If you were able to get the bulbs you could take those home too, which is a nice perk since they are perennials and will come back year after year. Plenty of parking. Tickets are cash or card. They have some goodies to also purchase on your way out. Petting farm for the kiddos (I mean I squealed when I saw the cute pigs too). Live music. Food trucks. The main nursery is open, as well. Lots of plants for sale when we went. And LI Farm Brewery is on premises!

There is a store to purchase a bunch of pies and produce as well as stands where you can get some goodies like popcorn and cookies. The building all the way to the far right is accessible to the public and when you go in, it a spacious area with a bar. They are waiting on a liquor license so you can get your apple cider slushes and chill for a bit. Apples were available for picking but Bubs for tires by the time we walked over to U-pick. We will be back when the pumpkins are full grown for sure.

I sampled some of the available apples and they were not that sweet but I had already paid for the box ($67 for one peck) so I just picked the ones that were ok. I also picked lots of string beans, so it wasn't a complete waste. I was told it was a rip off but I enjoyed the experience. Fast forward a few days and now the apples are very sweet and crisp! Better than what you get at the supermarket for sure. The green beans are also fresh and not like the mushy bags you get at Trader Joe's. There's nothing like farm to table. They also have a nice bakery with excellent cheese bread and pies. Very fresh and warm when we bought them. The location is closer to Nassau and Manhattan than other farms on Long Island. We wanted to go to Milk Pail but it was a longer drive.

Saw a super tall young farmer like 6'7" hop out of his pick up to do something by the stand then zip back to the field. hahaha. Farmers are all so cool. Young ones even nicer to see. We bought the ticket for their big slide and our kiddo had a blast riding it a bunch of times. The staff there's were really nice. We got to hang out with all the animals and that was the best because there was literally no other person at the farm, at that time. They have hand washing stations, decent bathrooms, tons of things that kids can jump on, ride and play with. It's so nice and I definitely want to come back. We payed on the go-carts and they also have huge bouncy pillows and a big corn playpen for the kiddies that love sensory play. They have a beautiful nursery and small farm store, so on the way out I purchased some flavored honey, painted rocks, and plants, for my mother.

I didn't end up buying flowers this time, but i did get a watermelon and a cookie. Let me just say, it's so delicious! the watermelon is so juicy and the chocolate chip cookie is huge and it's so yum. Workers were so nice as well. But I'm so glad I was 100% proven wrong, because this is a hidden gem and needs to stay that way to keep lines from forming. As soon as you walk in you could tell there were too many delicious choices to narrow down into an order including pralines and cream, banana nut crunch and bartman. And if something doesn't quite fit your fancy, you can choose to add toppings to your mix from the large variety of options. The line moves fast, and the friendly staff are super helpful and ready to answer questions. The menu also provides favorite concoctions and sundaes. The interior may seem small, but you don't need much room to get in, order, and get out quickly. The only problem is I only had two hands to hold my order as I wanted to try everything.
