The gentleman greeted me was sitting in the very back of the nail salon looking at his cell phone. I waited for him to come to the front, and I don't know - I picked up a non-welcoming, tense vibe. I explained I only needed a pedi, regular polish. He pointed and said pick a color. But not all the colors were standard, some were gel and powder so I asked him which ones were regular. He sort of just pointed in the general area to pick a color. So I did. I had two nail techs. One did the polish removal while the other lady was finishing up and put me in the foot soaker. The other lady did the rest of my pedi. They were both very nice and friendly. I had nice conversation with one of them and that made the pedi experience a positive one. I went to pay and mentioned to the nail tech, wow, those glitter colors over there are so nice, I wish they were regular polish. She said they are regular. So I said, but the guy said I could only pick from there (a certain area). So she showed me all the colors I could select from on two different walls and a whole other wall in the back. So I said he did a poor job explaining. He walked up for something and I said you only told me these were the colors, I wish you had told me about all the other ones. His response was, "Next time. You'll be back," and sort of walked to the back again. In a day where there is a nail salon on literally every other block, in every strip mall - one can't be so assuming the customer will be back. With that sort of arrogant response, I will not be back unless there's different manament. That guy was not welcoming in an atmosphere that is all about relaxation.

Due to some miscommunication on the appointment start time, I was rebooked to a later slot but was not informed of a service change (basic to hard gel manicure) nor the technician change (master to junior). The application of the gel was very thick due the junior technician's skill set. A master level tech tried to fix my nails and I got cut twice during the rushed processed. I was not asked about what shape I wanted my nails. They came out uneven and sloppy. I spent 2.5 hours getting a manicure done with nails I was very unhappy with. At the end, the manicure was discounted a little but I'm still upset I was asked to pay at all. Although I expressed my discontent, I was dismissed with excuses. Sadly I will not be returning due to the overall poor customer service. I expected proactive communication on the technician assignment and service change, as well as stronger customer support in resolving the issues.

They look so clean and put together and they never lift or chip. Russian hard gel is the way to go if you want great durability. I wash my hands sometimes 50 times a day at my job and my nails can last 5-6 weeks. Natalia and Lana are my personal favorites but the whole staff does excellent work. The quality of service has become worse and so did the customer service. Here is my experience for my last 3 visits in the past 3 months: -it takes 6 weeks to get an appointment with 50% deposit upfront. They have a stringent cancellation policy which I understand, only if they were respectful for the client's time as much as theirs. They often change it last minute from their end and don't give much flexibility for people who did the due diligence to get appointment early. -past 3 times I was there, they refuse any additional service citing "I don't have time". They won't fix one broken nail or make one design that customer requests. I wait that long and pay more to get the nail I want. -quality of service has gotten worse. Technicians are not as skillful as they once were and so aggressive. Past 3 times I was there all with different people I came out with at least 3 nail bleeding and hurting for several days. The last time it was even worse it's a deep cut! This is what really pushed me over the edge! All of this while raising the price by $10 and literally charging extra for every bit of service. I'm sad I have to find a new salon but I'm giving up.
