Love the final Trex fence & Bret was great, but communication was poor. We had a Trex fence installed starting back in April, and while the finished product itself is great, the overall process was very frustrating. The real highlight of our experience was our salesman, Bret. Even though another company offered a slightly lower price, we chose Bronco strictly because of Bret's outstanding service and professionalism. The installation team also did great work once on-site. Unfortunately, the office customer service left a lot to be desired. There were huge gaps of time where no work was happening, leaving our entire yard completely open and exposed to a busy, high-traffic street. When we called the office for updates, the person answering seemed annoyed by our calls. We requested to speak with a manager multiple times, but were always told they were unavailable and we never received a single callback. The only way we got any updates on the project duration was by reaching out to Bret directly, who continuously went out of his way to help us. It turned out there was a fabrication delay with our gates--which we completely understand--but no one from the office bothered to tell us until Bret stepped in. On top of that, we were promised a temporary fence so our dogs could safely use the yard during construction. Despite raising this several times, it was never delivered. As a result, our dogs were unable to use the yard for nearly a month and a half out of constant fear they'd escape into traffic. While we love the final quality of the fence and would give Bret 5 stars on his own, the headache with office communication and broken promises makes it hard to fully recommend Bronco. read more

Beware: they don't back their work and they ignore you if there is a problem with the install. Don't use this company! Wish I had read the other reviews before using them. I discussed the cost of a fence and availability and was provided an invoice from Bronco Fence. I paid the invoiced amounts for parts and labor in advance of inspection, as I was out of town. (Without extreme details here, I will state that I supplied them with all the documentation of their invoice and proof of payment.) Upon Inspection when I returned, the vinyl fence was very poorly installed and unstable. The employee I worked with was no longer with the company. I reached out to have Bronco fence correct the problem and for over a month and a 1/2 of weekly, bi-weekly calls, I have been put off . The owner told the staff he wanted to see my fence but has been too busy to even put me on his schedule or talk to me. Extremely disappointed with this company. They were recommend by many friends and coworkers , i was extremely excited to get a new fence put up. When calling in the first time i spoke to Jamie and she was very helpful and nice, got me scheduled fast and was great ! Brandon came out to give up our quote and he was super informative and nice, he stated he would give us the quote back in a few days. A week passed so I reached out to Brandon through text and email asking if he has sent it over or not (making sure it didn't go to junk mail). I never heard from him, waited another week and still nothing so I called back the shop. While calling 4 times and getting sent straight to voicemail all four times , I decided to call on my husbands phone. Jamie once again answers on the very first ring, I asked her if they were still available to get me my quote or if they didn't want to work on our fence anymore. Once I gave my name to her , her whole attitude switched and now it's been 4 weeks and never heard from them. We had Bronco Fence install a vinyl fence on a difficult slope in our backyard (rocky terrain + steep slope + retaining walls). The gates were custom made for the grade and they did an excellent job on the install. So pleased with how it looks and the overall experience with the company. Super responsive even through all of the product shortages - they arrived right when we expected them to and we could tell we were a priority. Note: lots of reviews talking about property lines - the company is very clear about how the property line will work and the customer is responsible for guiding them on where the fence line should be. They mark it clearly and the customer has to approve it before they begin working. read more

If I could could leave negative stars I would. We split the cost of replacing a side fence with our neighbor. The company was average on price and turn times, but terrible at communication and customer service. In May, the installation crew tore down the old fence, removed it and poured the new posts in the same day. When they were here, I told them to leave one section of the old fence and to let me know when they were done so I could secure our yard. There was about a 4' gap along the other fence line that I wanted to make sure was secured as we had chickens (yes, had) and the neighbors behind us have large dogs. They left without a word. Thus, I was unable to secure the gap to prevent the neighbor's dogs from entering my yard and killing our entire flock, which my son found the aftermath (hopefully no PSTD occurs from this). In addition to this, one of the Rainbird heads I just replaced was gone, the sprinkler line cut clean. Another rainbird was broken, and leaking. I called the sales rep to explain the situation and left a voice mail. No call back. So I sent and email, no response. It took two days for him to respond. When he finally responded, he promised me that the installation crew would put up the new fence within a week, which took almost two weeks. Then he explained he could nothing about what happened with the chickens except direct me to the owner, who was out of town so he couldn't be reached. In the meantime, a different sales rep emailed me to tell me that they don't cover sprinklers and that that was in the contract. I told then explained I never received the contract as they dealt with my neighbor directly. That rep never responded to that email. It took over a week for the owner to call me. He said he was "out of town" so he didn't get any of the emails, texts, or voicemails I left him. He agreed to come and look at the fence after installation was complete and see what he could to do to remedy the situation. The fence was installed 3 inches off the ground, one of the caps was glued on crooked, and one of the posts didn't even have a cap. All this in addition to the killing of my chickens because of the negligence of the workers. When he came out, he was glib with his apology. He agreed that the fence was higher than it should have been, that the caps should have been better, and that he'll have these fixed and "come up with something" to remedy the chicken situation and sprinkler situation. No one ever came out to fix the issues with the fence. He never got back to me, and refused to respond to any of my additional attempts to communicate with him. Stay away from this company. They do not care about quality, and care even less about customers. read more

He came out and measured. He said I would get a quote in a few days and all I needed to do was click accept and the job would be scheduled. One week goes by, no quote. So I text and ask them to resend thinking that perhaps it got deleted or ended up in spam. The said they would get it out to me. Three weeks go by and still no communication from them. So I text them again asking that if they were too busy or if this job was not worth their time to just simply let me know. Still no word. Not sure what their aversion is to putting in this gate. He was also out here last winter repairing two gates they had previously put in that were both sagging, and are sagging again, and I asked him if he would give me an quote on this same project. He took the time to measure and said he would get back to me. Again no response. Just a little bit of communication and professionalism goes a long way. Especially in todays world where contractors in general are doing such terrible work. Anyway good luck if you choose these guys. They might show up and they might not. Fence install went as planned although some confusion about the mow strip was easily rectified and communication was initially good. Had a gate installed and within a week of installation the gate wouldn't not close properly getting stuck on mow strip and lock mechanism seems to get stuck on a bolt. Have now called more than 5 times over the last 2 months with no response to fix it or even acknowledge the call. Every call goes to an answering machine for the last 4-5 weeks. All I want is the job done correctly or this issue fixed and the rating would have been better alas poor communication and follow through and this is what we are left with. read more

They came out to give us a quote for a new fence, the guy was not very helpful at all. We asked him if certain details on the fence would increase or decrease the cost and he just shrugged. He let us know that they were three months out on starting a fence, then he left and we never received a quote. I called the company a few times and played phone tag (they never answered), and still have never received a quote, a month later. We were giving them the benefit of the doubt before contacting other companies, assuming maybe they're affected by Covid related business issues, but probably should have started contacting other companies at the same time since we haven't heard a single thing from them. read more

A great company to put a new fence in for you! We just bought our 1st house earlier this year, and we needed to put a fence in for our dog and to have some more privacy. We knew it wouldn't be cheap, so the thought of paying for a fence on top of all our other bills (many of which are new to us, as we are newlyweds) was pretty overwhelming. Well, Bret with Bronco Fence came to look at our property and plans for a fence and I feel like we got a good deal, and he was good to work with and talk to! One thing that's great with Bronco Fence is if you'd like to finance it, they have a credit card application they'll give you through KeyBank for their Latitude card, which in the Intro APR, gives you 0% interest for 15 months! We are doing that, because why not? As long as you have it all paid by then. Jerry and his crew are the ones that installed our fence. They did a great job, and you could definitely tell they had done this before, because they were quick! Bronco fence is horrible. I've never worked with a worse company. 2021-2022 - History - 1) Ordered expensive gates with a 14 week lead time 2) After 14 weeks installers showed up to install and asked "where are the gates" Apparently, even though we put 50% down the salesman forgot to actually order the gates. Started the 14 week lead time process over again and called the sales office to complain nicely (seriously) to the manager. Lady answering the phone said essentially (not kidding), "your salesman is really not very good, he's probably our worst we have and we have a lot of problems with him." 3) I asked to speak to the manager (nicely) and they said he was unavailable. I also called back 2x and he never returned my calls. 4) As the second 14 weeks was getting close, I called the office several times to verify the install date. It took them a week to confirm the gates had even actually been ordered. Over a few weeks, I called them another 3-4 times to confirm the install date/time without them able to actually give me any info. 5) Finally, approximately 4 weeks after the second 14 week lead time, they gave me 1 day notice of the install and installed the gates. 6) The day after install, they actually reached out to me...... to pay the remaining 50%. :) 7) 2-3 weeks after install, the gates started not closing properly so I called Bronco Fence (nicely) to come and adjust the gates 2x. They said they'd call me right back each time to get me on the schedule. Never returned my call. I ended up figuring out how to adjust it myself. I purchased the prefab aluminum-gard fence. Bronco subs out to various contractor. The estimator should be the quality control guy. Mine dropped the ball. They carried my fence sections up some stairs allowing them to bang against the concrete chipping and scratching. Some of the gates swing the wrong way. Some heights are wrong. They had a gate that was dragging on the grass and they wanted to take dirt out from under the new sod and I said no, the landscaper had everything leveled and draining perfect. The came one day and did it anyway and left a mess and large holes and voids. They never came back to fix. Even after I tried to contact the estimator. Very disappointing. Fortunately, I am not a customer of this fence company. However, this company installed my neighbors fence completely on my property. They didn't look for the surveyed property pin and now I have a fence that runs approximately 40 + feet, six inches into my property line. Bronco fence is now telling their customer that it is their problem because they didn't tell them about the correct (as surveyed) property pin and they are refusing to move the fence off of my property unless their customer pays for removal and a re-install of the new fence. Outrageous. Seems like a great racket, install a fence incorrectly and then charge full price to install correctly. read more

My neighbor is using them to get a fence and they dumped the dirt from the post holes on our yard and they came up to the front of our house and without asking used our hose and water to do the job at our neighbors. It has now been a month and my dog and toddler can't be in our yard because there is no fence. After many calls they finally communicated that they didn't have the right parts because our property is on a hill. We had them put in a composite deck on our home. A year later all the side boards are coming off. We called them to repair it. The repairman was pretty rude. It came off again just months after it was repaired. Now no one will answer or when they do we are told they are out for a week but they would call us when they got back. The rails are all coming apart because no screws were put in to hold the rails together. The materials are fine but the workmanship is terrible. I would NOT recommend this guys to anyone. I have to start by saying the product isn't there problem. The problem is communication they never updated when they where coming. They left cigarette butts all over my yard. They didn't back fill any of the holes from the posts. The guy running the auger tour up the lawn more than necessary by trying to dig the holes with the machine facing uphill and not at an angle so the machine wouldn't roll down the hill. read more

Had Bronco fence do a gate and deck for me. With the gate, Bryan said it would be a heavier product with the door closing on its own. The product doesn't feel or seem any sturdier than what I had and the gate door doesn't close on its own. The gate builders also left a bunch of garbage in my backyard (I.e. Concrete bags) as well as concrete splatter all over the fence. The holes from the old fence that they filled look really bad! They said they would come fix them, but it's been a couple months, and nothing. With the deck, they said it would take 3 days, but the builder would show up, work for an hour or two, then leave. It ended up taking over 3 weeks, with us having to call several times to find out when he was coming back. I was home when he showed up with the Trex (which was to match another deck we had), it was the wrong color. He said he wouldn't have caught it if I had t been there. He said Bryan quoted the wrong color and that the correct color was more $ that he would have to pay out of his own pocket (is that normal?). Finally, when everything was done except for the caps on the vinyl pillars, he hadn't shown for a couple days. My wife called and that evening, he showed up with a Walmart bag with the caps and handed them to her and walked off. The Trex that surrounds the deck is already starting to fall off. If I could give then no stars I would!. DO NOT HiRE THEM. They have left me in a bad situation as we had a pooI installed and have no fence to keep kids out of the yard due to Bronco fence lies. I put a large deposit on an aluminum fence 11 months ago. The owner said 9 months ago they were having an issue getting materials. So I gave then time to get the materials in. I called several time and they lied and said the materials were on the way and they had blue stakes come out three time and mark my yard. Each time they never showed up to install the fence. I received no phone calls with any updates. I started noticing reviews of couple aluminum fences the have installed recently. I went down to the office and they were eager to give me a refund. I stated to them, "you never planed to install the fence". They stated they were having issues getting three custom curved panels. I ask then to install what they had. They did not have any of it. They refunded my deposit after sitting on it for so long. The office manager made it sound like they had given up on the job a while ago. I don't know about anyone else, but In Utah finding a contractor or company with morals is very hard. read more

Ok. I haven't yet had an install done by Bronco Fence but I did just have an estimate done about an hour or so ago done by Brett (Sales). The estimate is for a very small amount of fence with a total of 40' only! Using Black Aluminum Guard 4 Rail System with Puppy Pickets (Commercial Grade) at 48" high and a total of 6 sections. 5 total 144" Trex posts cut in half and then 9 pyramid caps (Woodland Brown color posts and caps). One gate 4' x 4'' with Hardware. Just the material alone they want $2,124.00 for only 40' of fence!! That's 12' on one end of the house and another 28' with a gate on the other end. Add another $500.00 minimum for labor and it's over $2600 for 40' of fence.. We moved here from Kentucky where we lived out in the Country. We had a whole Acre and had a "Kentucky Fence" (google to see) with 4 slats built around a large section with dog wire added to keep the dogs contained and we paid $3000 for that job. It was about 300 or so linear feet and had an 8' and a 3' gate! So NO, I will not be paying nearly the same price for only 40' of fence. Chain link from Lowes here I come! read more

DO NOT USE. I called their main office back in May 2016. At that time I was told to call a cell phone ending in 9000. First call was May 20th. I could NEVER get him to answer, but always left voicemails and followed up with a text. He eventually text back and asked me to text him photos since he couldn't come do the estimate for a week. So I did. He text back and said he'd be there the next week. I asked him to let me know a date and time and gave him my address at his request. No response. June 23rd I called and text him and asked what the estimate came out to. No response. June 28th same thing as before. No response. July 20th asked the same questions, he replied, "I have sent all your info to our repair guy he should be calling you. Thx". August 1st I said in a text, "Any followup from your repair guy? Haven't heard from him." He replied, "Thats not good I'll call the office and see what's up". Text him Aug 4th, no reply. Text him 11th, actually told me (I'm copying and paging from the text messages), "I have forward your info to the office the number there is 801-544-4941. They will get the repair guy you need. I m sorry I don't do that." Today, September 16th, I called the office. The lady said she could schedule me IN A MONTH FOR AN ESTIMATE. This company clearly does not have organizational skills and have lost our business and the several referrals they could've gained from us. I was very disappointed in Bronco Fence. I called to set an appointment, and was scheduled for an hour's window of time for an estimate the following week. I left work to be at home during that time period, but Brett never showed. I called the office an hour after the window ended, Brett said he had been in the area that morning, so he had just looked around then. I work 2 minutes away and could have been him immediately to discuss the job, but no one bothered to call to inform me of the time change. When I did get a hold of Brett the same day, he told me that he had taken all of the necessary measurements, but then asked me to provide them anyway. I did receive a quote by email the same day, but there was no response to my follow up emails or phone messages regarding an update to the quote. When I again got a hold of Brett almost 2 weeks later and asked for updating pricing on just a portion of the original quote. At this time, I found out that the original quote was for the wrong product (he had quoted a vinyl railing for my front porch, when I had requested a metal one). When I did get updated pricing for a metal banister, the price was way too high. My biggest issue with Bronco Fence was the complete lack of follow-through, which turned out to waste so much of my time. After waiting several weeks for a response from Brett, I still had to start over and find a new company to work with. read more

Product and service was less than ideal. While enjoying the contractor who built/priced the fence, their customer service is horrendous. Each of the 3 office staff I spoke with was uninformed, unfriendly, degrading, and unhelpful. They installed the wrong fence at my house (we were on vacation) to which were only offered an $80 discount. I had to get the ring-around before the contractor who originally priced us, offered a fair discount. I found out later during a windstorm that the slats to our fence weren't even NAILED IN. When I called and asked in a friendly and non rush of a manner for them to come out and fix, the office staff actually argued with me over it and claimed my fence shouldn't have required nails. It'll take over 3 weeks for a crew to be scheduled to come out and fix. Dreadful experience. read more

DO NOT USE BRONCO FENCING!!!! Our whole experience was awful! They told us they were coming to install the post first thing on a Monday. I took the day off work so I could be there to tell them where the fence lines were to go. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP! I was calling every number I could find trying to figure out why they weren't there. I called over 10 times between 1:00 and 4:00 and left 3 or 4 messages and no one responded until I got someone to answer at 4:30 PM and they said he would be out the first thing the next morning and it would be between 9am and 10am. Again, I took off work so I could be there when they got there. They didn't get there until 12:30. I showed him where the fence was to go. I looked outside 1 hour later and they were gone with no work being done.... I finally called their office at 2:30 to figure out why they weren't there and guess what... no one answered the phone. After multiple attempts my husband finally got ahold of them at around 4:00 and they said the water line wasn't marked off by the city. IT TOTALLY WAS! They sent the city out to mark it and the city guy was confused because it was already marked!! I walked around the yard to make sure they got the fence line right... it wasn't! And they spray painted on our house and curbing and they dug out one of my plants! They never said when they were going to be back or why they were even leaving in the first place. They left their metal machinery on our grass, which made it burn up and die. They finally came back the next day and didn't even tell me they were there. I had gotten out of the shower and heard the equipment starting up. I went outside to talk to the guy and figure out why he was not communicating with me and ask why he spray painted the house and curbing where there wasn't even a fence going in! He didn't have a good excuse. That day they dug the holes for the posts and actually got the post up. But they managed to break one of our hose containers. They left a HUGE pile of dirt in our backyard, that is still there, and some how made it so NONE of our sprinkler zones worked. Even the front yard ones!! HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN??? In one area they ripped out a whole sprinkler line! They ran over the main water box in the front yard and broke it, which broke the main water valve coming in from the city. We have spent hundreds of dollars trying to get this all fixed and it still needs more work. They said they would be back in 5 days to put in the panels. Two weeks later they still had not come back to put the rest of the fence in. I called and they acted like they had forgot about it and they would be out there soon and they came out the next day. I thought they would use that pile of dirt to back fill all the post holes but they only back filled one post and left the rest for us to deal with. They sent us our invoice and we were trying to be easy going about the whole thing but we wanted them to understand how much damage they had done to our yard in the process and how we had missed work and lost vacation days, and not to mention, our fence was already broken in two places! So my husband sent an email detailing everything the day after the invoice was received. The next day we get a voicemail with no acknowledgement of the email wanting to collect payment in full. So my husband sent the email again this time to the 2 different bronco fence email addresses we could find and left a voicemail at their office. A week went buy and we received no response until they called trying to collect payment in full again. My husband called and left a voicemail and sent 3 more emails out and we didn't hear anything back for over a month when out of the blue they responded to the email and offered us a 6% discount. 6%!! With the money we saved we were able to buy a new sprinkler box and one sprinkler head. I guess they want us to cover the new curbing, new plants, new valve for the sprinkler box (which was no where near the fence), someone to haul away the pile of dirt or backfill the fence posts for us, the money lost from not working on the days I sat around waiting for them to show up, and the vacations days our family lost are just something we are going to have to deal with. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? We have gone through Hell with this company. We have spent more than that fixing our yard from you, plus the money I could have made the days I took off work, plus the headache you gave us!!! And now we have to hire a different company to fix our fence in those 2 spots from their mistakes! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They have 0 customer service skills and refuse to communicate with people. It was the worst!! I thought they were the best price but after all of the additional costs they were probably the most expensive option. Never again will I ever do business with Bronco Fencing. The only reason they are not getting 1 star is because the quality of their finished project was decent. Otherwise this company is terrible to work with. Their customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. We were sold the fence by a rep for the company and paid in full on that day (first mistake). When the workers showed up late not on the day they told us, they had no idea what they were even supposed to be doing. We had to direct them on what we had discussed with the rep. They continued to show up late or not at all on the days they told us they were coming. And we had to call the office multiple times to see when someone was going to come to finish the project (since we didnt have a fence on one side of the yard and we have dogs). Most of the time, they didnt answer the phone or just blew us off. We then recently had wind damage to the fence and need part of it repaired. We have now been trying to get a call back from them for three weeks and keep getting no answer, no call back from voicemails left or someone actually does answer the phone and they tell us they are too busy and will call us in a few days (which they have never done). We were hesitant to go with them again but have friends who had an ok experience and wanted to same company who put up the fence to fix it. Today i put out a request for a bid and have had two local companies already get back to me about it. Don't use this company. Despite the quality of the product, it is not worth the hassle. read more
