Pricing shown on shelves was 44.99 When I went to purchase it rung up at 98.00 When I pointed out the pricing on the shelf, I was told that the shelves were for vitamins, but apparently someone had moved the vitamins off the shelf. Pretty hilarious if you ask me! I told them that this is a very misleading and bad way to do business and that they should post the actual price. They were not very concerned.

This location is inside the Otay Ranch Mall and is near the corner next to Planet Fitness. Parking is reasonable, but a little tricky. You'll be lucky to get a spot in front when it's busy. Once inside you are quickly greeted by the staff and they are very helpful with any questions you have. I go here regularly and decided to go with the Pro Membership, which has its perks and gives me great deals. So if you are looking for great supplements for a reasonable price than GNC is a great place to go!

I usually come here for last minute needs since it's close to the house. The staff is always professional and ready to answer questions and give recommendations. I came in yesterday to get recommendation for a new pre-workout and was recommended the Juicy Peach Alani pre-workout. It's actually pretty good. The store is kept clean and organized. Close by parking can be a challenge since it's at the Otay Ranch mall and it's nearby a few gyms (Club Pilate, Title boxing, Planet fitness, etc).

It's 11:23 and the store is closed. This is the 2nd time I've come during posted store hours and it's closed. Completely unsat. This location is closest to the house so I try and shop here to support, but will be the last time

Got there 45 minutes before closing and they were already locking up, I'd understand 15 minutes early but 45 minutes is kind of insane.

When I spoke to the manager about their process I asked why they couldn't manually put my birthday in, she said, "no they have to scan it so they can make sure it's not expired." If you're looking for the best supplement store in Chula Vista, this is it, no question…read more I've tried multiple supplement shops around Chula Vista and San Diego, and most of them feel the same overpriced products, basic advice, and employees just trying to make a sale. South Bay Supps is completely different. This is the only supplement store near me where I actually trust the recommendations. Whether you're looking for protein powder, pre-workout, fat burners, recovery supplements, or even guidance on performance and cycle support, he takes the time to explain what actually works and what doesn't. For anyone new to fitness, this is hands down one of the best places to start. He'll walk you through exactly what supplements you need and help you avoid wasting money on things you don't. For experienced lifters or bodybuilders, this is where it separates itself from every other fitness supplement store in San Diego. The level of knowledge goes beyond basic products, he understands performance, recovery, and how to actually optimize your results. I've gone in thinking I needed a full stack, and instead of upselling me, he told me what to cut out and why. That level of honesty is rare in this industry. Every time I leave, I feel more dialed in and confident in what I'm taking. On top of that, the customer service is always top tier friendly, welcoming, and no pressure at all. He also supports the military, which I respect a lot. I recommend South Bay Supps to anyone in Chula Vista, San Diego, or anyone searching for a reliable supplement store nearby. If you're serious about your fitness goals and want real guidance, this is the place to go.

BEST selection in Gaslamp for any food need. I was genuinely disappointed by my recent visit to Krisp on Market Street…read more I live out of state and hadn't been back to San Diego in four years. While in town to catch a Padres game and visit a friend, one of the places I was most looking forward to visiting was RoVino The Foodery, which had always been one of my favorite Italian markets in San Diego. I was shocked and saddened to discover it was gone and had been replaced by Krisp. I went in hoping that, despite the name change, the warm atmosphere, selection, and customer experience I remembered would still be there. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The young woman at the register was friendly and welcomed me when I walked in, which I appreciated. However, the rest of my experience was disappointing. There were three men working on the sales floor, and none of them acknowledged me, greeted me, or offered to help. My presence seemed to inconvenience them more than anything. The store also felt very different from what I remembered. It no longer has the bright, welcoming atmosphere that made RoVino such a special place. Instead, it felt cold, uninviting and the prices were shockingly high! I ended up leaving without buying anything. It's always sad to see a beloved local business disappear, but it's even more disappointing when the business that replaces it doesn't provide the same level of hospitality or customer experience.
