Yes, Deep Tissue Massage can hurt, initially; if you can withstand a few minutes of that minor "pain" you will find that the pain that brought you there has been alleviated. If the "pain" of her skilled treatments are beyond your tolerance - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE This is not for everyone, until you realize the benefit she provides, So Please do not disparage her knowledge and skill with a comment based on ignorance. One 30 minute session changed the chronic aching in BOTH legs and BOTH shoulders to the point where i stopped blaming my joints for the searing spasms and missteps into the realization that the major nerves affected EVERYTHING i was feeling.
