This Sprouts is conveniently located behind LAFitness, so I frequently stop by post-workout. I was intrigued by the $5 sushi deal on Wednesdays, but I'd really not recommend going out of your way for it. They're basically all just cucumber and rice. The ones with any fish seem to be priced at $6 and even then it's like the tiniest slivers of tuna. They have poke bowls as well, but something is seriously wrong with the seaweed salad in them. It's straight up gray, not green, and so I've been too scared to try one. There are managers specials frequently, as well as discounted prepared food often available in the late afternoon. I'm fond of the kale and apple salad, and there's a black garlic shrimp platter that is delicious as well. If you can catch them on sale, I'd definitely recommend picking them up! One thing that was super tragic is that they've discontinued so many of their refrigerated vegan products. I was happy to pick up a ton of vegan protein for cents on the dollar the one day I caught the massive clearance, but my stock is finally running low and I'm sad I won't be able to find a lot of the same stuff here anymore. read more

I just ate the most glorious tuna sandwhich of my life. Not only was it inexpensive (5.99) but it changed my life. I won't be able to go back to who I was 10 minutes ago before I ate that piece of poetry. The dill in the tuna complemented the salty and fish essence of said tuna, and brought refreshment not only to my mouth but to my soul and whole body in this monstrous heat. The lettuce was crunchy yet silky and the tomato was sweet and perfectly ripe yet still could hold its shape and didn't fall out at all. For how packed the sandwich was I was very impressed with how well it held up between the multi grain bread. I feel renewed and redeemed after eating that #4 tuna sandwhich. As I took my first bite, "oh yeah" but Steve lacy played in my car stereo, and instead of feeling like a chud loser for eating alone, I felt like a girl who was going to be okay- I saw light at the end of the tunnel, the wind felt cooler, I could see past the smog and the sky cleared up. It was as if God had intervened and blessed me with not only the best sandwich of my life but the hope that things will be okay and life is beautiful and whimsical. I will forever be changed. Sprouts deli didn't just serve me a sandwich, they served me hope. Eating that sandwich was the best 10 minutes of my life and probably the closest to heaven I will get while I'm here on earth. Honestly, grocery shopping can feel like such a chore, but I actually look forward to coming to this Sprouts location off Alessandro. The moment you walk in, the open layout and the massive, colorful produce section right in the center just sets the best vibe. Everything is always beautifully stacked, super fresh, and they have the best seasonal fruit selection around. Beyond the gorgeous produce, I am obsessed with their bulk bins. It's so nice being able to grab exactly the amount of nuts, chocolate-covered pretzels, or coffee beans I need without buying a massive plastic container. Their deli counter is also a hidden gem--if you haven't grabbed one of their custom sandwiches for a quick lunch yet, you are seriously missing out. The store is always clean, bright, and well-stocked, but what really seals the deal is the team working here. The cashiers and floor staff are always incredibly welcoming, polite, and quick to help you find something. Plus, the parking lot is smooth and easy to get in and out of, which is always a massive bonus for a busy grocery run. High quality, great prices, and friendly faces every time. It's Hatch season, Y'all! I've been purchasing Hatch all over the place and have ended up at Sprouts. This is the second week, in a row, that I've purchased 4 bags of Melissa's Hatch and roasted it. As someone from New Mexico, the aroma always brings back nostalgia, creativity, and delicious meals. I've also purchased Microgreens from here a few times as these are hard to find. This sprouts location is my all time favorite in the IE. The workers are always helpful and kind and the store is always clean and stocked. While we all know Sprouts is on the pricier side they have the health food and supplements that I like. I think it might be a little smaller than the one in Redlands, but the manager's specials here are really nice so I make a point of popping in to check for deals after going to the gym. I get the ready cook meals here semi-frequently, and they're actually pretty fresh and delicious. Not a huge fan of their sushi, though. It's kind of comparable to Ralphs, which is...not a compliment. I was excited about the $5 Wednesday deals, but none of the rolls with actual fish in it are included. Except the spicy tuna roll, but from the two times I've checked, that has a truly pitiful amount of tuna. It's just a speck of red. read more

Today I had the pleasure of being helped by Robert in the meat department in the Sprouts store #210 in Riverside. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing the right cuts of meat I needed. I asked about cooking instructions. He gave me very easy to follow instructions and went a step further and wrote the instructions for me on the very neat package he had made for me. I was just passing by and stopped to use the restroom. I noticed they had soups and grabbed some there was a line for a cashier and the self checkout were empty. I decided to use the self checkout and I couldn't find the code for the soup I kept asking for help and the cashier and helper were ignoring me, so I just decided to go checkout at the cashier. Back for another Sammy! As usual, my trucking route took me to riverside. I was craving a sandwich. It was 90 degrees and a cold Sammy was the craving! As usual, they never disappoint. This time I tried the sweet prairie bread. My only complaint is that my bread was hard. I noticed a few bites into it. I brought it up to a worker. And they quickly made me another one. By then I wasn't as hungry. They explained that it was because it was still kind of frozen and got hard while being out. Not cool. This won't stop me from coming back. I just won't get that bread anymore. It other than that, "Boarshead" meat is always top quality stuff. Fresh veggies make a big difference. We came in on a Sunday after church and decided to try out their sandwiches. We ordered the classic italian and the buffalo chicken wrap. The classic italian was delicious and refreshing. They ran out of wraps that day, so they subbed it for sandwich bread. The bleu cheese is delicious, but the sandwich was overwhelmed with carrots. The protein to vegetable ratio was way off and the sandwich ingredients were SPARING. Probably had 2 inches of bread left at the bottom. I would not order this again. Tonight I went to pick up my online order for Easter tomorrow and unfortunately they were not ready. I was so tired I went back home and asked my husband to go back in a few hours to pick up the online order. The staff that worked at the deli tonight were so kind, overly apologetic, and generous they sent my husband home with some sweet goodies and that were very much appreciated!! DeLi ReViEw!!! When you enter it's to the right of the building. Once you approach to counter there are pads and pens for you to use. The sheets offer menu sandwich options or a Custom sandwich. It's pretty self explanatory and if you need to know what's in the menu sandwiches they have a sign breaking down all the ingredients. When you've made your selection you just place the paper on top of the counter and come back in a couple minutes for it. Depending on the person behind the counter they will call your name out so you know it's ready. Especially if you're shopping around.. but I did encounter a couple people who don't say anything and then you have to just look through the made sandwiches left on top of the counter. This has been a recurring problem lately. No matter what time I have visited this store lately, there is only one checker available. So if you do not feel like waiting behind the person with a full basket or two, you have to use the self-checkout. Well, I am not an employee, I am not getting paid, I am not receiving benefits, but yet I have no other option but to do the work of their employees - most likely because the store wants to save money on wages. Today I asked if they had another checker and was told they did not.
