If you were able to get the bulbs you could take those home too, which is a nice perk since they are perennials and will come back year after year. Plenty of parking. Tickets are cash or card. They have some goodies to also purchase on your way out. Petting farm for the kiddos (I mean I squealed when I saw the cute pigs too). Live music. Food trucks. The main nursery is open, as well. Lots of plants for sale when we went. And LI Farm Brewery is on premises!

I sampled some of the available apples and they were not that sweet but I had already paid for the box ($67 for one peck) so I just picked the ones that were ok. I also picked lots of string beans, so it wasn't a complete waste. I was told it was a rip off but I enjoyed the experience. Fast forward a few days and now the apples are very sweet and crisp! Better than what you get at the supermarket for sure. The green beans are also fresh and not like the mushy bags you get at Trader Joe's. There's nothing like farm to table. They also have a nice bakery with excellent cheese bread and pies. Very fresh and warm when we bought them. The location is closer to Nassau and Manhattan than other farms on Long Island. We wanted to go to Milk Pail but it was a longer drive.

The farm is behind the stand and a tractor was going and signs were up to not pick the smaller plant section. Must have pick your own going on some things. Saw a super tall young farmer like 6'7" hop out of his pick up to do something by the stand then zip back to the field. hahaha. Farmers are all so cool. Young ones even nicer to see. We bought the ticket for their big slide and our kiddo had a blast riding it a bunch of times. The staff there's were really nice. We got to hang out with all the animals and that was the best because there was literally no other person at the farm, at that time. They have hand washing stations, decent bathrooms, tons of things that kids can jump on, ride and play with. It's so nice and I definitely want to come back. We payed on the go-carts and they also have huge bouncy pillows and a big corn playpen for the kiddies that love sensory play. They have a beautiful nursery and small farm store, so on the way out I purchased some flavored honey, painted rocks, and plants, for my mother.

Face painting was $10, I believe the "gold digging" demo was $6 (and there is a sign that suggests you do the other activities before getting your face painted as the paint might not last, which I appreciated). Food was available for purchase and I got a roasted corn that I was forced to split with the kid. The corn wasn't that sweet but still sufficed. I didn't get to look at the plants or any of the nursery items but I will def head back there when in the area when it's time to start planting.
