Probably the best GNC I've ever been to! Jeff, the owner, runs a great business. The store is clean and brightly lit. His customer service is top-notch. His employees will definitely take care of you. Disregard any negative reviews about this store. My experience was 150%, and I definitely recommend coming here. We're 30 minutes away, but will make a strong effort to return. From an inventory perspective, they're well stocked, and when I walked in, I didn't realize the variety of supplements and drinks that exist because most places carry the bare minimum! I just left this location with my husband. Upon walking in the manager, John, greeted us right away and asked if he could help us find anything. As soon as I explained the protein supplement I needed, he grabbed it off the shelf for me right away, and didn't try to upsell me which was nice and took the pressure off of shopping around after. My husband made a comment on the price difference between the Total War preworkout on their shelf versus what is sold at a competitor and John provided intelligent feedback on why that might be and went above and beyond to check the product details and what ingredients might be adjusted for them to sell it as a smaller margin. Upon finding out the ingredients were the same, John offered a deal and provided amazing customer service, which is why we will continue to drive the distance from Montgomery to this location for our supplements in the future!! I am updating my review due to extreme changes that seem to have taken place at this locally owned GNC. I previously had issues with an employee at this location in regards to their attitude and outright lies being told to customers. However I have had numerous visits as of late and it seems the negative staff members have been removed from this location. Throughout my past couple visits I have been greeted professionally, given reasonable advice and carried on decent conversations with staff members. The shelves were stocked and all products I sought out were readily available. The manger/owner was extremely courteous and friendly. He truly cares about his business and takes all reviews very seriously. I am grateful for his attention to correcting previous issues and effort to make his business above reproach. These guys are very knowledgeable about their products, but what was really surprising was the level of passion they brought to my experience. High energy, but kept it friendly and helped find a product to meet my needs. They also said they do internet price matching, so that's huge as well. I decided my admittedly spoiled dog should have human food-grade fish oil rather than that stuff they sell at the pet stores, because who knows what goes into that, or how long it's been sitting on the store shelf, right?
