You can tell she genuinely cares about helping people, not just checking them out. She was also super friendly, kind, and empathetic, which honestly made such a difference. It's rare these days to feel truly seen and supported during a shopping experience, and Stephanie absolutely delivered that. She made us feel comfortable, respected, and confident in what we were purchasing. Customer service like this is why people keep coming back. However, once he saw my family member paying with an EBT card, his attitude noticeably shifted. The warmth and friendliness disappeared, and we felt treated differently after that moment. No customer should feel judged or treated unfairly based on their method of payment. It was disappointing, especially after what started as such a positive visit. I hope management addresses this, because aside from that interaction, the store itself was great. Every customer deserves to feel welcomed and respected. There are managers specials frequently, as well as discounted prepared food often available in the late afternoon. I'm fond of the kale and apple salad, and there's a black garlic shrimp platter that is delicious as well. If you can catch them on sale, I'd definitely recommend picking them up! One thing that was super tragic is that they've discontinued so many of their refrigerated vegan products.
