Their smoothie section is inside of a grocery store, which added to the confusion. The multiple lines here made it confusing since they had a cafe and bakery section and another section for food items. I eventually found out I was supposed to order Erewhon drinks from the tablet instead of wait in line and then later found out I was waiting in the wrong section to pick up my drink. I ordered the Blueberry SYRN smoothie from Sydney Sweeney through the tablet. After waiting about least half an hour, that was when I was told where to pick up my drink that I ordered on the tablet. The drink still looked pretty when I picked it up, but it didn't taste like anything special. The smoothie still tasted good though, so not much to complain about that, besides the high price tag of their drinks (it was $22). Now, enough about the smoothie section, the rest of this store looked very well organized with their products and it looked like they sell good quality items here. The store looked organized because I liked how they had all the labels facing out, unlike other stores with their drinks section. The meats and sushi section looked fresh, they have a colorful variety of fruits and veggies too. They also give some free food samples throughout the store, so that was nice. I'd recommend this place for the experience. It's cool how this is a grocery store where you can buy fresh food and drinks here. It's also a good place if you're looking for some colorful veggies.

Before I paid, she also told me about the Lassens membership and offered to help me sign up. I wish I had gotten her name because she really made my visit a great experience. When I went back into the store to let her know that I had fallen, I was shocked by her response. I had broken glass from my drink all over the ground, and there was a genuine safety concern. Customers or their pets could have easily walked through the area without realizing there was broken glass and could have been seriously injured. I even had pieces of glass on my own skin that I had to brush off. Instead of asking whether I was okay, whether I had been injured, or whether I had glass on me, Clarita immediately told me that I would have to purchase everything again. Given that I had just fallen, was physically shaken, and was dealing with broken glass, I found her response extremely insensitive and upsetting.

Now I am finding out for myself that it is just as any other market where in this economy, it benefits for me to research online for sales and weekly ads. One of things I realized is that I was sleeping on their coffee bar! This Whole Foods is surrounded by many restaurants, trending eateries and coffee shops that it is easy to overlook what Whole Foods can offer. The staff working at the coffee and juice bar are amazing! My current favorite is the berry chantilly iced latte. The honey latte and the brown sugar cookie latte are both very good but the berry chantilly is my current favorite. It is strong, not-too-sweet and well made for $5 and that is for a large. You can also have alternative milk like almond or oat at no extra charge! The deli and bakery are also great but I have been getting their pizza slices for an inexpensive lunch. Where nearby pizza spots are selling their slices for $7-$8 a slice (which I get why it is priced that way), Whole Foods has them at the self serve area for one slice at $4.50 or 2 for $8. I work near the area and though I love that I am in foodie heaven, sometimes I just need something a bit more simple and reasonably priced. Whole Foods pizza can be artisanal just as any other pizzerias. This week, they had elote pizza and it reminds me of the viral elote pizza that was invented by Rose City Pizza. It is pretty good and definitely closer to me than Covina.
