This is now my go to spot for a good massage. I've been here once before because I was given a gift card. Consoni was my massage therapist. This morning I was badly in need of a massage, called and got an appointment right away with Consoni. She is AH-mazing!! Wonderful attitude and vibe. Made my day!!! Now I feel rejuvenated and ready to take on the week. The Beauty lounge offers several services. On my last visit I got a massage and a facial. They were both good, of course the massage was my favorite. The facial was not bad but it was not necessarily something I would come back for. The atmosphere is nice and quiet. The staff is friendly. It does not have your typical spa style vibe, which is OK since they don't advertise themselves as a spa. I would recommend you bring cash so that you can pay the regular price, as if you pay with card there is an additional fee. Also if you want to leave a tip make sure to tell them prior to paying if you're using card or they will have to do a separate transaction for the tip. Case in point, bring cash to pay for your services to Limit confusion and fees. I'm not sure if I will try other services, but I will definitely be back from massages regularly. Consoni does an awesome job and the prices are very affordable. I've paid MUCH more for massages that aren't near as good as hers. A spa vibe is my preference for a relaxing day. I like a place to sit and just relax a bit after a massage with a cup of tea prior to getting back to the hustle. I'm not sure how much business they get it, but if they wanted to up their game, adding a small lunch with a few packages and a small room to just sit and relax and drink a cup of tea would definitely make it a place that people would want to spend a half or full day of relaxation. read more

5 minutes ago New I came to have eyelash extensions removed and the tech was very aggressive on my eyes and eyelashes. I told her several times that whatever solution she was using was burning and that it was hurting. She continued to remove the lashes with tweezers and an unknown solution. I am back now, the following morning to ask what solution was used so that I never come here again or have this mistake made elsewhere and the lady at the front almost refused to show me what was used. She kept going back and forth with me, asking why I needed to see what was used. I told her so that I can go to the eye doctor because my eyes are still irritated and hurting today. She goes into a room, and comes out with a cream remover and would not show me the box it came in and said it's "their" brand. I believe she showed me something completely different than what was used to remove my lash extensions, but I will never return. I would be weary of coming here as they did not use safe sanitation practices and are shady. $36 for lash removal and most likely now have an eye infection and possible chemical injury. I have never had pain or burning like I did yesterday with lash removal. These women do not care about client care or comfort. Would not recommend coming here for lash application or removal. On Saturday, June 8th I went to Glow Beauty Lounge in Buford GA and got eyelash extensions. Immediately, my left I began to burn and was red. I figured it was maybe just a drop of glue that may have gotten in my eye, and that it would go away. Gradually, the problem got worse and spread to my right eye. By Sunday night (June 9th), I woke up to find that both my eyes had reached the worse that they had been. My eyes were swollen, red, and now kept watering, limiting visibility. I immediately went t to Glow Beauty Lounge's website to book the first available appointment. The earliest available was at 9am, but their schedule showed that they open the shop at 8am. Throughout the night onto the early morning hours I called the telephone number of the business to try to get an emergency eyelash removal --sooner than 9am. I continued wash my eyes with water throughout the night and use paper towel to catch the drainage that continued. At around 6am on Monday, June 10th, I received a text message reply to my voice message and texts sent, telling me to go to Glow's Beauty Lounge's website to see their availability and to book an appointment online. Again, I replied and stressed that it was an emergency and that I may have to go to the ER if the lashes aren't removed immediately. About two hours later I received a second text message that stated that an employee will be at the salon by 9:15am. Again, I reminded the person who texted me that it was an emergency. I let the person know via text that I have been waiting at the salon (since 8am), but I received no reply. Since the middle of the night to early morning of Monday, a total of 7 calls were placed to the number of the person who texted me (the number listed on the website for the business). The phone continued to ring and then go to voice message. The employee, who I think has the name of Tammy, removed the lashes and my eyes are still swollen. She insisted that it's an allergic reaction to the glue. If that was the case, the last time they did my lashes with them, the same thing would have occurred. It didn't! Glow used to be a good place about 5 years ago. It has all went downhill starting with the customer service. The finished product of lash application and high turn over of employees. If you have questions they get annoyed they are inpatient and very rude. Facility isn't as clean and they have employees applying lashes without washing hands going from customer to customer. I came here because I stumbled across a Groupon for a 30 min back massage and foot massage! I also decided to try the mink eyelashes they offer. I started with the eyelashes. They were very accommodating and the table you lay on to get them done will put you to sleep. Lee is SO gentle and really takes her time to make sure every lash is perfect. She also offers advice that benefits YOU and not just her wallet. I was thinking about dramatic eyelashes over natural and she said I need to do natural because my eyelashes are already naturally beautiful. I really appreciated her honesty and that is hard to come across. Also, the owner Hannah is VERY sweet. She made sure I was happy with everything before I left. Kristin, the massage therapist is a lovely soul and she does an amazing job at relieving tension. Since I had just had my lashes done, she gave me a 60 minute foot massage with hot stone instead of the 30/30 combo for foot and back and it was amazing. She is awesome! I purchased an Groupon for a 60 minute foot massage here but really it's 50 minutes because 10 minutes is for soaking your feet in hot water. Glow Beauty Lounge have been opened for two years but because they are located in a plaza behind all the dealership, if you don't drive on that road, they are easy to miss. The massage: My massage therapist was really sweet and nice but she could have used a little more strength while working on my feet. I asked her for additional time on my neck because neck and back is included in the 50 minutes but she thought I meant additional time on top of the 50 minutes, she informed me that it's an additional 10$ for 10 minutes. I passed on that. Overall, Glow Beauty Lounge is nice and friendly. I would recommend if you are in the area and purchase a Groupon because it was only $17 for 50 minutes of foot massage. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I purchased a Groupon for this place. The reviews seems to be at the latter ends of the spectrum (either they're amazing, or they're awful). I decided to take a gamble. I called the day of (receptionist answered on the 1st ring!) and they thankfully had an opening. Glow is located in a rather unsuspecting strip mall. Plus? The parking was easy. Upon entry I was surprised at just how spa like the atmosphere was. Soft music,dim lighting with two small couches and a coffee table for the waiting area. I checked in with the receptionist and filled out a first time guest-receiving form (medical history etc.). I was promptly greeted by a polite man who led me back to a room with a few of those classic embroidered foot massage recliners. The room was dark and they had essential oils diffusing with spa music in the background. I sat down in the recliner and stuck my feet in the water. I was given a fleece blanket to cover myself, which I appreciate considering I was wearing shorts and your girls thighs are well...thick. The blanket provided peace of mind for me to be able to doze off during my massage. I soaked for about 10mins when my therapist came back in and started the massage. It was great! The pressure was great. Effective but not as rough as another place I've been too. The back massage was good too! The only thing is...it felt short. At first I thought it was because I was enjoying it so much and even starting to doze off. But after I paid (tipped) and walked out I looked at my phone and realized that I had been in there for less than an hour. My massage was supposed to be and hour total (30mins foot & 30 mins back). Minus the time it would have taken me to fill out the forms...something didn't add up. I went ahead and assumed that the foot soak took up ten minutes of the massage. Even then, it's off. By then I had already left and I wasn't going to go back in and ask for 5 minutes but... maybe it was because it was a groupon? There's a chance that if I had mentioned it they would have made it right. All in all, good service, nice environment I just wish half stars were a thing. read more

I went here a few years ago for my first set of eyelash extensions. It was before a vacation, so I was nervous to get them because I wasn't sure if they would look right on my face. The technician blew me away by giving me natural, comfortable lash extensions that lasted me about a month. I was extremely happy with the result. I decided to try some other places out mostly because I'm bad at sticking with one place. In my experiences, I did not found any place that even compares to the quality eyelashes I got here. I decided to come back here and was just as satisfied as the first time around, if not more. They look so natural and make me feel great. Not only is the place great, but the staff is incredible. Hannah was AWESOME. I was originally scheduled for a 3:00 appointment but she texted me telling me there was a cancellation and offered an earlier time. The earlier time actually worked better so I was able to get in and out early Sunday afternoon. She made me feel so comfortable, was really fast, AND did an incredible job. I didn't have Hannah my first time around but the results were just as great, so I assume their staff is generally efficient and talented. I highly recommend Glow Beauty Lounge and will be back many times more for my skin care and eyelash needs. read more

A month ago I went to the Glow lounge and Hannah used my eyebrows as a practice pad. When she was finish I came out looking like Bozo the clown. One of my brows was thick, out of shape and very dark. The other brow every time I look in the mirror I wonder what was she thinking . It is obvious she is very inexperienced I now have to pay a real experienced person to have them removed and done correctly. I really don't know if it is a language barrier or she just doesn't think she needs to listen to her customer. I specifically told her to make it look like the Lady in the poster up at the entrance. A very nice spa environment with lots of beauty products for sale. I prefer my massages to combine Swedish style long strokes with acupressure but my massage was almost 95 percent acupressure today. Not a bad massage at all just not my preference. Also perhaps the Buhi spots have ruined me but a nice cup of tea adds so much to the experience for a few pennies. I don't know why this lounge doesn't offer that. Also a tiny cup of water offered makes me wonder why they bother. I bring my own bottled water to my massages so it wasn't a huge deal. With some effort this place could be five stars for sure. Not worth going out of your way for. The lounge title connotes something special that I didn't find here. read more

I have waited on my review of this place for a little more than a month. I had a terrible experience my first time but I had bought 2 Groupons so I was going to give it one more try. I was excited about a place close to home. My excitement dwindled fast. When I arrived there was one client waiting and soon a man walked in with his suitcase. Suddenly everything was about this man. They have a very small sitting area that was now taken over by this man and his suitcase. They have a small sign that says no cell phones. I was called back into a room filled with lounge type chairs for a foot massage. The person giving the massage was fine and had strong hands which I like. The entire time all you could hear was this man in the front sitting area talking extremely loud on his phone the entire time. I could not relax at all! I heard his entire life story while he was on the phone. Towards the end of my massage I heard someone walking to the back and suddenly music came on. Now there is calming music with this loud man talking. Suddenly the women that was giving me a foot massage crawls on top of me and start pulling my arms and the whole thing was weird. It might have been okay if I could have relaxed at all!!! When I came out I complained and the girl at the front desk just said, "well, we have a sign that says no cell phones." If that is a rule why didn't you tell him to get off or go outside. It was terrible! You can hear everything that happens at the front desk. You hear Every call that comes with no chance of relaxing. The person at the front desk is also loud on the phone. So today I thought I would give them another chance. I called and she tells me that I can't use the Groupon because I have been there before. So, I'll have to stick with my first impression of this company. No second chance! I advise everyone to spend their money at a spa that cares about their clients and one that understands that most of us only get a few opportunities to truly unwind with a massage. A customers time should be respected and the atmosphere should be all about relaxation. Not a way to run a business! Not a way to run a spa! read more

Hannah is amazing with lashes!! Very calm and comforting every time I am there I never plan on taking a nap but I get so relaxed !!

I thought I would try this lash salon because of all the good reviews online but it ended up being such a terrible experience. I asked for a natural set and received a dramatic set. My lashes first of all were stinging through the process which can't be good for anybody. Second my lashes were so heavy my eyelid was drooping down. My eyes looked completely different than normal because of this. The lashes actually made me look bad. I called and they said they could take them off, thin them out or redo. I decided to take them off. There was no way I would let them trim the lashes with mine being under. Also, my lashes were so long they were touching my eyebrows!! The next day I woke up and my eyes were even swollen. I proceeded to get them off at the salon and apparently they don't do refunds ever. After receiving such horrible lashes I definitely would not want a redo at this salon. Thats how bad they looked. I will be looking for a more professional and reputable company (licensed esthetician). Cheaper is not always the answer people!! Would never ever recommend this place to anybody! read more

I've been having my lashes done here for the last year or so, along with facials. Hanna and Dahlia have always made me feel welcome with their friendly nature, knowledge and customer friendly treatment. I have been very pleased with all of the services. Prior to finding Glow I was having my lashes done at a lash chain in Buckhead near my office. Their technicians were on a tight time schedule and it was a much more clinical feel. It's not like that at Glow. My lashes stay on longer and the environment is relaxing and friendly. Hannah is a female entrepreneur who has built her business with hard work and a focus on what the customer wants. Glow recently moved to a new larger location in the same building. The staff and receptionist were extremely welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. However, we will never return to this business due to the atmosphere. Children were SCREAMING right next to the salon and running upstairs making the entire business shake, apparently this is a normal occurrence. My service was cut at least 10 minutes short for no apparent reason. The curtain do not block out any sunlight and the massage area is very bright and not relaxing whatsoever. I left with more stress than I arrived with. If the noise is an issue, it needs to be addressed, would not return. read more

I went there to get full set eye last extension on Sunday May 12, and I made appointment for the 4 weeks refill on June 11 since they were fully booked on the 9th. Then I got a call today said that it supposed to be 6 weeks not 4 weeks refill appointment. I just don't understand how I have to pay for 6 weeks refill when there is only 4 weeks and 1 day from May 12 to June 11. If it were possible to give a -1 I would. These people ruined the surprise I did for my husband. This was such a disappointing experience. Brought me to tears how awful the experience was. They advertised on Groupon for a $17 foot massage and tried to charge my husband extra money after the service was given. The owner even slammed her hand on the counter after I showed her proof of my payment. She was so hostile and upset that THEY made a mistake. They eventually gave me back the difference because I was minutes away from calling the cops. The receptionist stood up aggressively as if she were going to attack me. Luckily, my husband intervened because that would've been an awful attempt. I would've been the new owner of Glow massage in Buford, Ga. lol.
