This place is located inside the Girl on the Go Spa in Golden Hill. There's plenty of parking and I never have issues finding a place to park for my appointments. Ariel is such a wonderful, vivacious, and bubbly businesswoman. She runs Bloom Sugaring all on her own and is a complete badass. Her comforting personality definitely makes each appointment more like a catch up with a friend while simultaneously sugaring hair off ALL parts of my body, haha. For new clients, Ariel is very knowledgeable about her craft and has no problem educating and answering any questions. Ariel is great with all of her clients, new and returning. The types of sugaring services I've gotten here are: Brazilian, under arms, half arms, and sometimes eyebrows or lip. Naturally, the Brazilian hurts the most while under arms hurt the least (for me). I've never gotten a wax before aside from my eyebrows and lip, but I couldn't imagine getting a waxed Brazilian; a sugared one is very tolerable! Ariel is quick with her sugar flicks and quick to apply pressure to prevent any pain; I've never had any issues with pain during or after appointments. I originally started getting Brazilians monthly, but over time I've been able to go as long as 2 months in between appointments! I've come to discover that 6 weeks is my sweet spot. After getting sugared for 2yrs, I've noticed that my hair is coming in thinner and more sparse. I always leave feeling smooth and soft with the results lasting for several weeks. Sugaring works, y'all! Girl on the Go Spa is very clean and tidy, and Bloom Sugaring continues that vibe. Ariel has done an amazing job at creating a comfortable and inviting space. Whenever I come in for my appointments, I really feel like I'm giving myself some well deserved time for self care. There's usually vibe-y music playing with some lit candles, and Ariel ALWAYS has fresh flowers on deck (she puts the "bloom" in Bloom Sugaring). There are also drawings she created hung up on 1 wall and shelves with her products she recommends on another. Next time I come here, I'll make sure to post pictures!
