Beef taco plate with rice and beans
Jason S.

This diner/Café has so much charm. It's overflowing. Pretty expansive menu featuring normal American type lunches with some additional Mexican fare. I went for the taco plate which came with rice and beans and cheese; chips and salsa were also included - all of this for $15! The decor of Fina's is memorabilia, primarily of Coke. They have a shelf of random hot sauces that is nice. Service is friendly and the feel of the place is warm. I would definitely stop back in here next time I'm in Chama!

Came to Chama for a wedding! This small town gem is so beautiful! This diner most definitely has the small town vibe, famous locals and high school sports teams cover the walls, along with coca-cola collectibles and American Flags galore! There's only like 5 tables in this place but don't let that fool you. The food here is soo damn good! I got a breakfast burrito smothered in green chile... and this chile was so tasty!! Believe this chile snob. The heat was a good 8/10 but it didn't take away from the flavor of the green chile. Although it was just a breakfast burrito, it was definitely on my top 3 list!

Fina's Special burrito. Massive is an understatement. And flavor to match. Worth every penny.

We drove 2 hours to get here and would drive double. Everything was delicious and huge. Pancakes were great, same for cinnamon rolls and burritos. I would give 10 stars if I could. And Fina was awesome.

Love this place. The dish shown in as graced with "red and green chili (Christmas). It came with crispy hash browns and fantastic beans. The atmosphere is always interesting at Finas while enjoying your meal.

I've eaten here twice and neither time disappointed. Stopped for Breakfast this trip. Huevos Ranchero was good. Choice of Red or Green hot sauce. I wimped out and went with the red. I learned along time ago you have to ask around this areas because it varies by location. Wife had the standard eggs, hash browns, bacon & toast. She said it was a a good as anyplace she's eaten. Worth a stop.

I rarely give 5 stars and this deserves it!! EAT HERE!! Patio chairs during C19. Drive-up. Wonderful green chili. Homemade cinnamon rolls. Enjoy your meal!

Huevos Rancheros Merry Christmas

First bite was heaven. Beans cooked for hours low and slow so they melt in your mouth. The green Chile thickened just right and the red has just the right amount of burn. It was beautifully executed So on your way by on highway 84 swing on in where the locals eat and greet you as walk in with a resounding good morning. And this was a great way to start the day.

Breakfast burrito... minus main ingredient!

Looking forward to my egg & cheese and hashbrown burrito that I picked up to go for breakfast. Guy who did the carry out window was friendly and burrito huge. Unfortunately when I got to where I was going to eat it I found out I just had hash browns & cheese. No egg at all. Very disappointed!

Worlds. Largest. Burrito!

This post isn't to completely bash this place rather just to share my opinion…read more Staff is super attentive and our drinks were never empty. The food however was terrible. Four of us with a meal each, two cups of coffee, and two lemonades was $82, which is far too pricey for the quality of the food. I ordered the huevos rancheros and I have never eaten such bland food before. The beans were hard as though they hadn't been cooked all the way and I am not sure how, but even the single slice of bacon that came with it was bland. I ended up eating the eggs on top of the corn tortillas and left the rest of my food. One of my sons ordered the lunch burrito with chicken and without me prompting him, also said that it was bland and flavorless. My other son ordered the short stack and said that the pancakes were ok but poured the syrup on and it tasted like maple flavored water and made the pancakes soggy. My husband got the chicken fried steak and said it was ok once he put a ton of salt on it. Please see the photos. We ended up leaving most of our food untouched. We paid our bill in full and left tip, which was over $100 for bland food that we didn't hardly eat. I would recommend skipping this place as the food is bland and tasteless, even by hungry teenage boy's standards. The two stars of this review are definitely because staff was great.

Brunch options are the most well known but I think they'd be good for other meal times too. I personally got the Liege Belgian waffle with strawberries, banana, and whip cream and I thought it was absolutely amazing. The pearl sugar, the textures, and flavors! One of my favorite waffles I've ever had. I will be thinking about this whenever I crave a waffle in the future. Just the right amount of sweetness and crunch! My friend got the Hash Smash bowl. I got to taste a small bite and I found the aioli sauce to be delicious. Speaking of sauces, they have hot sauce buckets with a bunch of different ones to try. I found that very nice that they offer that and let people try a bunch of sauces they otherwise might not have had that chance to try otherwise. Also very interesting and unexpected that they happen to have boba drinks in this part of town. FYI though, their boba isn't soaked in syrup so it's bland if your drink isn't quite sugar heavy enough itself. Highly recommend the restaurant look into that and soak their bobas to take the drinks to the next level. Lastly, their menu seems to change quite often and the pics on yelp don't reflect the current menu anymore. You may see dishes/drinks missing or on there that you didn't expect.

The food was excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly even with our big group. The coffees were just as impressive, rich and well-made.
