I had spent toww weeks hunting for a Toyota Highlander to tow my 17' trailer and I ran into a few small lots and a few dealerships. One dealership had a nice 2011 with a 19,900 price tag but as soon as I started to negotiate on it, the 3 year warranty came out plus the warranty /insurance on the catalytic convertor. Now the price was $25k! including gst if yu did a cash deal. I left empty handed. I saw Jacky's advert on KIJIJI and went to look at it and it was good. No pressure and a straight forward process. The best thing was he didn't push a warranty and other hidden charges on me. He did offer a 3rd party warranty if I was interested, but that was it. The car only came with one key, and Jacky offered to get a second one made up for me at no charge. I don't leave reviews very often.. if ever.. but I am more than happy to do it for this particular establishment. I hate the process of buying a vehicle.. dealership, used car lot.. I've experienced them all multiple times and I'm sorry to say but it's amazing how the stereotypes of a sleazy car salesman are alive and well in the industry.... That being said - I actually ENJOYED the experience of buying my Honda Civic at Platinum Fine Cars today! Jacky and Jacky were a complete breath of fresh air.. there were no "salesman lines" no sheisty hooks.. just 2 genuine, knowledgeable, and friendly professionals. I will recommend this establishment above all others to anyone looking to buy a used vehicle, hands down. Not a massive selection albeit a quality selection which I would take any day. Make this your first stop. I have faith that these men will not let you down.. worst case, you drive away empty handed with a renewed faith in the used car buying experience. I had purchased a 2011 Subaru Outback from Jacky, and have been blown away by the positive experience from Platinum. Upon purchase, I took the vehicle to my local mechanic to have another inspection done. My local mechanic noted that the rear brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. I contacted Jacky, upset that on their inspection it was noted that the brakes were in fine condition. Jacky offered to meet with me and to cover the costs of the rear brakes and rotors, as he was upset that the quality of the brakes had seemingly been misrepresented. Upon having the brakes and rotors replaced, it was evident that the mistake had been made by my local mechanic, and NOT by the inspection that Jacky had done. Jacky still covered the costs of the rear brake pads, rotors, and replaced the lug nuts as two of them were striped. He also threw in a serpentine belt, as my local mechanic had stated that the belt was cracked. Jacky went far ABOVE AND BEYOND what was expected to ensure that my vehicle was in a good condition and that I was satisfied with my purchase. Jacky did not need to cover these costs, as it was apparent that the mistake was made by my local mechanic, and not by Platinum's inspection. I am thoroughly amazed at the lengths that Jacky went to to address my concerns, and cover the costs even when the mistake was not theirs. I can not recommend Platinum and Jacky enough as the place to go for purchasing a vehicle. Jacky addressed my concerns, covered the costs, and went far above what was expected to ensure that I was satisfied with my purchase. Overall, I highly recommend Platinum, and give kudos to Jacky for going above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with my purchase. read more

We bought a mini van from Jacky. I emailed them to let them know we were coming the next morning to look at the van. I also left a message on their phone. To be fair, we had just had a dump of snow so when we got there, the men were busy shoveling snow. They didn't receive my messages, therefore the mini van wasn't ready. They went out and cleared the snow off. I noticed they had to boost the mini van to get it to start. They brought inside to warm up. It had been brutally cold so it was going to take awhile. I was disappointed when we had to leave and come back to take it for a test drive. I left the messages to avoid having to make 2 trips since we were coming from Sherwood Park. The mini van was in really good shape inside and out. It ran really well. The heater motor was really loud at first but then quieted down. I let Jacky know upfront how much money I had so that we wouldn't be wasting each other's time. It turned out the power lift didn't work. There was a low pressure sensor on. At first my husband wanted them to fix it before we purchased it. Since I only had so much money they wouldn't fix it. So my husband left without a sale. Soon after Jacky called me and said we could have the mini van as is for the amount of money I had. So we agreed and my husband went back the next day and purchased the vehicle. I think things could have been more prepared on their end, however they were polite and friendly and we got an amazing vehicle from them. I'm giving them 3 stars only because they weren't ready for us when we got there. The service was ok. They are relocating to a different lot. This may help them with better service as where they are, the cars are in the back where you can't see their inventory. It would have been better to have them in the front where you could drive up to them and look at the one you want. They were willing to deal with us and for that I'm very appreciative of them. read more
