Trust the process! I have had two appointments with Ant so far - nano brow & lip blushing. Her work is very technically clean & she works to get symmetrical results. In my experience I definitely needed a touch up since the lighter pigment faded significantly for me. The results are very natural and it's amazing to see the difference of where I am now versus where I started. For context, I have very sparse eyebrows that are lighter brown. Nano brow made a big difference! Ant also doesn't upsell. My lips were very chapped at the last appointment so she recommended I schedule another appointment to have them touched up at a later date, noting otherwise the color wouldn't last. Also as a FYI - follow the pre care instructions!! I did not and my first appointment was pretty painful and I had a bad reaction. Do not drink caffeine or take any blood thinners for DAYS before your appointment. It makes a huge difference! I had microblading done 4 years ago and haven't retouched it since then. Based off of what I wanted, Ant suggested I get a "combination" or microblading + ombré kind of tattoo. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze. They were able to answer all the questions I had and they were very prompt with their responses. I was able to do my consultation by sending them photos and giving them a background about myself and what I want for my tattoo. Ant is the best brow artist I've come across. I first came to her 8 years ago for my eyebrows and have been back a few times, most recently for lip blushing. I try to stop in whenever I am in NYC every few years to have her take a look and see if I am ready for anything yet (most of the time she advises me to wait longer!). Unfortunately, they have not faded like promised and have turned a grey/blue color that is hard to cover with makeup. I've never had anyone or anything do a great enough job that I would take the time to do a review. Until now. Ant is AMAZING! The price was definitely worth the amount of professionalism shown by Ant in her work and your surroundings. The studio is beautiful and professionally set up. I overcame cancer but was left with a huge scar in my left forehead. A dent you might say, it also scattered the hair follicles when healed. Making an eyebrow was painstaking. And getting them even, FORGET ABOUT IT! Ant took so much time to make sure she could get them as even as possible and looking as natural as possible. At one point I started feeling guilty for the time I was taking. But Ant made me feel comfortable through the whole experience. I have fibromyalgia as a side effect from an accident being thrown from my horse at work. I had been psyching myself up all week to get into a rhythm with the pain. Almost like a tattoo. I thought it would feel like eyebrow threading, which I find torture! With the numbing gel you don't feel anything, at some points I was actually falling asleep. The environment is crisp and clean, if she sees by your skin that you're getting hot she turns the air conditioner on... For us ladies 50 and older this is a must..lol her chair is amazing, comfortable and cozy. And believe me I am one of the pickiest people in the world. I don't mean to be, but I'm a perfectionist. Everything I do I feel it's reflection of who I am, my characters. So I always do 110%. I'm happy to say this eyebrow studio gives a 120% I'm now we're covering three days & Ant did such a amazing job I don't have not one scab. Everything is smooth and wonderful! Part of doing 120% is to follow up instructions and kit. She leaves nothing to Guests work, writing everything down that you should do as well is supplying you with all the materials. I would not put my picture on my own social media right now, I'm taking this year to come back from all this sickness. But I really feel Ant works so hard to do such a Beautiful job that I know I have to make sure I show people. She changed the entire look of my face for the better. And believe me anyone who is going through sickness or injury to the face you have no idea how it wears on you. I made an appointment with Cartoon. She's the sweetest and she knows what she's doing. She suggested to do microshading instead of microbladjng since my hair is so thin. The place is very clean and they give you a new mask once they're ready for you. For The first session, she had asked me what color do I usually use when I pencil in my brows. I usually use taupe so she used taupe to shade in my brows. She even asked if the color was ok before she started. The second time I came back, I had asked her to use a shade darker and it looks better than ever. I love it! She told me to come back in 1.5-2 years for a touch up. Can't recommend enough!! Ant changed my life (not being dramatic). Drawing on eyebrows and dealing with having no eyebrow hair is the worst. I'm not very good with makeup or eyebrow pencil technology, so I'd spend at least 5 minutes every morning trying to draw them on to even resemble each other. I started researching and found Ellebrow. I was still nervous (even with a five star review from everyone) but decided to make an appointment and am so happy I did. Ant is amazing. VERY meticulous, VERY detail oriented, not pushy at all but gently persuaded me to the perfect color, size and shape for my eyebrows (I was really reluctant to go dark or do too much as I didn't want it to be obvious). I can seriously not imagine a life without my micro bladed eyebrows and I'll never go back! Took 3ish days to heal, wasn't too crazy obvious at work (though it was darker during that healing process). After the touch-up, I had strangers compliment my eyebrows. We have masks on so now more than ever, the eyebrow game needs to be strong.
