We were told to try Glovers in Caldwell for our 2 furbabies toe nails. So she said anytime between 11:30 & 12:30. So I had been trying to scissor cut our oldest shih tzu, but it didn't look real good. So we went in there, and the owner took one look at our kids, and said I cannot let them out of this shop looking like that. We told her the oldest had separation anxiety more so since our accident in March 2021 at the Malad Gorge in Idaho..So we left them there , they called at 3pm but didn't get the message til 4. Please, please do not take your dogs to this place. The owner is very rude and did a terrible job on my poor dog. His appointment was at 11:00 am so my husband dropped him off. 1:00 rolled around then 2:00 still no call to pick him up. I went in at 2:30 to check on him and they still had not started on him. He does not like to be in a cage so this was so tramatic for him. The owner was very rude so this was a huge red flag for me. I ask her how much longer because he had already been there since 11:00. She said another hour. But I got a call at 3:00 telling me he was ready to be picked up. I was shocked they only spent less than 30 minutes on him. I know this because she was still working on a different dog. I kick myself because I should have taken him with me at 2:30 when I was there the first time. When I got there at 3:05 to get him the owner was extreamly rude and he looked terrified. I have never seen him so scared, he could not get out of there fast enough. Unfortunately they make you pay before they give you your dog back. Or I would not have given her a dime. I paid $40 for my poor dog to be tortured for 4 hours. Then when I got him home his right back paw started bleeding profusely because they cut his toenail way to short. Our poor dog suffered all day because of this terrible place. It was very sad to watch him shaking because of this terrible place. I was heartbroken that I put him through such torture. read more
