The sauteed mushrooms were also good. The service was at least as disappointing. They took our beer orders, but never served them. The restaurant was not super busy at the time, so there's no excuse. [Original 5-star review] One of two restaurants in Chama that I consider really good (the other is Outlaw BBQ). On our most recent visit, we had 3 pizzas: buffalo chicken (a special not on the regular menu), Yard Bird, and pepperoni. All were really good; the buffalo chicken was my favorite. I advise ordering, up front, everything you plan to drink. Having finished a great milk stout beer, and there being no sign of our food, I went back to get another and was firmly told to go to the end of the (food ordering) line. Before I got to order again, most of the beers, including the milk stout, had run dry. It was a half hour before I made it back to our table, but I did beat the pizzas.

And for those hesitant by the negative reviews of service, they have new management, so don't let that deter you.

We started with the salads, which were phenomenal- absolutely huge portions and incredibly fresh. The pizza itself was spectacular. Even though the restaurant was pretty busy, the service was impressively quick and attentive, and the environment was great to hang out in. Before we left, we got some of their dessert dough balls to go--both the apple pie and the cinnamon flavors. They were absolutely delicious and the perfect sweet finish. Overall, just a wonderful meal and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Our server was great in taking our orders and checking on us, but to get the check on the other hand, that took a while. Onto the food. Our order got mixed up a bit. We got one pizza placed in front of us that wasn't ours, the other that got dropped off someone at my table didn't notice and started eating it. Then our original order was brought. Long story short we had a bunch of left overs. I personally got a calzone that was amazing and the size portion was huge. This is a pet friendly location so they have outdoor seating and sliding garage doors that can be closed. Overall it was a great feel to it. And we would def come back for more.

I cannot think of a place where I have been yelled at and harassed anywhere in my life before. It's a beat down old pizza shack where you can eat outside but there are many rules posted outside. Don't break any of the rules or you will be crucified. The whole environment and experience was disappointing. I will not be posting a picture of the mid grade pizza either.

We stepped up to the order window and the woman took our order, and we sat outside at the picnic tables and waited about 20 minutes. We were handed a hot pizza box and we were on our way. As we drove, the smell of a perfectly cooked pizza filled the car. Once we got to our room, we sat out on our patio and enjoyed a perfectly cooked pizza. It was delicious! Don't expect much service. The woman was very matter of fact, was a bit more friendly when she brought our pizza out. But we weren't expecting much, just great pizza and Mamacita absolutely delivered.
