I got my food order ready and picked up before GNC opened up. Who ever is reviewing your Yelp reviews should find out what's going on with the closing shift on Saturdays and check on your workers. Would have been nice to have a note on the side from the employee noting they either are not in store or won't be returning. I called the store 6 times as well to try and see if someone was in the back or maybe sleeping and could possibly wake up from the store phone. Any way, next GNC it is. Great customer service and selection of products here. Came in here for some supplements that my friend had recommended me. Marcellus helped me out with finding supplements that would better fit my goals and my needs. When he came up to me recommending stuff I definitely had the thought in my head that I was gonna spend twice my budget that I had set for the supplements that my friend recommended but Marcellus helped me come out spending less than I expected and was able to get everything I needed. Gnc in the Kapolei shopping center, next to game stop..this one is my favorite one, the manager is always so friendly and welcoming, always got good music playing and she fills the store with awesome scents from the oils they have for sell there. Not the biggest store but they make use of the small space and have a great selection of what's popular and always have good sells, I got zoa energy drinks for half price because it was gonna expire, but not for another 6 months. There are GNCs everywhere. They are located at the Kapolei Marketplace by Longs Drugs, Loco Moco, and Sushi Bay! there is a lot of parking, but afternoon rush hour makes it hard to park sometimes. This location is my favorite one! Let us review the evidence to why shall we! Exhibit 1: Staff The staff here know there stuff. In fact its probably one of the rare GNCs where the staff works out and use the products. They also know the workout partner and I pretty well. Honestly it's hard to forget the couple that cleans out the shelf of all their maple pumpkin power muffins. No matter who is there (Olu, Tj etc....) , they are able to help us with any questions about the products. What makes the staff different is they want to help you NOT try to sell you the products just because. Many of the other locations I come across salespeople who try to get me to buy vitamins and and upgrade to PRO membership; all I came for was for a protein bar. No thank you. and THAT is why I love this location. There is no pressure to buy useless things, just what I want to buy. Exhibit 2: Product Availability They usually have my favorite protein bars, protein powders and supplements. They Have Dymatize, Quest, Promax, Oh yeahs, Muscle Pharm and others. They have vegan protein products too! Exhibit 3: Savings If you buy as much products as I do, you definitely be racking $20 off certificated as a GNC member. Double that in with Ebates, you'd also be getting cash back for in store and online purchases. cha ching! money saver! They also have specials, which is a good time to take advantage of their products. Location: They are located in the Kapolei Shopping Center next to Game Stop and Sushi Bay. There is a lot of parking in this shopping center. Merchandise: They have a large selection of vitamins, supplements, protein powders, protein bars and protein drinks. I came here looking for a specific product that they had on hand: Cookies and Cream Quest Bar! This flavor is hard to find and I'm so glad I found it here. They also have other Quest Bar flavors I never saw before. I made sure I bought a bunch of this yummy product. Specials: I assume specials vary every month or so. There is a special for protein bars; Buy 3, Get 1 Free. I was able to get 4 Quest Bars for less than $10. GNC Card: They offer a discount card for $15 a year. Products can be $0.50 cheaper or more with the GNC card. I opt out of the card for now since the only thing I buy from here are Quest Bars and there current special makes a box of 12 Quest bars cheaper than the discount GNC price. Customer Service: I received awesome customer service from a young lady who was very friendly and helpful. Overall, this GNC will be my "go to" store for my beloved Cookies and Cream Quest Bar. They get shipment every Friday so if you don't see what your looking for, it should be there on shipment day. read more

Horrendous customer service have shopped at GNC many times and this manager denied me from browsing the wares and rudely asked me to leave singling me out when I wanted to look at the discount section saying I always come there and never make purchases which is ridiculous as I haven't entered the store more then twice in the past two years. I grew up going to this kapolei GNC and was never treated so rudely as this. Actually called ahead to see if they had Alani nu shakes in stock and talked to Ren. She was super sweet and helpful and also assisted me in store. GNC was having a summer BOGO 1/2 off sale so she helped me stock up on shakes and also let me use coupons on top of the sale. In addition she even opened the door for me (difficult carrying two boxes of shakes)! I've been here on other occasions and the sales associates have always been super friendly helpful and quick to get you on your way. Never had a bad experience here! read more

Today arrived at gnc Kapolei and had my back up boys with me . A former nfl running back and current high school coach with his PhD. I wanted them to help me with choosing a product for my son for his training. We had an encounter with Annabella the customer service rep. Slash nutrition expert. We bombarded her with all kinds of questions and she teach us a thing or two . She didn't even flinch, she was so confident and poise . I stop asking tricky questions and started just letting her school me lol. Man this young woman will be a big someone one day. She won my trust with her vast knowledge my respect with her confident demeanor and my loyalty with her honesty. I would recommend anyone who would like to get health or get the right knowledge about a product go see Annabelle at gnc . One warning gone in there ready to learn no need no back up waste of time. I've been a loyal customer of GNC for many many years. And EVERYTIME I leave the store I spend at least $100. Less then two weeks ago I spent about $175. And received a coupon. And today I spent about $125. As soon as ASSISTANT MANAGER QUINTON rang me up... I remembered my coupon for $25. I asked if he'd honor it and he said NO. Honestly, it was seconds after purchasing. I didn't even leave the counter. And he couldn't honor it??? Poor customer service. He was on his personal phone when I got in. He seemed bothered when I was inquiring about new items. Went in to find supplements to assist in my weight loss. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a guy named TJ who was extremely knowledgeable and made me instantly confident in his ability to lead me in the right direction. He seems to have tried a lot of items in the store and was able to give me his personal experience of what worked for him and what didn't. So I came to do my monthly shopping as usual for vitamins. And as usual staff was very knowledgeable on the items and have even tried many products the self to be able to tell you what they ate like. But they didn't have an item in stock and for the first time ever I was told that they mail the items to our home from the warehouse for free. I have never been told this before and yes I have had this happen before. Young lady was very helpful and sure enough I got my delivery 4 days later. That will definitely keep me as a loyal customer. Took my son to buy a protein drink to start taking. Employee at the time was busy helping other customers. We were with a friend that works at another GNC so she helped us pick one out. We got to the register OLU helped us. He was very friendly, helpful and informative. Went to this store on July 7, 2013. The clerk was helpful and a pro at the upsale. Most of the products I bought were fine. I had an issue with 1 product and contacted the store to ask about returns. Informed that there was a 30 return policy, this was not brought up at the time of sale. The supplement was purchased at a sale price for two, after using it for a month I was completely unsatisfied and should be able to return the unopened product. I will not shop at this store again. read more
