Pharmacy has the WORST customer service. I was on hold for about an hour. I'm reviewing this walgreens based on something that happened yesterday evening. I called this pharmacy (during the opening hours listed on their website) 3 times. The first time I thought I was hung up on accidentally or the system disconnected me. The second time I thought maybe it was a coincidence because it was answered, without saying anything i was put on hold, and then it disconnected. The third time, I heard the phone pick up, could hear background noise and it was definitely someone hanging up on me without saying anything. Looking at the reviews, I don't think this type of behavior is a one off. read more

Walgreens I heard Walgreens had delivery option now, so after being a loyal rite aid customer for over 40 years (back when they were thriftys and Payless) we made the decision to go with Walgreens for all of our pharmacy needs. Where should I begin, the actual building is unkept and dirty. The drive thru looks and smells like urine and the ground is dirty. The inside of the pharmacy, with the metal curtains, looks like a run down methadone clinic. The pharmacy looks like it's straight out of skid row and the pharmacy employees match that vibe. They pharmacy clerks are dry, uninterested in customer service. The woman who tends to the customers really hates her job. (The Hispanic pharmacist who speaks Spanish is really nice, so he gets a pass). The rest of the pharmacy staff is rude and dry. My medications have been unable to be filled and the app asked me to call the pharmacy. Each time I call, there's a 20 minute hold. Staff picks up the phone and puts you back on hold. I'm not sure why they do this, maybe it's so the hold times aren't marked as being long, but they're long, I mean SUPER long hold times; this is giving me state office vibes when you expect to be placed on hold all day. Then nobody really tells me why my meds aren't being filled. Everyone I speak with gives me a vague answer. I hate this place. I hate the decision of leaving Rite Aid. Rite aid would greet me and be nice when we walked in. Day and night difference. Do yourself a favor and don't ever do business with Skid Row Walgreens. read more

I recently when into Wlagreens in Woodland, CA for printer paper. (LOL) As I entered the store I was greeted by the cashier named Jordan. She greeted me with a smile, and asked if I needed any help. I told her what I was looking for, and she said follow me and took me to the paper section of the store. She showed my all the options that they had on the shelf. Once I picked out what I wanted, Jordan took the paper up to the register and told me if I had anymore shopping to do, that she would hold the paper at the counter for me. Since I didn't have anymore shopping to do, I followed her to the register. Jordan asked how the night was going and ran me up. I was soon on my way out out. Was very unfortunate to hear that this location had yelled at my grandmother till she cried when she was trying to pick up her disabled sister's medication. Her car broke down in the drive thru she called aaa and she informed them and they told her she had 30min or they would call the cops on top of staff and customers teaming up on her being rude. TL; DR: Save yourself a lot of time and hassle and order your photos elsewhere. On 12/23, I ordered a custom cover photo book of wedding photos as a Christmas present for my husband. Was initially told it would be done the same day. I called Walgreens later the same day to ask after the status of my order (note: *I* called *them*; no one ever bothered to call me). Was rudely informed that their printer is broken and my order would not only *not* be ready for Christmas as initially promised, but it would be a wait until after the New Year (approximately a 2 week wait). I called the national Walgreens number and filed a complaint. After this, the Woodland store manager called me and said I could send the same order to a Sacramento Walgreens and he would pick up for me (the manager was nice and shared empathy). I sent the order to the Sacramento Walgreens. The following week, I got a call saying the Sacramento Walgreens' printer is broken, too (surprise). By this point, I wanted my photos as soon as possible, in order to rectify the fact I had no present for my husband on Christmas. I called the Woodland store and asked if I could cancel the photo book order and order 4x6 photos instead and get those for free. I was told this is acceptable, so I ordered photos for an amount comparable to what the photo book would have cost. Today, I called the Woodland store in advance to confirm my photos were ready for pick up and that I wouldn't be charged for them. On the phone, I was told that Walgreens would take care of the cost. When I showed up in person to get my photos, a different story unfolded. Walgreens Photo staff told me that actually, it was the photo book that would be free, and I would still have to pay for the 4x6 order. I asked where the photo book is, and they told me it's not ready since they were waiting on me for a custom cover (????????? a statement that makes no sense, since I already put in that order back on 12/23... and then specifically cancelled it and replaced it with the 4x6 order). The staff was rude and aggressive, acting like it was my fault when they were the ones who messed up. Ultimately, Woodland Walgreens Photo ended up 1) charging *me* for *their* incompetence by making me pay for 4x6 photos that they said would be free due to the mishap *they* caused; 2) giving me for free a loose photo book without a custom cover (basically a set of stapled pages I could've printed out at home - see photo); and 3) giving me a useless Walgreens gift card (useless, because, who would ever return to Walgreens after having such a horrendous experience?). Whilst doing so, Walgreens staff wasted my time by making me put in additional orders when I could've been doing other things. The pharmacy never has my perceptions ready when they say they will be ready, i always call before to make sure they are ready to be picked up and they will tell me they are ready but when I get to the pharmacy they have me wait 15-45 minutes.
