This place is now called GNT Nails but the signage and Yelp listing still lists it as Long Nails. We called ahead of time and asked if we could just walk in and be seated and they said yes! I would definitely suggest calling in advanced and asking if they are available and if you will be accommodated quickly. We were lucky and were able to sit down and start our pedicures as soon as we picked out our colors. Mimi was so sweet to me, she even helped me pick out a few colors that looked good together. We sat down in extremely comfortable massage chairs and out our feet in warm water. This was such a nice experience and the chairs cracked my back multiple time when I'd press my back into the chair. It felt so great! I would suggest bringing in headphones and listening to something relaxing would be even better. They had Jepordy on and depressing news. Which gives me anxiety. Mimi took her time to make sure I was happy with my nails. I felt like she cared! And for $ 30 bucks for both my toes and fingers for a regular manicure/pedi, I can't complain. That's the best price going around here! The owner needs to come on site more often and clean up the place and really make this business as amazing as the nail techs. He needs to clean up the tiles, paint the walls better, clean the bathroom, and make sure it sparkles. I will go back but I'll just go to the bathroom before hand. Clean facility, now called Nancy's nail. Sure enough it took me ten min to find it because it's no longer GNT. Came here for a no chip pedicure French. I swear it was the dude's first time doing French. So then Nancy takes over but he's messed up my nails so bad she couldn't even fix it. Needless to say, the worst nail experience of my life. Now I'm stuck with this poop job for a month I've never seen such bad nail salon fail. read more

This is an OKAY place. The salon is small and did not have a lot of workers on staff, but the staff was nice and tried to accommodate as much as possible. The place was kinda dirty so I am also very afraid of getting an infection in these sort of places. The price was very low, so I know you get what you pay for. Soooooooo me and my husband decided to get pedicures and this business was right down the street from the hotel we were staying at so we decided to come here I definitely wish I had check there reviews before I came here but oh well anyway we walked in nobody said anything no hello or can I help you once we got in the chair to get our feet done the young lady did not ask my husband what service did he want she just started working on his feet and me and my husband felt it was a very rush job there were 8 people there getting different things done and there was only 3 workers another red flag was for me how DIRTY this place was they had just opened at 11 am and it was 1230 when we arrived to me that's not enough time to get a whole shop so dirty and filthy one good thing that came out of this horrible trip was the man who did my Pedicure did a great job even tho he did not say one single word to me next time I'll do myself a favor and check my Yelp or Google a business reviews before I spend my time & money there read more

Horrible experience! I waited almost 40 minutes before someone finally started on my pedicure. Not even 10 minutes into the pedicure, the manicurist cut my toe using the skin removal paddle! My toe had a nice gash and began to bleed! I asked for a band-aid and even though the manicurist apologized several times she did not do a good job at all. Nancy spoke a few words to the manicurist and she got up from doing my feet and proceeded to pick up a dust pan and broom and began cleaning the facility. Nancy then took over my feet and finished me up. Nancy did a great job with my feet and brows but I WILL NEVER BE BACK TO THIS PLACE! I would give this place a 0 star rating if I could......HORRIBLE!!!!! read more

I have had my finger nails done 3 times and a pedicure just once. I am very pleased with the quality of the service and cleanliness of the facility. I'm very happy that the nail tech working on me never used their phone. I only wish the staff understood the services offered are services customers would enjoy more without them constantly talking to eachother - loudly or otherwise. Any staff member talking on their phone, speaker style, is rude. A loud television is unnecessary. Having everything so loud is not a relaxing experience. read more

This place is dirty! I walked in right when they opened and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned from the day before. The towel on the nail station was filthy, the sink had food or coffee grounds in it, dust and dirt everywhere and my favorite color (Sugar Daddy) had been refilled with a different color! I went to the Elk Grove Village location. They get you in and then switch the prices on you. I followed the Google link to their website and it said one price and when I was done getting my nails done the price was 50% more then advertised. There was not a price list anywhere in the building. When I showed the price on there website, they said that wasn't their store even though the website has their name and address on it. When offered to pay only 25% more I was told by the manager that she would be happy to take the nails off my daughter's hands if we couldn't pay. I was forced to pay as I already had the service done and couldn't have my daughter go through someone taking her nails off that she was excited to have. I also found out later that the lady reused nail files and material on my daughter's hand during covid-19. Now I'm nervous about my daughter's health. I will never go back to this place. read more

The absolute fxkn worst! I'll neverrrrrrrrrrr spend money here again. They didn't file my acrylics correctly so they're getting caught in my hair just a few days later...they're longer than I wanted them to be, the lady refused to cut them the length I wanted, saying she was going to file them and they'd be shorter (that didn't happen) the nails are WAY TOO THICK! The place is called GNT Nails now. I came in for a pedicure and my usual eyebrow wax. The pedicure was fine but they had a new person doing the eyebrow wax and she did not know what she was doing. She completely butchered my left eyebrow. I had bald spots missing in between. This was not my first time having my eyebrows done since they changed ownership. I usually go get my eyebrows done once a month and only get the pedicure doing the warmer months. After I complained to her, she called in the owner and she pretty much ignored me. I was leaving and I went back in and told the owner that I had been coming there for month and never had a problem before. Peter is wonderful whenever I come for a mani/pedi. I've been Peter's customer for two years now. He's very patient & friendly. Peter gives me suggestions as to what colors to choose (I like to come often and get my nails painted different colors weekly) and what would look best on me. There are so many colors to choose from: very appropriate for spring/summer dresses and sandals. They even have the OPI sand colors. If you come in on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday you can get a pedi for $20! The store is always kept clean. There are massage chairs where we get our feet soaked. The people who work here are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Long Nails for excellent service at an affordable price. read more

This place is pretty dirty. I'm super picky with my nails being that I work in a salon. This was a last minute thing, someone referred me here for good quick service. NOTHING was sanitized properly. A spray bottle of alcohol is now how you sterilize tools. They do not use the proper tools either. I feel like the person I had wasn't very educated on how to do nails. My nails look "nice" but I will definitely not be back. If it wasn't for how dirty and no proper sanitation procedures, I might have considered. How can I sum this place up in one word? GREAT! Got a mani/pedi yesterday. At $30 it was a steal. They take their time here but they do get busy on the weekends. Best to go Monday-Thursday so you can get the best experience. Spent an hour and a half there getting my services and they did not use a razor or cheese grater for my feet but they are smooth like they did. My Mom got her eyebrows waxed and they looked great. For $8 the price wasn't bad either. Private room with a door for waxing is a definite plus! They do take appointments for those ladies who want to be waited on right away. Lisa is funny and very knowledgeable and my Mom's nail tech was great too... so great that she made an appointment for two weeks from now. We will definitely be back. They have a good polish selection and they don't seem to thin them out like other places but I would definitely bring my own OPI/polish if you are particular (I do that for all salons but this trip was impromptu).
