I initially thought I would do the Natural Lashes which is what I've typically done with other lash technicians. The lady on the phone explained to me that the Natural Lashes are typically J curls and 11mm in length. Since I usually do C curls, she recommended the Glamour Lash Set instead. I paid a $30 deposit as this is a requirement in case you no-show or cancel within 24 hour notice and paid the remaining balance of $70 via Zelle after getting my lashes done. Note: if you pay with credit card, you will have taxes & fees added so make sure to bring cash or use Zelle. Also, tip is only via cash so come prepared. My lash technician, Lola, did a great job! My lashes have more volume and still look natural, but just more enhanced. She also has such a light touch (either that or I was super tired) because I definitely fell asleep for a bit. Noticed next AM at work, tech glued another set of clusters to my left eyelid. Texted Mirella requesting full refund as I now have to pay for removal by another salon as well a new set as obviously I have no further confidence in her or her lash technicians. Ocular sebaceous glands cant secrete as usual - again- because of poor application. But of course, you with your professional experience should be knowledgeable of that. I travel from Brooklyn to Queens for lash extensions. My first experience with Cozy this year was great, my cashmere lashes lasted at least 5 weeks even though I went to the beach and had gotten them wet/didn't take care of them. My next experience, I tried mink. I got a different tech and after two whole weeks, I barely have any left. Each day, so many lashes would fall off without my real lash hair attached, which means they probably didn't use enough glue or there was an issue with the glue that they used. Unfortunately, since these lash trips are quite the trek for me, I value consistency in all the techs. For Cozy to be a top tier lash place, all techs should have enough experience, so that even if I had to switch techs last minute, I would hope that whoever does it would produce the same results as long as they work for the same place. Cozy was really promising for me--it had every potential to be my go-to lash place. I hope that my honest review will have them consider making sure that their techs are consistently producing quality work, or for them to do quality checks on the glue that they use. Even though Cozy offered me a discount to get this fixed, which I highly appreciate, I just don't have the time to go back to them until 4 weeks later, when I expect to get a new set.
