I booked a couples RMT massage, but unfortunately we had to be in different rooms. It was almost like we were in the same rooms though, because I could hear everything going on in his room next door. The rooms are not sound proof at all, which means you can hear the conversations next door, the loud bangs from the gym upstairs and the car alarms going off outside. When we first arrived, we had the option of leaving the jackets with front desk and were offered a drink and cookies, which is why why this review isn't a 2 star. Lily was our receptionist and she was very friendly! My massage was ok. I had Angelina,and she was friendly but her pressure was inconsistent. She also wasn't able to proactively find my knots to concentrate on them. What bothered me most was that she was at least 5mins short of my 45mins massage, so I basically lost over $12 given that massages at hotels are so expensive. The perk is that you can use their gym if you get a service with glow. But given my experience this time, it's unlikely that I'll be coming back. read more

Hidden inside the Hilton hotel - Glow medi spa offers many services and the one I have been going for has been their Laser Tattoo Removal with their Pico laser. The pico laser is a known in the laser tattoo removal world to have more advanced as well as stronger settings to work most effectively to remove tattoos. I've gotten tattoo removal services from other places but the effectiveness of their machines no longer worked on what remains of my tattoo (which was about 75% of original) so I sought out a Pico laser and luckily stumbled upon this place. Service and professionalism is top notch from the moment you enter the facility and Amy has been my Esthetician to help me with my tattoo for the 3 sessions I have had so far. She has consistently been amazing! Friendly, personable, knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease. I'm looking forward to my remaining sessions for my tattoo removal - I am down to less than 15% of the original so there may not be many left ! read more

I was searching online last night and type in "hotel-spa" and I came across "glow Medi spa" by Hilton hotel on Markham and Hwy 7. I looked at their pictures online and it seems pretty neat and the price is decent. So, this morning I called them and thankfully they have availability for today!!! I was delighted. The receptionist Amanda was great, friendly and provided detailed information about their services and also very accommodating too. As I arrived for my appointment I realized that this location is only minutes away from where I work, which is AWESOME! While filling out the paper work I had asked Amanda about their RMT team. I have issues with hygiene and cleanliness and Amanda didn't disappointment me about the professionalism, cleanliness of their environment and team member. Ellen the RMT who service me was very professional and focus on her task,which is to make me feel relax and unknot those knots on my back! My entire experience with Glow was phenomenal and I will definitely come back and refer them to anyone who's looking for a pleasant place to get some "me time". I had my treatment at the Glow peel boutique (early mother's day gift ). It was such a treat. After the warm reception at the main office, I was brought to another area and offered a beverage as they took my coat. It is a sparkling, pristine, bright and fresh looking space. After I filled out some forms, Lily reviewed them then analyzed my skin. To start with, I was shocked at how much sun damage is hiding under my seemingly freckle free face - signs of things to come I suppose. Also, the magnified mirror made it clear that my skin needs more care than I have been giving it. Lily proceeded to treat my face with cleanser, a mask and then the chemical peel which I admit I was scared of but she told me what it would feel like, it was true that it tingled and did not burn like I expected. Each stage took about 7 minutes. She applied another solution to neutralize the peel, some other steps I don't remember and applied sunscreen at the end. My skin was literally glowing and dewy afterward. She made some recommendations for products which I decided to splurge on since my skin and pores clog easily. As well I basically have zero facial care routine except for sunscreen. I am looking forward to seeing how my skin will be in these coming months with a 5 minute daily cleansing routine. I can see myself returning here for a quick treatment to freshen up as well. Hopefully the combination of both home skincare and these visits will refresh my skin to look dewy all the time. I went to the recently opened location in Markham. I was a regular customer at Eforea, the spa that closed and Glow took over. I honestly miss Eforea. I had the dry pedicure at Glow. I really liked the cleanliness of the pedicure tools and the work station. However, my nails were not painted very well. They look like a DIY job that I could have done myself.
