I went to 12 PT sessions at Go Beyond Physical Therapy last year to help me with 2 work related injuries. I was reluctant at first as I was told that PT wouldn't help the type of injuries I had; carpal tunnel and a repetitive stress injury in my neck. I found the doctor there, Korey Piper, to be very skilled at diagnosing my issues and treating them. Her staff was always very responsive to my calls and questions and very professional. My neck pain and headaches have decreased considerably and I've learned how to reduce my wrist pain to a more manageable level and get off the mega doses of NSAID's I was taking. They gave me a plan to continue on my own and exercises I do every week to maintain the stability in my neck. read more

Go Beyond Physical Therapy has given me back a mostly pain free life! I suffered a fractured humerus bone in 2015. After a long recovery I still was in pain and I was limited in my activities. I made an appointment with Go Beyond Physical Therapy since the therapists have extensive background in treating the consequences of orthopedic injury. I was thoroughly evaluated at my first visit. We made a plan of beginning exercises that were progressively advanced as I made progress. In addition, I received hands on therapy that helped loosen my shoulder to relieve the pain and so that I could use my arm better. I have been more than pleased with my treatment and my outcome. I have better use of my arm and the pain that dogged me for years is not a problem. I will never accept a referral to any other physical therapy office after experiencing the superb treatment I've received from Korey as well as Ben. Over the years I have received treatment from a variety of physical therapy providers but after being seen at Go Beyond Physical Therapy I realize, treatment wise, what I've missed seeing other providers. It seems that the PT services I've received from other providers are somewhat templated- the PT sees you for 15 mins then sends you off to a PT aide who watches you do the exercises prescribed. I must have 1" of exercise handouts given to me from previous PTs, many the same. Appts at Go Beyond are different: first off you are not told ahead of time the amt of minutes your treatment will last (I think their scheduling allows them enough room to address the problem rather than watching the time) and secondly, yes, I receive exercises to do at home but these are not exercises I've received previously, despite symptoms similar to those treated by other providers, but ones that actually, in my case, have decreased the pain while doing them. I am very grateful to have found Go Beyond Physical Therapy. read more

Korey (along with my acupuncturist) was a crucial part of my long recovery from frozen shoulder. I feel qualified to rave about her care, having gone through several courses of PT before--she's next level. Her care was kind, attentive, and *customized* to what was happening each visit. None of that "do the exercises on this sheet of paper and I'll check on you in half an hour. She was a valuable resource for other things I was trying (exercises, heat therapy, etc). Some PT seems geared to reduce pain, less so to restore athletic function which was a priority for me. She helped me see progress during many painful months away from the activities I love. I'm back to doing the things that make me feel like me and she was my first email when I got back to Aikido shoulder pins. Go Beyond was recommended to me for treatment of plantar fasciitis that I've had for close to 4 months without making any improvement on my own. Fortunately, I had Joann as my PT and she was terrific. She analyzed and started me on a program to get me back to hiking on the trails again. Three years ago I went to Go Beyond Physical Therapy for treatment with Korey for a stubborn knee/ankle issue. I left a stellar five star Yelp review at the time because Korey's expert, professional care fixed my problem and allowed me to return to all my fitness activities. Recently I began experiencing some neck/shoulder problems so returned to Go Beyond Physical Therapy and am equally pleased and impressed. This time Ben is my therapist, and in just two weeks he has helped me diminish my pain drastically. He is skilled, knowledgeable and personable. As a nurse and fitness instructor I can't recommend Go Beyond Physical Therapy highly enough. I'd also like to add that even with the Covid pandemic in full swing I feel completely safe going there. The exam rooms are immaculate and sanitized between patients, all therapists and patients are masked, and patients are spaced so contact with other patients is limited and kept at six feet. I cannot recommend Korey at Go Beyond Physical Therapy highly enough. She is a proper hands on physical therapist who invests time in the manual aspect of therapy - something that is hard to find in therapists these days. I have been to several other well known therapist centres in the area and they just treated me as a number - not taking into account my specific leg injury. Korey also writes detailed progress reports and sends them to my surgeon so that she is aware of my progress. I didn't get this level of attention anywhere else.
