Recently, I got a regular pedicure, which was truly not a pedicure but rather just a toenail painting. I expected that the pedicure would include some sort of cleanup of the feet (using a pumice sponge/ stone & a callous shaver), as a basic pedicure often does, but I was disappointed. All the nail tech did was just put an exfoliating scrub on my feet and lotion on top, not ever going over my feet with any scrubbing sponge/ tool. I understand that there are more services involved in the more deluxe pedicures, however, in the nail salons that I have been to, a classic pedicure usually includes a simple cleanup/ care of the foot. The nail polish looked very nice and was thorough, however, if I had known that I was going to spend $30 for him to only put nail polish and lotion on my feet, I would have rather gladly done it myself. Additionally, when I paid in cash for the service, I had asked for the cash back to be in 2 smaller bills, and when the tech handed the money back he kept one of the bills for himself. I was going to tip him with one of the bills plus an additional few dollars anyway, but since I had not told him to keep that specific change, I found it odd that he immediately just took one of the bills without asking. I still tipped 20% even though I found the service to be disappointing, but honestly I thought it was very rude of him to assume.

Then came to the types and colors. I chose a glitter silver for 2fingers and chrome silver for the 3. Running out of time, somehow i got silver gel and not chrome. Chrome has a different process. I didnt insist to get that even though i was willing to pay a little more (it is) for this finish. I have had chrome finishes a few times at other nail salons. The curing lamp was burning hot and a few times i had to remove my fingers. Joy was a nice young woman and works Saturdays only. The dude owner has his mom do pedicures during my time there. The set up is neater and spacious now compared to when it was J J's. He didnt add the 3percent to my charge card so i wonder if this is their norm for now.

The staff was literally so sweet, so kind, treated my grandma so gently. So patient. They did sincerely wonderful work. But everything needs to be DEEP cleaned in there. I called several hours before the appt to inquire if I could add on an eyebrow wax. I was told "yes, just come in half an hour early". So I did. When I came in, I told them I had an appointment with Tony and I reminded them that had said it was fine to add on a wax. I was told to sit for my mani. Not with Tony btw. I told the man I wanted a silver mirror style dip but did not want to use the nail UV lamp. He told me that was fine but they didn't carry the mirror polish and showed me my options. It came pretty close so that was fine. The UV lamp was used the entire appointment. I just kept quiet. My cuticles were never touched and the polish does not go all the way down to my nail bed. I didn't even realize my cuticles weren't touched until I got home, washed the oil off my hands and really saw my nails. When my mani was done, I was told to go to the wax room where I stood there and waited for almost 15 minutes. It was around this time I was asked, no less then five times, if I had an appointment. Weird. WHY have an appointment portal on your website if you don't look at it? I wasn't asked one time for my name, what my appt was for and for what time. When you walk in, they either know you and what you want or ask and then tell you to sit and wait. The eyebrow wax was fine. Not bad, not great. However I had no privacy. People who were getting pedicures watched me the whole time. In 30 years of getting my eyebrows waxed, I have always had a private room with the door closed. Also, the room was filthy. The whole place is filthy. I do not believe for a minute, that the sterile techniques here are true and accurate, according to legal standards. User beware. The pedicure was fine. Again, NOT with Tony btw. I asked them to explain the highest cost procedure that includes: "Unique feet soak in the detox crystals in a CBD volcano eruption." I never understood the answer. I will not be back. Not only did they not know I had a reservation, I was questioned multiple times about it during my appointment. I did not see who I had made the appointment with. The place is filthy. If I wasn't leaving for my vaca early the next morning, I would left. The whole check out procedure is weird, wanting me to use Zelle. Which was a whole issue itself and ended up not working for me. I will say the place was packed. People coming and going the whole time I was there. They must be good at acrylics, with Tony apparently. I don't do those however.
