It is really weird that they asked for tips with such high price ($55) and bad service. I used it to commute between JFK and New Haven, CT. My trip: JFK - New Haven: 5:30am arrival, scheduled 6am. Driver showed up 6:20am and I became hopeful and happy but it didn't last long. We go to different terminals to pick up other customers and eventually depart 7:10am. Then the shuttle dropped someone in the Stamford or Bridgeport area, getting off the highway. Eventually I got dropped off 9:30am. For me, alternatives are: 1. JFK - (1 hour subways) NYC Penn Amtrak Station - (some wait time and 2 hour Amtrak train) New Haven. I think Amtrak costs $20-50 and there's some cost for subway tickets. 2. Uber straight out. $187 when JFK- new haven (8am on Monday), $120 when new haven - JFK. Share with 1-2 passengers if I can find one but I usually cannot. About $1.75 per mile for 90 miles + 0.7* minutes. I thought a ~2 hour drive will be faster than 3 hour subway + train but I think I'm completely wrong. Had a pick up from JFK to North Haven, CT. Driver picked me up within 15 minutes of my call at the welcome desk. The ride was smooth and the shuttle was spacious. The driver was very personable and respectful as well. I would definitely recommend this service. read more

I reserved online, and while trying to figure out where they would pick me up at JFK, they called me--to tell me they didn't know what flight I was arriving on, and that this was my fault. Then I had to call them from the airport courtesy phone, "to prove I was really at the airport," at which point they told me my driver would arrive in 20 to 30 minutes. 35 minutes later my driver arrived, knowing only my first name, not my last. There were three of us for the same destination. Good, I thought: we're off and running. No such luck. We then spent the next 45 minutes picking up FOUR more passengers for three destinations. Four hours from touchdown to home--for what is charitably a 100 minute trip. Never again. read more

I schedule a shuttle to pick me up at 2:45 am, when it was 15 minutes late I called, they weren't sure why they have not picked me up and they give me a local provider number to check (not even interested in checking themselves with the local provider), I called local transport and they say they do not have my reservation and they are not picking me up and that I have to call back GO (making me call back and forth at 3 am in the morning for nothing), I had to schedule an expensive UBER so I would not miss my international flight, they didn't even bother to call me to say they issued a refund or to at least say "We're sorry" Fuck this company, it is very unprofessional and not reliable at all, not worth wasting my time again. read more

The driver was rude and screamed at me on the phone. This is no way to talk to anybody esp if one is himself 5 mins late. I was misinformed that the shuttle would come at 9.15. AM . I did go down at 9.15 am but not finding anybody I called the call center at 9.30 who said the bus would come in 10 mins at which point I went up again. I think even if the driver came late that is not an issue. But driver no. 877 decided to be rude and screamed and told me he would only wait for 5 mins and said "are you coming or I'll leave ?.. I am der only for 5 more mins .. " .This is no way you speak to anybody. Later when my friend (who came down with me ) asked him why did he scream over the phone .He denied he screamed and started screaming in the process again. when I told him he was screaming over the phone , in a high pitch he asked me if I wanted to go in the van .. implying if I didn't keep quiet he would not give me a ride. He screamed at me twice. Meanwhile my friend went aside and all of a sudden the driver screamed at him and said he would punch my friend on his face. And then accused my friend of touching the van when my friend was a good feet away and had not touched the van. We were all stunned that he just started accusing my frend out of no where. When my friend mentioned he would complain to the customer center representatives .. the driver got scared and said ... "If you are a man you will settle this here " .When my friend said please go ... he said you are not a Man and said he would not leave ... " the driver waited in the van for 2 -3 mins and moved after that . Called up someone in theie office and completely twisted the story. I have people who will act as witnesses to my account. I hope disciplinary action is taken against driver no 877. His attitude was distasteful and uncalled for. read more

The worst ride home from JFK ever, it took almost 4 hours and there wasn't any traffic for an hour and fifteen minute drive. My 9pm pickup time THEY gave me got me to Milford CT just before 1am. Waste of time, never again! read more

Awful awful awful awful. Did I say awful? If I could give them negative stars, I would. They were 2 hours late, rude on the phone and I felt very nervous in the van. The driver was making phone calls and texting while driving. Last time I checked, that is illegal and dangerous especially with passengers. l would not recommend this to anyone friend or foe. Pay the extra money and get a car service. Don't waste your time or money with this poor excuse of a business. A word of advice to the dispatcher: treat your customers with respect. I had this shuttle service pick me up from my home to take me to the airport on 05/08/15. This service is wonderful!!!!! The shuttle was 20 minutes early, which I was not expecting. However, I would ralther the shuttle be 20 minutes early then 20 minutes late.... The driver helped me get my bags in and out of the van. It was a shared ride, but it was complete worth the price. I was at the airport in more than enough time to get to my gate and get something to eat. I would diff take this shuttle service again. The are polite, affordable, and on point. Took a Go shuttle tonight and had an awful experience. I had booked online to have a shared van drop me off at my house, paid and thought all was well. Nope! Driver was late picking up from Laguardia, I was the only passenger. Approximately 10 minutes away from my house, the driver starts complaining about how "other drivers" would never accept to drive that distance, that they don't actually service my area and he was "turning a blind eye to my taking advantage of paying $90 for a ride instead of $250". Um okay dude. Is it your job to drive from point A to point B or not? Red Dot is much more professional and I'll be sticking to them next time. read more

Where do I start !!!! 1) Driver is on his phone about 50% of the time. Waiting last minute to hit the brakes only because his eyes weren't on the road. 2) Rude driver. I had headphones on as I don't like making a small talk and I wanted to just kick back and relax. Driver kept on nudging me with his hand every time he wanted something. Dude please don't touch me. Also I don't want to talk. Terrible. Ordered shuttle to go back to San Diego airport, shuttle never arrived and had to pay again to get taxi to airport for transatlantic flight home. No idea if I can get money back as there is no way to email the company on their website. This company clearly has a monopoly as customer service is worse than appalling. The rude booking person was merely the entree for the aggressive 'driver'. Having been sent to the wrong side of a particular train station for a pickup to JFK, we were then talked to incredibly rudely when hurrying across the tracks to find the car. When there's an implicit threat of 'leaving without you', it's not the ideal way to start a long journey across the country. What happened to even an ounce of courtesy, has it all gone, is that where we are now, or is it just this hideous so called company? I really hope that there's another transportation company out there, this one doesn't deserve anybody's business, and the regularly awful reviews should tell all of us to look elsewhere, I certainly will be in future. read more

Terrible customer Service!!! The online chat never worked, the 800 number was always busy. I booked a ride for my sister that was traveling with my 3 year old nice. Since the web page does not have the option to request a child's seat, I had to call. The woman on the phone was extremely rude. I was so worried that the car service also would be terrible specially since they were arriving at La Guardia almost at midnight. Luckily it was not and they picked my sister up as soon as she called. BUT it could have been pure luck. I won't use this service again unless there is no other option. read more

Pick up from JFK was on time. That's the only positive thing I can say about my experience. We drove around for at least an hour to pick up other passengers, which I expected to be picking up others, but seems that they could have planned the pick ups better. We were crammed in like sardines. One poor guy was literally hanging off the edge of the seat... Upon being dropped off at my house, the driver made a snippy comment that they don't usually drop off "that far" into my town, and that the other passengers weren't going to be happy about it . The absolute worst decision I made. So you call make reservation they ask what time you land etc and pay over phone. I ask how do I know when my rides there? They say just go to their kiosk tell the attendant you're there and they will have the car pull around. Lol so here we go. Stood there with about 10 other people waiting for an attendant 15 min go by no worker at kiosk. I call the number customer service lady says they will be there in 10 min. 10 min go by I call back. I had to be to a meeting that's why I made reservations. She preceeded to tell me making a reservation does not guarantee a care will be available! What???? So then tells me it will be another 15-20 min for the worker guy...I call back 15 min later she tells me about half an hr!!!! What??? And she is extremely rude! Now no kiosk attendant ever shows up but a driver did had no idea who I was where I was going etc. Now I will say after the driver and I got everything straight he was very nice. read more

THE DRIVER NEVER SHOWED UP AND LEFT MY GROUP STRANDED WITHOUT A RIDE TO THE AIRPORT! My trip was CONFIRMED and I called 24 hours prior to RECONFIRM my pickup, and yet there was NO VAN! My group was traveling from CT to NY/JFK Airport to catch a flight, and due to the van being a NO SHOW, we MISSED OUR FLIGHT! As as result, our group had problems rebooking flights at the airport, incurred additional charges for the rebooking, experienced problems at our destination location, hotel, and missed day one of the conference we were attending, etc. It was a complete domino effect of disaster all because THE DRIVER DID NOT SHOW UP. To make matters worse, when I called the local dispatch to inform them that we were still waiting for our van pickup which was 30 MINUTES LATE, THEY COULD NOT EVEN FIND OR REACH A DRIVER. I honestly do not think a driver was ever assigned to our reservation! THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS UNSATISFACTORY AND COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I will not be using this company again! read more

Its not mistake the 2 star rating. I think the only reason its not a 1 star is the few 4/5 star ratings mixed in by those who were lucky enough not to have to deal with horrible customer service or a crazy driver. I had never used go airport's services before. So, after booking a West Haven to JFK one way I inquired about the identification and qualifications of the driver who would be picking us up... Seems like a normal reasonable request, No? Georgina the "sales manager" who called and exchanged emails with me regarding this issue told me mid sentence "she didn't deal with this" and clicked me over to a new associate Betsy who was pleasant and assisted me in my very simple and reasonable questions... Im not anticipating this ride going any better then the experience thus far. And, If I didn't leave in a few days I would have canceled out of principal. read more

Requested a pick-up in advance, from Laguardia Airport for 11.30pm. Lady on the phone said "that's fine, we will pick you up then," but suggested that I don't pay in advance; rather, that I pay the driver directly. Whether she was being lazy, I'm not sure. Plane lands and I am ready by 11.30pm as agreed. I am still ready at 11.45pm when I call them to check on the whereabouts of the shuttle, only to be greeted by an answerphone saying they had closed for the day. Appalling service. It was only by luck that CT Limo still had a shuttle in the area and was able to pick me up, albeit at 12.30pm. I would suggest that you pay in advance, so they are obligated to pick you up. But, from other experiences, don't expect them to be on time - especially when picking you up from the airport. Have experienced waits of up to an hour. read more

Shuttle never showed up and I had to scramble to find another means of transportation to get her to the airport on time for her flight. Called the service center for explanation and was told that driver had a mechanical breakdown. They never bothered to inform the customer that they are not coming. I scheduled a pick up from Providence Rhode Island to Chicago Illinois. I paid in advance, and when I got to the airport in Chicago, there was no one there to pick me up. The guy at the taxi called them and they said they have no taxis available and no one to drive us. so I called customer service waited over an hour on the phone for someone to pick up and when someone did pick up the call , they couldn't get a taxi to pick us up. And said they would call us back and they never did so we had to take another taxi service to the hotel. I placed a call and email to them for four days and no called back even to this day nine days later, and then I get a email saying that my taxi service was cancelled when they never even attempted to pick us up. I demanded a refund When I finally got in touch with them. They said they would get back to me within 3 to 5 business days and never did. I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company to get a refund. Bad bad customer service I recommend that no one uses this service. I was expecting to have a taxi service waiting for me in a city that I never visited before, such a disappointment. read more

Absolutely terrible! Waited over an hour at JFK for the van to arrive. Then we drove around to different terminals to pick up more people. My flight came in at noon, got to Darien after 3:00. And I was lucky, 2nd to be dropped off. The return trip was a disaster. Thirty minutes late and still no van. I called the rude dispatcher, she said he was a couple minutes behind schedule. Another 20 minutes passes, I called again. Rude dispatcher said she doesn't know where he is and she'll send another car, he's 10 minutes away. 25 minutes later, still nothing. I called again, they said he's 2 minutes away. I called uber. The uber driver showed up in 5 minutes and Got me there on time. read more

I've used the service a few times in Chicago and never had a problem. Quick pickups at the airport, timely pick ups to go back. I've had the same driver the last 2 times and he is great. I finally signed up for the frequent ride program and that is what I have a problem with. The site to book a ride is easy, but trying to find anything out about your points, forget it. Sometimes I log in and it tells me there is no account, I try a different browser and I can log on, There is no "my points" tab that I have found. It seems to keep looping me back to sign up for an account. Their email support lacks, I emailed for help on something else and its been over a week with no response. To sum it up, their website for frequent riders has a lot to be desired, basically sucks. read more

What is the point of booking a pick up in advance if, when you arrive at the designated time and call, they say it will be a 40 min+ wait? You can't even cancel at that point and take one of other services that are available to leave sooner because they won't refund your fee. They just say this is the way it is with this company. So disappointed with this car service. Lack of communication and waiting at LaGuardia for two hours for pickup. Had to call five times to get updates and answers. Never again. We could have taken an Uber for half the price and been home by the time the driver showed up. They knew we were coming, they had our flight info and we still needed to give the driver directions once in the airport. Took the shuttle from Norwalk to JFK. The driver arrived 10 minutes early and helped to load all of my luggage. We hit traffic, but still made it with plenty of time for me to catch my flight. The driver was professional and outgoing. You can't beat this price for the level of professionalism and service. Will use them again :) read more

I waited on the phone for 13 minutes for the dispatcher (from the first position in the queue) to request pickup. Dispatcher said he wasn't near the phone when I called. Waited for just under an hour for pickup. Driver said he'd been waiting for 45 minutes in the parking lot. :-( Will try another service next time. read more

Poor service. I had a flight that was delayed and then by the time I got to the airport the shuttle service was closed. I waited at the airport for 2 and 1/2 hours for the service to open at 3 A.M.. Only to be told that pick-ups start at 6 A.M..
