One of the managers here is super rude. I came in to exchange a product that I bought for $5 on sale, I bought it at another store about 1-2 months ago and within that time it had turned a dark yellow. I thought lotions last 6-12 months. I came in to this store to return it and they tried to tell me that I couldn't because of how much of the bottle was used. Then she tried to say it was past the 90 day window, uh fyi that would have been 3 months, not 1-2 like I'd said. Seriously, the lotion was not good. I think it was already going bad when I bought it but I don't buy lotions often so I didn't know until I used it recently. The texture was off and it stained my clothes. It was gross!! The manager even had another associate come over with the new version of the same lotion to compare the color and it was obvious that mine was not okay. And then still gave me attitude, as if I did something wrong by trying to return the product. I mean jeez. FYI, I've literally seen a B&BW employee refund a customer who pulled a candle off of the shelf, didn't have a receipt and they gave him a cash refund on the spot. But this lady wants to give me attitude because apparently the lotion was more than "gently used". if you don't like your job then go be miserable somewhere else. And don't work for a company that sells expired product and then act unreasonable when someone wants a refund. And learn a thing or two about customer service. I'm sure you guys get a lot of returns but you don't have to take it out on me lol. Going into this store was a mistake and I will stick to the one in my hometown. Anyway, thanks to the associate who did graciously process my return. Also I find it ridiculous that despite giving my phone number/account info every time I make an in-store purchase, there is no way to pull up past purchases in the system in order to process a return. This is a nice, clean Bath and Body Works. They are located inside the Moreno Valley Mall. All the yummy smells brought me in lol Actually to be completely honest, I was on the hunt for the spooky season stuff! I love it when Bath and Body Works puts out Halloween themed candles, body sprays and soaps. The vampire blood room spray is one of my favorites! I like the vampire blood hand sanitizer because it is red in color and looks like "blood." Lol But it doesn't have much of a scent. That's the only con. So you are basically going for the name and color of blood red lol I picked up a few of the room sprays that I like. And I'm very happy with my purchase. They had cute Halloween gift bags and trick or treat bags too. Sooooo cute! I'm a sucker for anything Halloween! :) Also, staff members were very friendly and helpful. read more

Now this is what I woke up for. This sale is everything, I call it " time to stock up sale". Walking in you get drawn in with all the smell good of course. The sale is 50% and 75% on items of course and they have the bins ready for you to enjoy yourself. Walking in we was the first couple of people there and the store was empty until the crow start to pack in. The cashier and sales floor people was super nice. I think the managers or leads whoever was over the employee they was kind of short with the employees, I kinda did not like that. We are all people and there is no need to talk to people any kind of way. I'll chalk that up to the holiday rush and hope they are not like that all the time. read more

The mall itself wasn't the most visually pleasing. The building in general seemed a bit old. I visited the Macy's at this shopping center, and everything seemed out of place and messy. The Bath & Body Works, however, was at least up to the standards of the chain. The store interior was brightly lit, and everything was arranged in a familiar fashion as other branches. The employees did not seem as overly bubbly as the Los Angeles area counterparts. I was surprised one of the management leads (at least I assumed) had very obvious tattoos, and while I was not accustomed the appearance, I believe it's great if someone's career is evaluated by hard work and work ethics. I did not have any interaction with her, however. The cashier who helped us was quick and professional. We were in and out of there in a matter of 5 minutes or so. I needed two Aromatherapy candles that day, and they were easy to find. They were located exactly where I would expect to find them based on my past experience, and both Rose and Stress Relief were fully stocked. The quality of both candles, on cold sniff, were consistent, and therefore, wonderful! Love myself some relaxing BBW scent sessions every day. These will do great! Moreno Valley will probably not be a city I visit often, but when I am nearby, it's nice to know there is a BBW just around the corner should the needs arise. 4 stars for a problem-free visit. read more

THIEVES - a person who steals, especially secretly or without open force. This is exactly what happened to me on 07/16/2023 at this location. I am extremely disappointed with the manager's unprofessionalism and unauthorized refund. I visited the store to exchange some candles, but instead, I left empty-handed with an unauthorized refund due to the employee processing a return instead of an exchange. The manager showed a lack of empathy and failed to address my concerns. This lackluster customer service experience has made me question the company's commitment to its customers. As far as being greeted or asked if I needed help, I'm okay it didn't happen as the store was busy but, a worker also had peer pressured me into buying more items I did not want or need. After the 3rd time I said no they then proceeded to talk down to me like a kid and told me to go get more items. So I did as I felt I had no other choice in order to get the items I originally wanted. I had walked back with extra items and they then proceeded to talk down to me as a kid again and had asked me "was that so hard?" and I had no response as I was in shock as to what had just happened and they then proceeded to ask "it wasn't huh?" and I just said yea. To the old lady manager at this location. You are BY FAR the rudest person I have ever met. You are not people's mother nor their grandmother. To scold someone in a store is beside me. You can state your covid rule to another ADULT one time. You're not the smelling lotion police. While leaving my mask up I opened a lotion to smell. Forgetting being every single store has different rules per the general aka store manager chooses to set. Cause let's be real, it's not state guild lines when every store in one mall is different. So!!! The lady tells me 3 times I cannot smell that after I had already put it down and stated "I wasn't trying it, smelled through my mask". She still goes on n on till I just ignore her. While I am still in the store I see this lady talking to another worker {who was working the door when I walked in} talking about me and looking at me. I do enjoy going to BBW, but I don't like being hounded and followed around the store to try products that I'm not interested in. I was there to pick up some items for my sister, and the associate started asking me about getting things for myself, and trying to get me to smell all kinds of scents. Staff are warm and sweet and willing to help but, need more improvement when it comes to customer care. I bought $700 worth of products for work's give aways for Christmas. It would be nicer if the manager went beyond as how her staff and cashier did offered to help out. I have 5 big bags that some are heavier. Recently moved out from L.A to Moreno Valley. The lines were ridiculously non existent at the Bath and Body works here. I love it! They had a steady flow of people but it never got cluttered people came and went. It was wonderful. It was so peaceful and all very well organized unlike most Bath and Body works in L.A . It reallt made me whole shopping experience very soothing and relaxing. I took home so many great things. I love the flashback sale (cucumber melon) makes my life complete. The sales ladies were very knowledgeable and were very friendly. They didnt follow me around and helped when needed. I love this particular Bath and Body Works. I absolutely love many of their scents and I have been a loyal customer for years, but what irks me is that they discontinue many of my favorites. I get hooked on a scent and then they stop making it and they refuse to tell you if it will be reordered (if the staff even knows!). I have had several experiences where they say "Check back by ___ date to see if your favorites have returned!" And sadly I waste my time waiting when they could have just said no. I'm getting more and more frustrated with them as time goes on and sadly I feel that this review is generous at 3 stars. The employees are friendly, which I appreciate, but you can't have loyal customers if you discontinue everything they love and lead them on which just wastes their time. I hope that they get their customer service at the purchasing level up to par because I am fed up. read more

Every time I go to this location, I don't like my experience. They're unorganized and very messy. The manager acts friendly, but she has horrible customer service. This is the only location that they give you faces for redeeming your free item. I was in line for 15 mins and their items were all over the place so I thought I grabbed them from the 75% and when I got to the front apparently they weren't. I explained to the guy that the items were under the 75% (a bunch of them) so I said can I go check really quick (mind you I was in line for 15 mins) and he said "you can go, but you have to get back in line" and I said "for checking your mistake?" Then he called the manager and the manager simply said "no, sorry" didn't even look at me in the eye and explain why her store was very messy and unorganized. It's nearby the lower level parking next to "Round 1" on the more North Side of Towngate Center Drive. So, if you park on that side, it's convenient to walk in and walk out. I love this place i have at least 30 perfumes and 30 lotions and cant wait to get more. I stock up on my favorite scents at the semi annual sales. My favorite is carried away and dark kiss which i have found on offer up or on their website. I adore this store everything smells so yummy and i love going there during fall. Today I came in very patiently and nicely trying to purchase some products from this store and I didn't mind paying the FULL AMOUNT yet I decided to see IF a coupon would apply and a lady named "Wendy" was very rude about it saying that the coupon didn't work without even trying then she said I had the coupon that wasnt on their website because it wouldn't work. I'm disgusted. Actually let me rephrase that. I'm mortified. I decided to get on of your guys "famous" body scrubs after hearing so much positive feed back from it and getting recommend to buy it by many of my acquaintances and close family friends. At first it all seemed nice and was amazing. I used it everyday for about a week and in my ladies area it wasn't smelling to good so i decided to use it down there. I did not see anywhere on the container/label or anywhere online that i shouldn't use it there. Also it's a body scrub and that's apart of my body so I did not see a issue about using it down there. The next morning I woke up to severe burning, itching, and irritation down there. At first I though nothing of it. Hours later the irritation become so unbearable and so intense that I could not stand it no longer. I immediately decided to go to the emergency room. I was informed that my area was infected and if it got worse I would have to get a surgery. I'm currently on medication but it does not help! Also the present smell of the body scrub has now made down there smell of chemicals. If I could give ur worse than 1 starts believe me I would! It's so disrespectful that I put my trust into you guys and wasted my money just to go through this intense pain and get infected. Corporate will hear from this! read more
