(which is an extra $185) turned my car in on a Wednesday night before closing, which I knew they were not going to get to it that night, waited all day the next day, did not hear from them whatsoever, then I called them on Friday to find out what's going on, which I needed to wait for the lady who checked us in to come back, which wasn't until 2 hours before closing, to tell me they couldn't get to my car the previous day because of call outs. (All they were authorized to do was a diagnostic which takes 2-3 minutes). She proceeded to say that they needed to replace the alternator, and since it's late on Friday, they needed to order the part, but closed on the weekend and wouldn't get to it til Monday. They open at 8am and I got the call at 842am to say my car was ready. Less than 3 hours of labor and I was charged almost $600, which included a second diagnostic fee. PLEASE use this as advice to go to another shop, and make sure you're not charged more than 1 diagnostic fee, or $600 in labor for not even 3 hours of labor. We thought because of our first experience here it would be okay bringing another one of our vehicles, but we will now be looking for another shop because of this experience. Highly unsatisfied!

Fight after fight with them, the truck never got done.They told me the truck needed the exhaust done before they could finish the job, so I told them that I was getting it tow to a muffler shop and bring it back, but they wanted $3500 for me to tow it there, but now the truck was leaking transmission fluid and it was just done so wrong that I couldn't drive the truck. I was not going to pay them $3,500 for a truck that I drove there n had to get towed out. I finally couldn't deal with these people anymore after wasting 6 months of my life with them for nothing, so I told them that I was getting my lawyer. They told me to just take my truck out of that shop as is. Now I have to re-do everything they did and even spend more money to fix all the damage they did.... The mechanics from here really don't know anything about cars or have any experience to do anything car related ... People! This is why is so important to read reviews of places before you go to them. Some old reviews show's that I'm not the first person they do this to. Save yourself a nightmare and just take your car to another shop. Now,I have to waste more time making a complaint with the BAR and BBB and then get my lawyer involved. We went to eat before leaving town and one of our vans Tierod snapped in half. If you didn't know this is a very serious problem and your vehicle is not going anywhere. We thought we were stuck in Oakley until the next day. Every shop I called could not mobilize to get us out of this jam and were busy 2 days out. I called Eric 3rd and found the best mechanic around literally. Him and his partner came out, introduced themselves, diagnosed the problem, told me quickly upfront what the problem was, showed me under the car, gave me the price, went to get the part while one person stayed with me, came back quickly and fixed our van efficiently. I recently discovered that Millennium Auto Care was formally accused by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) in 2018 for violations including: Charging for parts not replaced Performing unauthorized repairs Failing to return replaced parts (Source: BAR Accusation Document) This is public record and speaks to a pattern of behavior that matches what I experienced.
