The shop diagnosed my car and quoted nearly $1,200 in repairs, demanded cash only, and refused to take a credit card for the diagnostic fee. That alone raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability. This wasn't my first bad experience with Millennium. Back in 2021, the same technician exposed wiring and suggested vague electrical issues that felt like a setup for unnecessary diagnostics. I recently discovered that Millennium Auto Care was formally accused by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) in 2018 for violations including: Charging for parts not replaced Performing unauthorized repairs Failing to return replaced parts (Source: BAR Accusation Document) This is public record and speaks to a pattern of behavior that matches what I experienced. A few days ago I got on my dash an engine light and etc light on my Audii. I called Millennium to give me some advice on what it may be. Right off the bat Hameed told me what it was and explained what I should do. I brought it to them the following business day. Hameed was so helpful and showed me what was going on under my hood. Rodents destroyed the wiring! The car is usually parked outside so animals are just looking for shelter during the winter. Unfortunately, it happened to be my car. It looked terrible, a lot of wires chewed on. Apparently this is not out of the ordinary, it happens. He fixed the wiring and also cleaned up the engine. Engine looks amazing and car is running smooth. My car was worked on right away as he knew it was my only transportation to drop off my kids to school. The job was done fast and perfect I had an issue with my transmission, it won't change gears easily, driving extremely slow and make a loud noise when I try to escalate Their tech advised me to change the transmission fluid first before we judge it's the transmission, keep in mind I have only 70k miles on my car. I accepted his advice, left my car for one, they changed the transmission fluid and called me next day in the morning to come pick my car Honest shop like that will save you money, and get the job done. Oil change price was competitive, they were very transparent, AND they found a safety issue with a recently purchased vehicle- so glad because we were about to go on a family trip . UPDATE TO UPDATE: Was refused by owner any refund or replacement of parts and rim, then physically threatened. Old owner has now left business and sold it to another person with as low of standards as the previous! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. THEY WILL NOT HONOR OR GUARANTEE WORK. GO TO ANOTHER SHOP! UPDATE: DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE! I started out with a 5 star rating for them until MY BRAKE CALIPER FELL OFF WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY GOING 70MPH. I sincerely almost died recently because of the poor attention to detail of the staff here. Turns out the bolts for the caliper were never properly secured and they fell out causing my car to freeze after the caliper then fell off. It's been weeks and the owner of this place has yet to right their mistake and doesn't return phone calls. This was the scariest thing to ever happen to me... when you trust a shop with your brakes, you're trusting them to some degree with your life. These aren't the guys to trust with your life afterall! :-/ real bummer... I thought supporting small local business was going to be a good thing... now im thinking differently I just left this spot and WOW what awesome people! The space was tidy, steadily busy, and had 2 amazing gentleman working there, one being the owner. I was grateful to be treated like a real person and to be given the opportunity to see the aspects of my Mazda that needed repair with my own eyes. This is awesome and not something that every shop shows you. I need brake work done, so I'll be stopping here to have that worked on. Thank you guys for being there! I was looking for someone that will do an oil change for Alfa Romeo. Seems like most places don't work on European cars but this awesome place does it was God sent. Zaaz was honest, kind and knowledgeable. The whole job took about an hour plus which was a dream not having to sit around all day. Both him and his partner not sure his name was awesome. Please be very careful before you end up being ripped off by (gay with beard( Thief )) His name is HAMEED. He will not replace parts of your vehicle if you have brought it. Specially, if are not present at the time. I trusted this Thief, who did not used brand new parts I provided. I purchased break pads from the dealer and brand new rotors, but unfortunately he kept my brand new rotors and resurfaced old rotors and only replaced break pads. After four months, I experienced as rotors were not working as it supposed to. I took my vehicle to the different workshop and was very disappointed to learn what this Thief has done. Then, Instead of spending money again for this costly repair, I went to talk to him, what he has done and of course he won't accept any responsibility. My boyfriend took my 2015 Chevy Colorado because it was having some issues stalling. I knew it was the fuel pump as it's happened before with my other Chevys. It took them about three days to fix the fuel pump. They called me and told me the truck was running fine. Then the next day they called and said the truck wasn't running and they didn't know what was wrong with it. They were going to consult their experts and get back to me. After two days went by they called us and told us that we needed a new engine due to the lack of maintenance in my truck which was a fabrication because I've maintained the truck to a T and I have all maintenance records. They then told me I would need a new motor for $9000. At that point I told him to see if any work on the truck and that I would come pick it up. I came and picked it up with AAA because it wasn't starting and I told it to Chevy in San Leandro. I told Chevy what was happening and they told me there was no way the engine would be bad on a seven year old car that had only 100,000 miles on it. After looking at the fuel pump again, they found that millennium put in a bad fuel pump. They also fabricated about me needing a new motor. Chevy told me that the part they had put in was clearly use and not working and they would have to install another fuel pump. So I called them, and after many phone calls of arguing with the owner and his mechanic, they finally agreed to give us half the money back that we had spent on the truck. we spent close to $1800 for a truck that was not working with bad parts and got $900 back. All in All this whole thing cost us around $5000 because I was given bad info and they use bad parts. They tried to blame Chevy for giving them a faulty part but that's the thing with this place, they clearly don't know what they are doing and they keep putting the blame on everything else. Do not bring your car here! I brought my car in for a simple oil change. The next day on my way home from work my car broke down because there was no oil in the car. Had to get towed to the nearest dealership because my car was under warranty. Found out that the oil filter gasket was crushed which caused the oil to leak out. Now my car needs engine work and when I tried to talk with Millennium about it they accused me of trying to scam them and put words in my mouth. Worst experience ever. read more

Great work and GREAT customer service! I took my 2005 2500 Dodge Ram in a few weeks ago because I needed some serious work done to my breaks, oil change, and for an electrical diagnosis of why my turn signals and instrument lights kept going out. I spoke with Hadeem (sp?) and he provided a brake inspection as part of the oil change, and $90 for the electrical diagnosis (which I thought was a very fair price). Upon inspection of my brakes, he found serious damage to all four rotors, and suggested a full brake job. His quote was very reasonable and was able to complete all that work in one day. When it came to the electrical diagnosis, he ran a little late in the day (with all my brake work), so he asked if they could store the truck overnight, and they would work on it first thing in the morning; I happily obliged. At about lunch time, Hadeem called me and thoroughly walked me through all the electrical and lighting issues they found with my truck. One repair was very costly, and he even mentioned it may not be worth repairing considering how little I drive that truck. He also pointed out some issues and made repairs to other lights on the truck I didn't even know about. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Hadeem is a great mechanic, and I even spoke with the owner, Zazi, afterwards. Its a great little shop and they do very thorough work. My receipt detailed EVERYTHING they did (in great detail I might add). I plan on having Millennium Auto do all my future car maintenance! read more

They were recommended so I took my truck in. The guy seemed to nice. He told me it would take 3 hours for a diagnostic ok cool. Time went by didnt hear anything called he said he was getting the estimate ready. I went down there and before he tells me what's wrong he asks me do I want to take the car or leave it. I said well whats wrong with the car FIRST. He says oh yea let me tell you wth. He proceeds to let me know and I say fix it. Ok fine! Next day text me to come pick it up. I did so! Extremely friendly and helpful service with a smile. I had called ahead to make sure they could see me that day. My front right headlight went out and even though we replaced it, it kept blinking in and out. We made sure it was seated properly but was still happening so figured it had to be something electrical. Took it in and he saw right away that a fitting had broken off so he secured it with some silicone and voila, no more blinking in and out! Gave me a fresh bulb as well, just to make sure. Also cleared out the 'cloudiness' of that headlight casing as the left side was newer from being replaced from an accident. Would've gotten a smog check done as well but I needed a Test Only station. I admit, I know next to nothing when it comes to pricing out repairs but for other people's reference, I paid $40. read more

I was looking for a mechanic here in Brentwood on a Saturday as my truck was overheating. Mark told me to bring it over even tgough i had no apointment. When i got to his shop, I spoke to him long enough to know he was knowledgeable and very upfront about costs. I went to call a cab, and he insisted that they would drive me home . They fiund my radiator leaked and it was 2.30 in the afternoon and I thought I would not have the truck until Monday but they said they could have it done by 5pm. , At 5pm I had my truck back. Brought my Honda Element here to repair the AC. They could have easily gouged me for a new compressor a new AC clutch, but they were very honest and told me that the AC tank was simply overfilled. They drained it and refilled it with freon. Reasonable price and quick turnaround time. This place before being bought by new owners in April of this year 2020 was the best. I have never had any issues or problems and always very fair on price. Since new ownership this place has changed for the worse and not very friendly to customers. I had work done on car with proof and bank record for almost $3,000 on jan 31st,2020 and called for copy of invoice with work done and was told we don't have it. I was given the reason was because they just bought company in April and have new system for computer. I explained that even though they recently bought company there is still warranty and things still active if something happens. I was called ""BRO"" and told there's nothing they can do and paperwork is gone. I don't believe customers should be addressed as bro nor do I think you wanna do 3k of work and then be told sorry we got bo record that was old owners if issues arise later on within warranty. I have filed a complaint with BBB and diffently hope this doesn't happen to another customer. My headlight on my KIA went out last year around this time and Millennium did a great job fixing it. The light went out again and they replaced the blub. Well, that lasted for about three days and it went out again. I had my husband take my KIA back to Millennium and they told him that the blub seems lose and just move the blub around when it goes out.
