One dealership had a nice 2011 with a 19,900 price tag but as soon as I started to negotiate on it, the 3 year warranty came out plus the warranty /insurance on the catalytic convertor. Now the price was $25k! including gst if yu did a cash deal. I left empty handed. I saw Jacky's advert on KIJIJI and went to look at it and it was good. No pressure and a straight forward process. The best thing was he didn't push a warranty and other hidden charges on me. He did offer a 3rd party warranty if I was interested, but that was it. The car only came with one key, and Jacky offered to get a second one made up for me at no charge. I really enjoyed the experiance with Platinum Fine Cars and I would reccomend them to anyone wanting a hassle free experiance.

I've experienced them all multiple times and I'm sorry to say but it's amazing how the stereotypes of a sleazy car salesman are alive and well in the industry.... That being said - I actually ENJOYED the experience of buying my Honda Civic at Platinum Fine Cars today! Jacky and Jacky were a complete breath of fresh air.. there were no "salesman lines" no sheisty hooks.. just 2 genuine, knowledgeable, and friendly professionals. I will recommend this establishment above all others to anyone looking to buy a used vehicle, hands down. Not a massive selection albeit a quality selection which I would take any day. Make this your first stop. I have faith that these men will not let you down.. worst case, you drive away empty handed with a renewed faith in the used car buying experience. Thank you guys for a very positive shopping experience.

No wonder they really wanted to change the fluids before I got there. 1k km after I purchased.... my fuel is the consistency of water. It falls off the dipstick extremly easy. And the smell of fuel is so strong in my oil.... I had to double check that I was looking at the right thing. And a ton of their reviews on different sites are 100% bots or friends of there's lol

Every cotter pin was also missing which could cause the front end to fall off at anytime. Akin is a crook who won't own up to being a scammer, claiming the inspection was out of his control and we must have done some mechanical damage. With all the Red Tag Sales going on, I strongly recommend that customers ask for the reference…read morenumber when they submit your application to Toyota Financial Services (1-866-224-0090). That number can protect you from situations like mine. Here's what happened. I was interested in getting the Toyota loyalty discount through Toyota Financial Services. I discussed it with the sales team and clearly told Jimmy about it. We signed the paperwork and were asked to wait in the lounge around 8:00 PM. Later we were called back and told the "good news" that everything was ready for signing. My wife asked about the interest rate, and the response was "we'll deal with it later." That already felt strange. Then I asked Jimmy if I got approved for the Toyota loyalty program. His response was: "YOU ARE DENIED at Toyota Credit." He said we were instead approved through Scotiabank. We felt disappointed but were also excited about the car, so we went ahead and signed the papers. On Monday, I called Toyota Financial Services directly. They told me that as long as my information hadn't changed significantly, my profile should still be good. They also said if I could provide the reference number, they could explain the decision. Wednesday I called the dealership and asked them to look into it. Thursday they submitted another application to Toyota Financial Services. Friday I got approved -- with a LOWER interest rate. So I called the finance director to express my disappointment. That's when I found out something shocking: the Toyota Financial Services office closes at 6:00 PM. Remember when we were sitting in the dealership at 8:00 PM and Jimmy told me my application was DENIED? That was impossible. My application was never denied. The status was simply waiting for assessment. Jimmy -- when I asked you directly and you told me "YOU ARE DENIED at Toyota Finance," do you feel proud about lying just to push the deal through? The difference in the interest rate over 72 months is about $3,000. For the dealership it's nothing. For the customer, it's thousands of dollars extra out of their pocket. My advice to everyone: Always ask for your application reference number and call Toyota Financial Services yourself. From my experience, it usually takes about a day to process an application. If you get "approved" within minutes but not through Toyota, you should seriously question what's going on.

READ UPDATE BELOW!…read more Original post: The entire staff from sales to financing were great. They really wanted my business and went above and beyond to get it. I highly recommend this Toyota dealership. **UPDATE** February 2025 - My first service department visit was an absolute gong show of nobody giving a darn! A huge pass the buck from the service valet, to the service receptionist, and eventually service manager. I had to get the sales manager involved for them to follow the FACTORY RECOMMENDATIONS in the car owners manual. (Oil change) The service manager also talked down to me like I was a child trying to rationalize why an oil change wasnt covered. It became evident she was clueless when she said that the factory recommendation in the owners manual was wrong! (Refused to change oil even though the manual recommends it from factory) She eventually said they'd do the oil change after realizing how clueless she sounded. And the service valet interrupting & arguing with me on my way to my car after service was a classless touch. The ENTIRE service department needs revamping! Buyer beware. Product may be good but service on my FIRST VISIT was abysmal. I have never been treated this poorly in my life! I will be contacting Toyota Canada to inform them of my horrendous experience. ****UPDATE #3 **** the General Manager (Mr. Kopec) mentioned to me in an email that he would appreciate me changing my Google review for the sake of the sales team. He didn't want them punished for the service departments mistreatment. (Yeah right...sell cars....who cares about the service) When I responded that I wouldn't, he said I was being hostile and showing too much disdain and said I was no longer welcome at the location. I've only been a member of the "Toyota family" for four months now. All this over an oil change they fought tooth & nail not to provide. If this is how they treat family....I'd hate to see how they treat friends & strangers!
