact with them.. I called first thing Monday morning and was told to come in then to get them fixed. Well we can't exactly do that because I work and she has school. They said they would close early due to lack of appointments so I would have to come Tuesday. So we are currently here and they all are acting so surprised that this happened and oh by the way can we stop half way through fixing this mess we created to do someone else's nails because their appointment was before yours. So after spending 2 hours 2 days ago here we will again spend another 2 hours here tonight at least. So I asked while I'm here waiting I'd like my toes painted.. not a pedicure..just painted.. that will be $25.00.. ummm no I don't think so.. I will take my money elsewhere. What doesn't deserve a 5 star review about this place??? My acrylic nails lasted an entire month without chipping or lifting!! This is unheard of. I tend to follow my manicurist when they change shops and this is where she ended up I love Amanda but she has since moved to Scottsdale so I took her advise and am now using Tina so far so good pricing is competitive to the area and I know they are accommodating with my requests and have seen them cleaning the shop as I have often been the last one in there because of my schedule. Only 4 stars cause they couldn't stop Amanda from moving. Also love Lin very good nail tech. Oh did I forget to mention that I did have a license so I can be very critical and picky I just don't like nor have the time to do my own nails. read more

I frequent this place since it is so close to my house and a good price for a pedi. Have I had better pedis before? Yes, but really I go for the massage and so far so good there! I love when they take their time to truly give a nice foot and calf massage. I think so far in terms of pedicures, the manicurists are very good at shaping, but not so much the painting. Mine seem to chip faster than when I go get other pedicures and they also don't paint as close to the cuticle as some other ones I have been to. The salon is nice and clean and the staff is a lot nicer than most salons. I have gotten a shallac manicure there too and the prices and technique were good. She was very detail and patient. Didn't rush at all. It only took an hour to fill my nails and complete the fill. And they look amazing! I felt like the nail artist did a very thorough job - I was there a good 40 minutes having my feet/toes worked on. My favorite was the quite lengthy leg/foot massage. Magical! They get 4 stars instead of 5 because the nail color selection is pretty limited and I'd also wanted to get my brows waxed but apparently the brow person was out of town. Kind of disappointing. I have been to this place several times before and I've always had a great experience. I had my parents start going and they didn't like it but I still like them. I came in today for pedicure and nail polish and asked if I could get a manicure instead and she said yes. I finished my pedicure and asked where to go for my manicure and she said that I said no to Manicure. So I just had to leave. I'm having surgery to take my kidney out due to a kidney Mass that is cancer and I don't know when I'll be able to go back to get my nails done. This was supposed to be a nice relaxing day for me and it turned out horrible. I will not be going back and we'll find somewhere else. read more
