I would like to start off this review by saying that Gerald is the absolute best person I have ever…read moreworked with on a project. That's saying a lot because my family moved into a brand new build back in 2017, so we have had many, many people come through for projects. What made my experience with Gerald so great was absolutely everything that matters. He was always on time, always responsive, always a perfectionist, and always pleasant (no matter how early in the morning or late in the evening he was working). I am known by those close to me as an extreme perfectionist. Gerald is the one person who absolutely never let me down with his work (although it could be more accurately described as art). I'm the type of person who if I see one thing that looks off, it will eat at me literally every time I pass through that room. Gerald installed tile and baseboards both inside and outside of my house and after walking through those areas countless times, I still have yet to see anything that doesn't look absolutely perfect. Aside from being an absolute master of his craft, Gerald is incredibly generous with his time. He treats every project as if the house he's working on is the house that his family comes home to everyday. For example, while I was doing a walk through with him after everything was wrapping up, I was ready to sign everything off and thank him for a job well done. Well, during the walk through, Gerald pointed out a couple of things that were bothering him and he vowed to come back the next day to fix them even though I didn't even notice anything was off. So, if I'm an extreme perfectionist, then I guess Gerald is in a class all by himself. Even after making those extremely detail oriented fixes, Gerald came back to patch things up on his own time and also to clean up the mess that some other installers left on their job. Specifically, they chipped a few of the baseboards that he installed and straight up took an entire corner piece off the wall. The look of horror on his face when he saw the damage they did to his perfectly installed baseboards said it all. The man looked like someone absolutely ripped his soul out. It really spoke to how seriously he takes his jobs and how much pride he takes in his work. I really wish this level of pride and passion were more prevalent in all people when it comes to their chosen professions. Overall, I could go on and on with reasons why you should go with this business and not even think twice. However, I will choose to end the review now and simply trust that my experience helped you in making your own decision. We work really hard to pay for our homes, so it's important that those we select to work on it, work equally hard.

Jose Peraza came out on a Saturday morning and gave us a quote to replace the removed drywall, texture and paint. His pricing was reasonable and said he could start Monday morning. Jose and his employee showed up first thing Monday morning and went straight to work. I was telling him that our fluorescent light panel in the ceiling of our kitchen was hideous and was planning on taking it out in the future and replacing it with light fixtures. Jose said he would rip it out and wire two cans in for us at no extra charge and ensure the drywall looked good. Wasn't in my plans but said sure. I also had some old telephone wall plates he patched up for no extra charge. In fact , Jose did a lot of little extras to make the place look good. Jose even replaced electrical outlets to ensure all of them matched through the house. On Thursday they finished and everything looked great and seamless! Jose and Mia were very pleasant to work with... Got to know Jose during the week and he's a totally awesome person... we had some laughs as well. I have worked with a few contractors in the Murrieta area and Jose has most definitely been the best I've worked with. Perazas Renovations do way more than what I needed, but will certainly use them in the future! By the way Jose... we hung the lights in the kitchen and they look awesome!!! The crew was friendly and professional taking pride in their work, kept work area clean, and Cory, the owner, even offered professional design input which was appreciated. The sky is the limit with the design plans. They have a lot of photos for reference. Will definitely use them again when needed. Jobs we had done were a two large standard patio covers, a bbq patio cover with fans/lighting/ wiring for outdoor speakers/tv/space heaters. We also had Cory design us a cover for our pool equipment which was getting blasted by the California sun.
