The restaurant itself is nice, nothing fancy, they are here to feed you and that's their priority. For the food: I went with the Birria Jalisco and my partner went with the fajita burrito. For drinks we had a mimosa and coffees. Mimosa was great, coffee was pretty standard. The birria was actually pretty tasty and came with a side of rice and beans. I just wish I would've asked for corn instead of flour tortillas as they don't ask when you place the order. My partner THOROUGHLY enjoyed the fajita burrito lol that plate was clean. The pulled pork with succulent and also had a wonderful smoky flavor. The barbecue sauce was served on the side so you're able to add as much as you want. The sauce was very good and complemented the meat well. The smoked mac & cheese was very tasty and had the right amount of cheese to bread, crumb, and pasta. It was not the traditional elbows, which was great. The potato salad was of the German variety which I like and was also very tasty. we finished off the meal with some waters and a Coke zero. This is a simple barbecue truck with a very nice owner. There is a picnic table beside the truck under a tree which made for a delightful treat. The owner was very nice and definitely knows how to cook a brisket. There are not a lot of options for restaurants in Chama these days and on a Sunday afternoon. This was a very welcome surprise.

The first night there was a 4 taco special for $7.50 but I upgraded my tacos to carnitas. Asada, and pastor for $1.50. The pastor was my favorite but they were all good. Hubs had the enchiladas (per usual) and was happy. Our little loved the chicken tenders and the fries are delicious. The second time she had rice and beans and declared them the best she'd ever had! At lunch I had the quesobirria special and they were definitely the best id ever had. I'm often disappointed, but here- not a bit! The service is so friendly and helpful! It has a family feel.
