    Bratwurst dinner

very good meal! First meal in Vienna and the ambiance is gorgeous! We were sat without a reservation in the upstairs portion right by the window. I ordered the burger and it was very tasty and different from all the other food, my only complaint is that the brioche bun was overcooked and it made it a little more tough but otherwise everything else was fantastic. I wish I would have ordered the chicken curry!!! Very very delicious and great flavor from the vegetables and cashew, I highly recommend. Overall very happy and recommend!

delicious restaurant located near the state opera house! they have both indoor and outdoor seating, with a large 2nd floor. service was fast and friendly, and the food came out quickly. the burger was very juicy and the salad was refreshing! would definitely come back here and fairly priced as well.

Great hamburger and my husband enjoyed his sausage. He liked the sauerkraut the most. Service was on par and it was nice to sit outside. The iced tea was really good!!

Summary: Food was okay. The cocktail was terrible. Service was fine. Centrally located to tourist attractions like the Albertina. In general, Restaurant Führich seems to have a problem with inaccurate descriptions of their menu items. I ordered a large appetizer of beef tartare from free-range cattle with truffle butter, quail egg, caper berries, red onion rings and toasted focaccia. When I got the dish, I was surprised to see that the egg was hard-boiled rather than raw. Although it tasted fine, the beef tartare had been ground to a mushy pulp and no longer had much texture. Otherwise, the dish was fine; the bread was well-toasted and had a good texture -- although it wasn't focaccia as described on the menu. 3 stars (€16.80 in July 2021) I also ordered a melon white wine spritzer with fresh lime & basil. According to the menu, it had "watermelon juice" in it. However, the drink I received didn't have any actual watermelon juice; instead, it tasted strongly like artificial watermelon flavour. It did not taste good and I would not recommend it at all. 0 stars. (€5.90 in July 2021) Service was fine.

I was taking our group of four elsewhere expecting Führick to be busy but a 7P start to the opera afforded us an early (5P) dinner without a reservation! We were promptly seating with a warning the table was reserved at 7P. Within man hour the restaurant had filled! Service was excellent and food and drinks were quickly served. Our waitress was very good with helping with wine and beer selection. Between the four of us we had bratwurst and veal weinerschnitzel. We are quite new to Austrian fair so comparison would be difficult nonetheless we found everything delicious. We ended with a shared strudel, also delicious swimming in a vanilla sauce. I'm so glad to have stumbled upon Führick!

Literally amazing. I can't even explain. We had private seating and it was to die for! The salad, the chicken, the schnitzel all of it was OUT OF THIS WORLD! We were so stuffed. I think this is my fav restaurant in Vienna

On our last night in Vienna, we just walked around and looked at places that looked cool from the outside and this won. Great outdoor patio right off the Opera House but yet still quiet and classy. Got a great booth and immediately felt at home. A glass of wine or two and we really felt at home! The service was easy and perfect. We were told it's been in business for 24 years and there is a good reason. It's great! Asparagus soup to start (fantastic and different) and I had my last AND BEST schnitzel of the trip. Light and almost tempura like. But perfect. My wife had a dish of noodles and diced ham that I would have traded for. It was so different yet wildly familiar. Comfort food at its best. This place was a gem and I'm so glad we found it!

Typical food presented in an upscale, creative and the flavor was incredible! Highly recommend! The gf gnocchi was flavorful.

Enjoyable meal before attending the Officers Ball in Wien. I had the gf gnocchi in a tomato sauce with fresh basil. It was tasty. My partner had a meat option and found it delicious! Wine was tasty and his local beer paired nicely. Highly recommend this for a casual to dine dining location!

Pleasant dinner during our first night in Vienna! We came here at 5 pm without a reservation and the host thankfully said that we could dine within a 2 hour window. Schnitzel - classic Austrian dish. The skin was nice and crispy, albeit a bit puffed up in some areas, and it came with a side salad. Blood sausage - My personal favorite. I previously thought blood sausage was mostly prevalent in the UK, but there's also a German/Austrian variation known as Blunzngrostl. This came with steamed potatoes and sauerkraut. The taste was savory and had a soft but granular texture compared to the British counterpart. Goulash - Decent amount of beef chunks and plenty of gravy (very salty) to apply the bread dumplings with. The ambiance of the room is a bit more upscale with dim lighting and dark wood walls. Fuhrich also has an outdoor wine garden for warmer seasonal dining. I

Found this cozy spot a few blocks off the Stadtpark and figured I'd give it a shot. So glad I did. it was pretty packed when we got ther, we were able to get a high top table after just a few minutes wait. Ordered the beef tartare and schnitzel. Be forewarned, they don't skimp on the portions here. The tartare was delicious and came with a salad and about a half of stick of butter, which was interesting. Schnitzel was big enough to feed at least two people and left me feeling like I had finally experienced a real local meal. Wine was also great and made me wish I could have stayed there drinking it all night. But alas, I had an early flight to catch the next day...

Quite tight seating. Restrooms are not accessible by people with limited mobility. No baby changing stations. The food is okay. The schnitzel was fine and so was lamb. Okay to eat but not memorable. Caprese salad was tasty. In conclusion, if you are passing by and hungry, feel free to stop by. If you are looking for a memorable lunch/dinner experience, plan to visit a different establishment.

Menus and bread serving arrived. $4.80 per person. Oh well. We decided to share and we selected the white asparagus with a tomato and egg relish with a vinaigrette and an Order of Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad and lingonberries. Our food arrived very quick. Both dishes quite good. Not the best we have experienced in Vienna and not the worst. - Wiener Schnitzel: best one of the week. It was thin as it should be and not greasy at all. Wish it had been cooked with a little seasoning. Salt and fresh lemon solved that problem. 4/5 - Potato Salad: excellent. Almost addictive. Loved the fresh mache and pumpkin seed oil on it. 5/5 - Cranberry Sauce: or as I call it lingonberry sauce. Average. Tasted like out of a jar. But good. 4/5 - White Asparagus: served with a tomato herb vinaigrette with chopped egg. Wish the asparagus had been served warm then topped with the vinaigrette. Would made the dish pop. Very good. 4/5 - Atmosphere: Outside was glorious. Area was spacious. 5/5 - Service: waiter was abrupt and would disappear for lengthy times. Must have been really busy inside. 3/5 - Value: somewhat overpriced. Think the mandatory $4.80 bread service per person put it over the top. I expected outstanding bread and got a very small serving of bread and a pad of butter with a couple of tablespoons of a herb mixture.

We showed up with my mom's little mobility scooter, and the bartender came out and helped me get it inside over the little step. They were very kind about helping us find somewhere to put it that it was out of the way. Atmosphere was lively, and I enjoyed the interior of the restaurant. It was much nicer than it looked from the outside! They had an ever dining area that was a little bit on the trendy side, and the lower dining area and bar was a bit more classy. Our server, Issa, was extremely kind and patient. My mom is not much of an adventurous eater, and she was being quite picky and asking a lot of questions and he never seemed bothered by it. He also listened to her explanation of what she wanted in a coffee and he made her coffee the way she likes. In Vienna, everything is espresso based and my mom just does not care for the taste. She likes something a bit more mild, and Issa delivered. When my eggs Benedict came out I wasn't particularly impressed by the looks of it, but the taste was amazing. The hollandaise sauce was so rich and creamy, and they were a little buttery, crunchy chunks of bread, I guess like croutons, sprinkled over the sauce. Get in my belly! The muffin that the Benedict was on was delicious as well. We both had fresh squeezed orange juice that was also outstanding. 100% make sure you come here for breakfast if you're staying in Vienna!
