When the contractors were done with the remodel, the floors & tubs in both bathrooms were looking pretty rough... our next-door neighbors gave us an outstanding recommendation to call Ken... so we did! Best decision ever. Re-glazing was the plan. Ken came and took a look and advised to "refurbish" (if you will) the tubs and floors vs. re-glazing. We did and they look OUTSTANDING! They truly turned out beautifully! Ken and his assistant Scott were so kind and respectful. I met them at the house the first day, let them know we have a no-shoes rule (as we just refinished the hardwood floors)... they were very polite and complied with my request. I can't review the work quality. But I thought a heads up may be appropriate in case this happens again. Sometimes it is hard to find a good fit. Our family member utilized services for a flooding issue at his residence. While items were stored in a Serv Pro facility to remodel the basement from flooding, their facility caught fire damaging the contents/furniture of the home. Items were returned with smoke damage and asked to be removed. To date (over a year later), Serv Pro has yet to provide an inventory list of the smoke damaged items they had taken out of the home, how insurance costs were determined in light of not having an inventory list and multiple unanswered questions. Not to mention leadership lacks professionalism and runs a business with unethical business practices. After escalations to Serv Pro leadership, they also failed to resolve and engage. Let this be your warning to take your business elsewhere. Have never experienced a company take advantage of the consumer in their time of hardship. Shame on you Serv Pro... 1/31/24 Update...thank you Dan Thorman for the response. When we attempted to resolve the issue with you directly, you "owned" our case under Thorman Enterprises despite it being bought out. Our family did escalate to the new leadership to include Brooke Fritchen (General Manager) and Matt Marchese . We were told Thorman Enterprises owned the claims. So which is it?? Regardless Thomean Enterprises, Brooke Fritchen, Matt Marchese, Serv Pro failed to resolve. My family and I moved into our home over a month ago and we haven't been able to use our dryer…read moresince then because the vent was clogged or broken or something. Raytown Chimney came out and went above and beyond to find out what was wrong with the dryer vent. After about 3 hours, Bobby had it all cleaned out, fixed, and ready to go for us to use our dryer again!! He is a really nice guy and very professional. I have 3 very young girls and he was super sweet to them and even let my 4 year old follow him around and help out while he was here! We are very thankful for him and her services!!
