Ace Fab & Welding was recommended to us. We contacted Josh to see what kind of options there were to install railing around our porch. We had no idea there were so many options! Measurements were taken and we were given an estimate of how far out they were. As it turned out, Josh nailed that estimate. We were quite excited to get the railing up. Maurice, Brady & Lucas came to install the railing. We found them to be very friendly and highly competent. We watched the installation as they made sure everything fit perfectly. They made sure some things were aligned that we likely would not have thought of had we tried to DIY. Unfortunately, the gate didn't fit properly and would need to be modified. We had some architectural areas (columns) that were tricky. So the gate went back for modification. We weren't bothered by this because sometimes these things just happen. We were more concerned about how well it was resolved. Not too much later, Tim (Master Welder) and Blake (unknown title) came by. Once again, like the crew before them, they were friendly and very competent. We were excited that the person welding it was seeing the site in person! There were discussions as to how we wanted the gate to open and exactly where we wanted it placed on the columns. The gate went back for further modification. It wasn't too much longer before Tim & Blake returned to make sure it would fit properly before the gate modification was completed. .After the gate was completed, Maurice, Brady & Lucas returned to install it. Again, they took care to make sure everything was just perfect. Our railing was not a huge job by any means. But it was treated as if it was a really important job nonetheless. We are really happy with how the railing was installed and the appearance of it. The manufacture of the custom railing is top-notch. The employees we met were all the type of people that a company would want to represent their business to the public. We are happy with every aspect of the project and very happy we did NOT try to DIY it because we thought it wouldn't be that complicated. Thank you Ace for a job well done!

I hired Sias W. Parsons IV, Derek Parker, and Ryan Riggs from Big Yeti Builders LLC in Ogden, Utah,…read moreto demolish an existing deck, construct a new deck, and install a Renaissance Classico cover over a portion of it. The cover has leaked since shortly after installation, causing water to pool on the deck and creating a slipping hazard from ice buildup. I first contacted the company for warranty support after the initial leak in the fall of 2025. Derek Parker came out and retaped the seams on the awning, stating that this was the repair method recommended by the manufacturer, Renaissance. After the first snow in early December and then thaw, the awning began leaking severely. On December 4, 2025, I reached out again and left multiple voicemail messages and emails requesting assistance but received no return communication. On December 18, 2025, after I sent an email, the company finally acknowledged my concerns via email, took responsibility for the lack of communication, and promised to schedule warranty work. However, as of January 19, 2026, no further action nor communication has taken place. Because the office phone is not answered and voicemail messages are not returned, I requested via email that someone come out between January 9 and January 16, 2026, to at least document the situation including written notes, photos, and a detailed description of the problem and to confirm next steps for repair since we understand it may be a challenge to repair in the winter time. That request has gone unanswered. In my experience, Big Yeti Builders and its representatives have not followed through on their stated commitments regarding warranty service. Communication with the office manager, Kim Crandall, when she does answer the phone, has also not resulted in any confirmed action or resolution. As of January 19, 2026, their contractor license (#10687874-5501) expired. This review is based solely on my personal experience with this company. I recommend that prospective customers ensure they receive clear written documentation of warranty terms, follow-up procedures, and payment schedules before hiring.

When we decided to use these guys he came back on a Saturday to do our contract. He stuck to the estimate he gave us and gave us exactly what we wanted. He even took the time to discuss how the deck should be rebuilt so that it will last longer. They came out on a Tuesday and started in. Torn down the old deck, cleaned up the area, then stared in on the new deck. By the end of the day most of the new deck was done. The next day was finishing up the trim and installing the railing. Again, once it was done they did a great job cleaning up the area. Saving this company's business card for other work I need done in the future. They are worth it.

When the job is in South Jordan & I have to drive clear to Salt Lake City because they kept messing up was infuriating, along with waiting HOURS every time I came on top of them knowing I was on my way also extremely upsetting. I was told the gate was done on Tues @ 3:00 and wasn't done until 10:30 the next morning. Made 2 trips there. The owners son although very nice is so uneducated about his job and that's humiliating. Now I can get over all those things but when I initially went there to pay upfront for the fence I was building my customer, the kid ran my VISA CARD 9 times and charged my acct over $15,000!!!!! And obviously it was put on hold and froze my business acct for 4 days, it was a complete MESS!!! you can be your own judge but take it from me it is NOT the place to go for a fence.... I didn't think I would have to take a day off of work to tell the foreman how to build a fence and use a tape measure, they laid out the fence panels, extremely inconsistent when simple math could have made all the panels uniform and equal.. after I seen how they laid out the fence post I asked them why I had two short panels in the most obvious visual place. He said he would have to replace 6 of the 10 posts to have them consistent. so I replied that if the foremanwould've used a tape measuring and. simple map he could've done it the first time if you only had to replace six of the 10 posts.. His reply was well did you talk to the foreman? I said no but I had Allie , my sales person come to my house three days prior to installation and I literally showed her a painted line where all the fence post should go. And she flat out lied and didn't talk about fence post location. I literally a picture of the painted lines and markings that was one minute after she had left. The last straw is when they left the bottom panel 3 inches higher than the matching fence. It was supposed to be built to. Leaving me a huge gap under my fence. Worst experience I've ever had dealing with a company. my neighbor also had the same fence on her backyard and paid for the fancy top fence as well, where they're supposed to bevel the top and cut a design in the fence posts 3 inches above the top rail, and they literally just whacked it flat 1 inch above the rail. And their solution was that we'll just buy you some ornamental tops to put on it. Unprofessional, no accountability for their mistakes, poor communication. absolute horrible company to deal with. Do yourself a favor and talk to a different company.

Buyer beware. This…read morecompany doesn't just have poor customer service--they appear to retaliate against customers who leave honest negative reviews. We spent nearly $9,000 on a patio cover after explaining that durability was extremely important because we have large dogs. Nobody bothered to tell us the support posts were thin aluminum that dent incredibly easily. Nobody bothered to tell us the gutter opening was so small that it's nearly impossible to clean and is lined with sharp metal edges. When we first reported these issues years ago, we were essentially told, "Too bad." One owner even admitted the gutter design had been a known flaw for over 20 years. Twenty years. Yet they continue selling it without disclosing the issue to customers beforehand. Fast forward to this year. The gutter is still impossible to clean. Leaf blower? Doesn't work. Hose? Doesn't work. Pressure washer? Doesn't work. The only way to remove debris is by reaching into the tiny opening with your hands, which has resulted in my husband cutting himself multiple times on the sharp metal. Two months ago we called because the patio cover was still under warranty. We were told a work order would be submitted and someone would contact us. Nobody ever did. So today we called again. The first employee agreed that our gutter didn't sound right and told us it should have around 3 to 4 inches of clearance. He said he'd submit another work order. Less than ten minutes later, my husband got a call from management. Not to schedule the repair. Not to apologize. Not to honor the warranty. Instead, he was told they would NOT service our patio cover because I left an honest negative Google review years ago. Think about that for a second. Their response wasn't, "Let's make this right." It was, "You criticized us, so we're refusing to help you." That tells you everything you need to know about this company's integrity. They had multiple opportunities over the years to fix this issue, earn back our trust, and prove they stand behind their work. Instead, they chose pettiness over professionalism. A good company isn't defined by never making mistakes. It's defined by how it handles them. Kool Breeze has repeatedly shown that once they have your money, accountability goes out the window. Spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of contractors who actually stand behind their work instead of punishing customers for telling the truth.

The real highlight of our experience was our salesman, Bret. Even though another company offered a slightly lower price, we chose Bronco strictly because of Bret's outstanding service and professionalism. The installation team also did great work once on-site. Unfortunately, the office customer service left a lot to be desired. There were huge gaps of time where no work was happening, leaving our entire yard completely open and exposed to a busy, high-traffic street. When we called the office for updates, the person answering seemed annoyed by our calls. We requested to speak with a manager multiple times, but were always told they were unavailable and we never received a single callback. The only way we got any updates on the project duration was by reaching out to Bret directly, who continuously went out of his way to help us. It turned out there was a fabrication delay with our gates--which we completely understand--but no one from the office bothered to tell us until Bret stepped in. On top of that, we were promised a temporary fence so our dogs could safely use the yard during construction. Despite raising this several times, it was never delivered. As a result, our dogs were unable to use the yard for nearly a month and a half out of constant fear they'd escape into traffic. While we love the final quality of the fence and would give Bret 5 stars on his own, the headache with office communication and broken promises makes it hard to fully recommend Bronco.

I discussed the cost of a fence and availability and was provided an invoice from Bronco Fence. I paid the invoiced amounts for parts and labor in advance of inspection, as I was out of town. (Without extreme details here, I will state that I supplied them with all the documentation of their invoice and proof of payment.) Upon Inspection when I returned, the vinyl fence was very poorly installed and unstable. The employee I worked with was no longer with the company. I reached out to have Bronco fence correct the problem and for over a month and a 1/2 of weekly, bi-weekly calls, I have been put off . The owner told the staff he wanted to see my fence but has been too busy to even put me on his schedule or talk to me. They say they will call me back with a date on his schedule and they don't call me back.
