Booked my appointment with GloGirl Spray Tanning for the upcoming wedding I was in. I received a confirmation text and directions from the owner of the business. I was hesitant about going because it had been so long since I had a spray tan and I didn't want to look orange or abnormal during my friend's special day. When arriving, I completely missed my turn, GloGirl is kind of hard to get to. It's in between a gas station and a brand new strip center but the directions I received definitely did help. Stacey was so helpful. Very professional and friendly. I went with one friend and the bride in the bridal party. When it was my turn for my tan, she gave me her recommendations and walked me through each pose. It was like my first spray tan all over again but this time it was the best experience I ever had! I can tell Stacey definitely cares about her clients and has a passion for what he does. Not to mention, I'm so impressed with how my tan looks days after I got it! Amazing spray tan. Stacey is super helpful the owner and will give a lot of direction. Space is very clean and welcoming. I like that she sprays you with baby powder @ the end so your aren't sticky. This is the only salon I've been to that you can't customize your color, but you pick a color on their menu. At first I didn't like it but I really like getting their classic glo girl spray. Prices seem to be a bit higher by a couple of dollar than some other places, but I don't mind. read more

It's the perfect shade, I went here after randomly finding this place on google for my graduation party tan and ONE WEEK LATER there is barely any fading. My tan looked amazing and the staff walked me through everything I needed to know about getting a spray tan. First of all, I was CRUSHED to find that - not only did my fav spray tan person at Nordstrom LEAVE - BUT they actually can no longer provide spray tans because they have NO EMPLOYEES that can do it! Found this place instead before my gender reveal photos for my third child and I was really impressed. First of all, the tan fades completely naturally - which I have NEVER experienced before. It didn't look like it normally does at the end of a spray tan where it starts to kind of get splotchy. I think I am still more of a fan of the color of the Nordstrom brand but maybe I'm just more used to it or I need to leave this one longer. But to have it not look terrible at the end is totally worth it. Also, doesn't smell and the person that did mine was super sweet. The decor is fabulous. I really wanted a bit of tan for my wedding, but I had never had an airbrush tan before and was very nervous. I did a ton of research on how to prepare for it and decided to give it a trial run about a month before my wedding. I went to Glo Girl and got the Clear Glo & Finishing Powder. I LOVED IT! Stacey ensured that I had the perfect shade so it wasn't too dark or unnatural. Think sun kissed vs sun goddess (which was exactly what I wanted). Also, this particular tan goes on clear so no staining! Stacey gives great directions on how to care for your skin and tan before and after, so LISTEN to her! It's very important. I went back 2 days before my wedding and forgot that I needed to get my manicure and pedicure first. The mani/pedi caused a slight discoloration on my hands and feet, but Stacey fit me in and corrected my mistake without charging me. Stacey is professional and clearly experienced at her work! This is hands down the best spray tan I've ever gotten (and I've had them all over NYC and TX), and by far the best spray tanning place in Houston. Every time I've gone, I've looked natural, I don't smell weird, and my tan does not rub off on my clothes. I always get the regular tan with the finishing powder, which i find does a great job at helping you feel dry after your tan. All of the spray tanners are amazing. I went before my graduation where I had to wear an expensive white suit, and I was SO relieved at how natural my tan looked with an all white outfit and how none of the tan came off on the inside of my clothes. I would recommend them to literally anyone who asked. They are fast, professional, and just GOOD at their job. I wish I could give Glo Girl ten stars. read more
