Totally not expecting to find a delicious authentic Indian Food out here in Manhattan, KS! Doesn't look like a whole lot from the outside. But then again, you can't judge the book by its cover! It wasn't busy when got it around 5pm on a Tuesday, but the food came out fairly quickly. Service and the staff were great! Their food has so much flavor to it it made my eyes roll every bite! Yes, it was that good! It's a good place to have Indian food when in Manhattan, KS! I Highly Recommend!

    Butter Chicken

I've been wanting to try Globe for a while, but I haven't had much Indian food, so I was nervous on what to order, but just went for it. I had the butter chicken, garlic naan, and raika & I have to say Globe is now my new favorite restaurant in town! 10/10- and I also ordered take out & its delicious! Sometimes Togo food is hit or miss, but they have yet to miss! Thank you for the amazing food!

The establishment's cuisine was exceptional, and the service was provided with utmost respect and cordiality. An extensive array of vegetarian dishes was offered, each appearing to be of the highest quality

Eric R. went to the grand opening today as we have missed an Indian restaurant in our city. It actually is in the same location as the Indian restaurant that used to be here three restaurants or so ago. He ordered the meat thalis but for us, but ended up with one veggie one so we got to try a lot of dishes plus basmati rice, naan, and gulab jamun. We enjoyed tandoori chicken and two other chicken dishes plus two veggie dishes. I am not sure what we had exactly but I could look it up and figure it out - one veggie dish had kidney beans and lentils, and the other had broccoli and carrots. Everything was very tasty and packaged well. Eric R. also got two free mango lassis for the grand opening with the order, and we enjoyed those a lot. The menu looks really good (biryani and dosa, anyone?) so we will have to order more in the near future. Welcome to the neighborhood, Globe!

My wife and I went here impulsively and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we will be back. The staff were all very nice and helpful! The dishes themselves were amazing! There is Not too many choices on the menu to feel overwhelmed but a comfortable amount of variety with helpful explanations to guide your choice. The mint chutney is a phenomenal sauce that's easy to pair with almost everything. I can't wait to come back and try something new. Though on the pricier side as Indian food usually is, it makes for a phenomenal and flavorful treat!

    Garlic and butter naan

Today I visited, they were super nice and the food came out quick. We ordered 2 butter chicken dishes that came with rice, garlic and butter naan bread. 4 slices came with each. I personally preferred the garlic naan. We also ordered two mango lassi To go, they were delicious, we were so full by the end. The bill came to $67 and some change, it was pricey to me but gladly paid since we don't have any other Indian restaurants in town and I understand things aren't cheap these days. Over all its great food and I would love to come back again soon.

Spent $12.99 plus tax & tip on a vegetable curry and didn't get very full at all. Please, bigger sized servings!! It was good.

Eric R. and Rebecca K. joined me for dinner here last night. The restaurant was very busy for a Wednesday night which is awesome. The service was great, and we were checked on by numerous people. We started with the vegetable samosa chaat, and it was deeeeelicious! Eric R. ordered the mixed curry on the Nepalese menu, which has chicken, lamb, and shrimp. He also loves saag paneer and decided to order that too. I ordered tandoori roti to go with it. Rebecca K. got the paneer korma and the cherry coconut stuffed naan. Two bowls of rice accompanied all of this. We picked from spice levels, making the curry a little spicier than the saag paneer, for example. Everything was really delicious. We also all got hot masala chai. This actually came after all of the food, but it was delicious and creamy to temper the heat of spicy curry. I was stuffed by the end of the meal, and we were given to go containers to box up the remaining food. I would love to return and try more food. Rebecca K. wanted to try vegetable momo but they were "sold out" so that could be for next time. I wish this restaurant great success!

The aloo paratha and the lamb rogan josh were just okay, they needed a little more salt or seasoning to it. The chicken chili momos were delicious. Despite the flaws, it's an addition to the dining scene of the Manhattan, KS area and I might come back to try more things on the menu.

I was in Topeka last weekend with my friend Rebecca K. to do some shopping, and she suggested stopping here to take the food back to Manhattan. However, I worked up a hunger and we decided to eat an early dinner. The restaurant opens for dinner at 4:30 PM. We arrived right before 5 and the France v. England third place World Cup Match was on. I got a mango lassi and we ordered chaat papri for an appetizer. I decided to order a lot so I could bring some back to Eric R. who loves Indian food. I got the badami chicken kebob as I had never heard of this but it sounded amazing. I also got lamb vindaloo. Rebecca K. got her own dish and garlic naan to share. The chaat papri game out with three chutneys on the side and it was SO good. The badami chicken was marinated in yogurt, lemon, almond paste, and spices. It was served with onions on a sizzling platter like fajitas! We got plenty of basmati rice with our meal. It was absolutely delicious. I had lots of food to take home and share with Eric R. the next day. The service was also excellent. I will definitely be back here to try new dishes, especially since there are many that I do not see typically on Indian restaurant menus.
