He's super reliable, extremely responsive, and gives fair prices (typically below the costs quoted by other plumbers). I actually put his info on my company's message boards for colleagues in the area to call :) Today he came out for an emergency visit (yet another surprise sewage backup into the house, so gross) and was promptly here at 8 am on a Sunday. Did the job in under an hour and showed me the pipes on the camera to indicate where the major root buildup was. The 1 star reviews really surprise me - to anyone shopping around, do NOT look elsewhere. Broc is 10000% your guy.

When I said no one had taken my information she did proceed but quickly told me the plumbers couldn't help because they don't clear gutters. I explained the clogged drain has nothing to do with a gutter and she tried to say they don't clean drains. It was if they looked for every opportunity to find an excuse not to help. The clogged drain does not need to be cleaned as it is in a standing clean pool of water, but I suspect it needs to be snaked. Terrible to waste so much time not to be helped.

We originally reached out to Gopher (Gopher and Acosta are known as the top 2 companies in the area), but Gopher's customer service was awful... they couldn't answer any of our questions and were not friendly at all. Then we called Acosta & Sons - Marisol answered right away and she was beyond helpful/knowledgeable. She helped us find out more about our septic system (which no one knew existed for 20+ years) and explained everything to us in detail. We had our inspection today (led by Bernie) - Bernie was so helpful communicating with me and the listing agent to address any digging concerns, and he also answered all of our questions throughout the inspection. They repaired a lot of old poorly done work, and were very thorough. When I recently experienced a drain clog in the shower, I called another local plumber because they advertised a drain snaking special. Not only was that bait and switch (only if they can clean the drain from the cleanout only, which is unlikely with a shower), that plumber came out, told me they could've done the job cheaper, and then failed to be able to fix the clog. I called yesterday, and Brandon from Flood Brothers came today, put five minutes of hard work and elbow grease in and figured it out and fixed the problem. It was just a giant hair clog! They stand behind their work, and I will have them back to finish the rest of the plumbing updates to my home.
