SUZANNE IS A MIRACLE WORKER!!! I never had acne as a young adult but as soon as I hit my mid twenties I got it bad! Real bad! I went to my doctor really considered. My doctor switched my birth control and still no luck. I then turned to extremely harsh products like Obagi and Retin-A per my doctors instructions also no luck. I just got extremely irritated peely skin. So I saw a "acne specialist" dermatologist, and they wanted me to do Acutane, which was not a road I was willing to go down. This "place" is a joke. I think these people leaving five star reviews are imaginary. Maybe her business is imaginary. When you book an appointment it just goes into a mysterious black hole, and same thing when you try to call. I booked an appointment with Suzanne two weeks ago. I was super excited, seeing all these happy people reviewing and because I've never gotten a facial before. When I booked online, I got an email that said "Someone will be in touch with you to confirm appointment and reveal the address." Because, the location in Davis is "private" for whatever reason, maybe it's her home? Anyway, don't follow the address on Yelp because it's wrong. My appointment was supposed to be today, and I NEVER recieved a confirmation to say if my appointment had been accepted or denied. But if there was availability on her online calendar, why would it be denied? So, I followed the address that's here on Yelp and well, that wasn't it. At 2:30 I show up to the address and the folks inside have no idea what I'm talking about, have never heard of her business. Oh yeah, mind you I started calling the number that is on her website from 11:30 AM all the way up until 2:30 throughout the day. For a total of FOURTEEN calls. Each one went straight to voicemail. I sent an email and left a phone message, to no avail so far. What's up with that? Here I am past my appointment time, wasted an hour trying to find this seemingly non-existant place, can't get ahold of anyone...so much for a relaxing day. I had two more facials booked for me and my mom at the end of the month and you bet I cancelled those. This is totally unacceptable. If you don't have time for my appointment, let me know. If your business no longer operates in Davis, update it on your site! If your contact information has changed, also update that. There's no excuse for any of this in my mind. Beware. read more
