Absolutely amazing experience at Mother's Nutritional Center on Sunnymead Blvd! From the moment we walked in, the store felt welcoming, clean, and well-organized, but what truly made our visit exceptional were all the friendly staff and their manager and our specific cashier Stephanie. She went above and beyond in every way. She was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the programs, took the time to explain everything clearly, and answered our questions with so much patience and care. You can tell she genuinely cares about helping people, not just checking them out. She was also super friendly, kind, and empathetic, which honestly made such a difference. It's rare these days to feel truly seen and supported during a shopping experience, and Stephanie absolutely delivered that. She made us feel comfortable, respected, and confident in what we were purchasing. Customer service like this is why people keep coming back. I use curbside pickup because it's convenient I looked at my receipt when I got home and seen I paid for 2 packs of bananas yet the 2 packs of bananas were not given to me. Beware & DOUBLE CHECK for MOLD issues!! The worker/manager Lucio did NOT CARE!!!!! So we recently moved to Riverside from Fontana & the Mother's Fontana location was amazing. We had hopes that the quality, care & customer service would be good or at least decent here as well & from the very 1st drive up pickup order, a few items seemed off but we kept it. The 2nd drive up order the avocados & limes were looking like they were going bad again but when I decided to test a lime it tasted fine it was just the freshness that wasn't preserved and all were brown & had to be used/eaten ASAP. The avocados I had to get rid of as they looked brown & had a funny/nasty taste no matter how much we tried to ignore it. The 3rd time it was the WORST experience. The avocados, potatoes, strawberries, serranos & limes ALL were ROTTEN and had mold. It was HORRIBLE. I called immediately & the super young guy working there was super kind & understanding, even apologetic. He was maybe a kid or young adult don't know his name but he helped us load the car with groceries that last time for pickup. Well I called & it was him that answered and he apologized & was super kind saying to bring them back in & was so sorry for the inconvenience. I wasn't upset at all I was understanding and glad he was as well. We were supposed to bring the items in the following day, but due to family last minute errands and occurrences we didn't and were out of the area for 6 days. So once we were back on the 7th day I called to go in to get replacement items. But what got me was when I called the main guy working (not sure if he was the manager but it seemed so) named Lucio, over the phone let me know we had waited too long to return the items since it was almost a week. So he spoke to the head people & they said it's okay to let me come back & get replacements. As I arrived he had a very stale, stuck up rude attitude & demeanor. Almost as if he felt entitled to be working/running the store? Again, I believe he was the manager but not sure. Lucio & 2 other females were working and the moment I began to inspect the strawberries in stock inside the store I could see MOLD ALL OVER THE FRUIT!!! Every. Single. Pack. Literally. So I even opened one pack & I moved it around and I could see the mold still deep inside and then tiny bits of mold when I moved the pack around on another. So I turn and I can feel the guy & 1 of the girls watching me and they both gave such stale, ANNOYED & bothered faces like they were aggravated with me but I told him I do that anywhere and I don't want this issue to keep happening that's all and then have to return. So I told him that there was mold on all of the strawberries. My concern was other families grabbing them as well bc I know my babygirl LOVESS her fresas. So then he immediately responded with, "Yeah... well they're fresh. So." & I looked at him with such a face like are you serious? So I go, "Well sir, every pack has mold so I'd say at this point it's a shipping/delivery issue maybe? But they all have mold." He then responded with, "Well they're came in today. So they're fresh," with an attitude like too bad what do you want me to do about it. Needless to say, he did not care at all about the quality, freshness & SAFETY of our families & babies. So I got the rest of my goods and left. The girl working at the register next to him was also very aggravated with me & just gave dirty looks. I did call headquarters shortly after and let her know so she said she'd be looking into this issue with that store and manager and the routing/delivery issues. We won't be going back after all of that. Ambiance was HORRIBLE & uninviting. Almost felt judgmental for looking out for my family & others. Lucio & the other girl did not care and some of the workers there were just there for the check. I'm sure not all of them are like that bc the young guy/boy who helped us a week prior to returning was super gracious & kind. But man, BE CAREFUL! read more

My Mom passed by the store and told me to check it out. I'm glad I did! If you shop with WIC this place is the best place to go! Sometimes with regular stores you have to travel all around trying to get all your WIC products and go check out just to realize you grabbed the wrong item. Very frustrating. But this store has everything you need right there. There's a list you pick from and they get it all for you! The produce was all fresh. Not only that, everyone was very friendly! Like, super friendly and helpful! They even help you bring your groceries to your car! Eric helped me since it was my first time and he was great with explaining everything to me and helping me out. I felt the need to wright a review because of how great the employees were. The employees greeted us with a warm welcome. When we looked clearly confused an employee explained how things worked and the lady checking us out was incredibly sweet and informative. The store was clean and well stocked with lots of fresh fruits and veggies to choose from which we also appreciated. But I wanted to say something about it because one of the girls thats always there in the morning I don't know her name, the tall dark haired one she is super rude and she always has this attitude looking annoyed when she's helping you that makes you uncomfortable. I currently go to this office and haven't had any problems but I'm pregnant and tired so my dad offered to go get my groceries for me and he mentioned that he will no longer go because 2 women who work there started laughing once he walked up to the register he claims they were not having an ongoing conversation so he just felt embarrassed for being the only man there and he's older so he felt uncomfortable. I've come here twice and I don't like it at all. The friendliness of the staff was hit or miss. The milk always has a soon approaching expiration date, the avocados go from too hard to rotten, there are never any frozen vegetables. I'd rather go to the grocery store because this location is rather inconvenient. read more

So after reading all the negative reviews, I was extremely wary of coming here, but when you have a fussy baby and don't want to deal with the hassle of a regular supermarket, you're willing to roll the dice on bad customer service. What I found was a small, yet neat and stocked little store where there were 4 cashiers open plus an additional 3 or 4 other workers helping out customers, as well. I found this option to be extremely convenient and easy when using WIC vouchers. The cashier I encountered was nice, quick, and explained everything to me well since it was my first time coming to one of these. Overall, I had a good experience and will definitely be coming back for all my WIC voucher needs. read more

Normally I come to this location and have amazing service and the staff is usually pretty friendly how ever I'm here currently being helped my Alejandra and the service is no where near what I am use to. She didn't greet with a hello and overall no genuine customer service skills again I'm going based off of my past experiences at this location. This place is very helpful. Especially when you have a little one with you. The staff is very kind and friendly. They always tried to help and get you exactly what you want. My only complaint is that their products are less than superior. Their produce is most of the time, not very fresh and about to be rotten or no good. I hate getting my produce here, I just do it for convenience. It's a sacrifice I have decided to make for myself. This place used to be very organized and the workers were helpful. Now I believe they've had a change of manager and new workers and I didn't like the service. I was standing there for awhile while the girl helped another worker which I didn't mind but than they stood there talking about the last customer while I was just literally standing there. Worst employees and management! They framed a father to a new born son to lose his only source of income. They accused him of something he didn't do and when asked to see the tapes that they "supposedly" caught him on camera, they refused. A company that is all about family and children had a really messed up way of showing it. And their Human Resources failed to investigate the situation properly and took the easy way out by firing an innocent man. After finding out what these cruel people did to a hard working father (who would never risk anything for his son) Im certainly never doing business with them. read more

I really like this store so far. It was my first time here and I did not know what to expect. It was sooooo convenient for me! I'm always nervous about going to the store because I don't know if my baby boy will be fussy or not. So I decided to give this place a shot because I heard that they get everything for you and it's pretty fast. My first impression was that it was a lot smaller than I expected. I wasn't sure if what to do. There were produce and other items that were accessible but then there were items behind the registers. So I stood there like I was waiting in line. I just assumed that is what you do. An employee called me over to one of the registers after about 3 minutes. Not long at all. When I got to the register, I explained to the lady that is was my first time. She was really nice and helpful with explaining the whole process of how everything works. I was only going to use one voucher of 20 jars of baby food because I felt bad about her having to get all the little jars for me. But she said it was fine and was super nice about it so I used all 3 vouchers which was 60 jars. I was able to pick what I wanted by marking how many of each jar on a sheet that had all of the different varieties of baby food. Overall, the process and check out was really fast. I'm so glad that I was able to get all of my baby's food for the whole month in one shopping trip. It was a nice surprise that they give you a gift for redeeming your vouches there. I chose corn tortillas. It was great because I was thinking this morning how I needed tortillas so it worked out perfectly that I was able to get it there and for free! After the check out was finished, they brought it out and loaded it into my car. It was really helpful because it's such a hassle to load groceries in my car when I have my son with me. One happy mom here! I will definitely come back again! read more
