young lady helped us get into the car wash, there was a young kid trying to get us into the car wash, but for some reason, our other hold was on so he went to get help. Two men came out. One was very rude. . One man who is working in the computer seemed very nice.. but my big reason for this post was Nicholas. Nicholas detailed our car spent time in it, even though his lunch came as he was working on our car he took the time to detail it wipe it down and vacuum it. He did a great job.!! I took my small suv yesterday to get washed. Paid for the Go Big wash and went through the wash. Something told me to check and see if car was clean. It was not! The whole roof and the hatch still covered in grime. Went inside, young guys offered to send me back through. So I did. Still grime all over the hatch. Then I walked around the whole suv and the A-post covered in grit. Back inside again. This time to get a refund. Same young guy told me that they have been getting numerous complaints from customers and refunding all day. Even notified management and was told that management really didn't care. i stopped to get a full service car wash and didn't realize you had to pull your car to a different spot. When I came back for another wash, I mentioned to the manager that I had made this mistake and I laughed. He gave me a gift card and asked me to come back again because I hadn't gotten what I paid for! I wanted to make sure he knew it was MY fault, not the staffs. His response? "Well you didn't get what you paid for so you can come back and get another wash!" I was so impressed by that gesture that I've made this my regular stop. If I could negative stars I would. They charge you for full service just for some young person can not even do a halfway decent job. I laterally paid for full service just so I could leave with a dirty vehicle. First my vehicle sits after coming out of the wash so all the water drops can dry and spot up my vehicle, while to guys work on another vehicle. then finally a young person comes up to me and says"did you have full service, let me see your receipt ". (get it together) Then witnesses another cu be told he's done, followed by the customer going into his vehicle and getting a rag and begin cleaning all the parts the employee missed. Finally the employee working on my vehicle say you're done and like a puppy dog looking with anticipation of a treat the employee was for a tip. I'm like for what, I could clearly see dried soap and dirt smudges throughout the side of my vehicle. Wheels are dirty, there's liquid in my once dry cup holders because I don't use them because I don't drink in my vehicle. i now have go home and clean my vehicle. I'm leaving this feedback because after buying into their wash services when they renovated I was mistakenly convinced my cars would be getting a good soap, water and wax treatment (for a brush wash). Well, don't let all the bells a whistles at this place fool you. They are cutting corners and have changed the settings in the wash to barely put out enough water and soap to wash your car. On two occasions the top of my Kia Soul didn't even have water or soap on it after it went through the wash-like the dirt was literally just sitting on the top of the car untouched. So I'm done. I am very pleased with this place. It is not easy finding a good car wash that does thorough beautiful work. Usually when I go to a car wash they half vacuum and leave obvious spots that they didn't wipe down but I've come here twice now and both times my car has been spotless! The customer service is excellent, I paid for the top service wash, which included the lava bath and wax, but when I went through I only got the basic wash. When I brought it to their attention they offered a refund, I told them they can just refund me the difference between the basic and top wash but he ended up giving me a full refund even for the full service portion. I thought that was going above and beyond what was necessary and I'll definitely be making this my go-to car wash from now on. read more

AMAZING! I cannot believe how great this car wash is. Today was my first time visiting this location and I will be back. For $25 my car looks almost as good as new. Words cannot describe how happy I am with this place. Special shout out to Renee who did an amazing freak'n job. I just discovered that their normal basic wash doubled in price from five dollars to $10 effective November 1... I used to love coming to Route 3 Car Wash because they always had coupons, the prices were great and the service was even better! Today everything was different and disappointing. I planned to use a $5 off full service coupon which I found on their website. The only stipulation was that it couldn't be used on Tuesday, but today was Wednesday. Upon arrival and showing them my coupon, no one A) Knew how to enter and coupon and B) Wanted to accept it. I showed them on my phone where it was on their website and I went back and forth for five minutes over a $5 coupon. At that point I should have just drove off and gone somewhere else. Finally they found a person who took $5 off my bill. But just a note, they don't accept coupons from their website now, even though they are still up on the website. I got the $15 wash plus the $10 interior add on, which includes vacuum, interior wipe down, minor stain removal spray, it's just an overall cleaning in general. They did a really fast job and I was out of there in no time. I should have looked my car over before I left! Once I drove off, I realized they didn't vacuum my passenger front seat, nor did they wipe my center console down, and my navigation console was smudged with finger prints. Then when I got to my destination, the grocery store, I saw that they didn't bother vacuuming my trunk. My car is a small hatchback and I keep it fairly clean. But with all of the winter weather comes messes and I really craved a thorough clean. I was so irritated because if I am going to pay you to vacuum my car, I want to be vacuumed. After I left the grocery store, I passed back by Route 3 car wash and pulled in so they could fix their mistakes. The first guy I saw recognized me and didn't seem too thrilled to see me. I told him about how my car was basically half cleaned and I'd like it fixed. He was clearly irritated with me and told me to pull in. The guy who cleaned the mess left behind was much nicer. I was very nice to him to entire time and apologized for being such a bother. I'm glad they fixed it but I shouldn't of had to come back a second time. It's also going to rain a lot the next few days and their rain policy isn't great. I'm from Richmond and I'm used to car wash places down there offering a free basic wash after rain. At Route 3 you have to buy the $15 wash and I was told they take $2-$3 off. I feel like the staff has changed since I last came. The associates were almost mean to each other when talking. I felt like I was bothering them by bringing my car in the first place, and then even more when I had to bring it back. It's not the nice, friendly, and affordable car wash I once knew. read more

Upgraded equipment then upgraded prices and reduced service for existing monthly customers without any prior notification or grace period. Questionable business practices with regards to existing monthly customers. I added the monthly service to my new vehicle last month. Today I came in to get a wash and was told I must either sign up for a new monthly contract that cost 5.00 more or terminate my contract. This caught me off guard because I was just enrolled less than 30 days ago and the renovation where nearly complete. I was signed up for a package and price that the business most likely knew was being discontinuing. The classic bate and switch. I question this businesses ethical practices . I would proceed with caution when considering this establishment. I failed to mention I have been a monthly customer since the company began offering the service and at one time had it for 3 of my vehicles. read more

I don't usually write reviews or give $20 tips. But this place has me doing both! I'm not sure if they're under new management, or what? But the last two times we went, my car has come out SPOTLESS! Much cleaner than the other places I've taken my company car to. They even took the time to take out the rubber floor mats and power washed them! I have a toddler who destroys the backseat and he cleaned every hidden spot, pulled out the carpets and cleaned the grill of the exterior. Please ask for him when you come! They do a great job if you can get past the gate and cars backing up behind you. Bought a month of washes and it read my license plate and the gate opened without an attendant. The second month I bought pulled up and the gate would not open. No place on the screen to say read my plate and open the gate. Cars backed up behind me. Attending talking to the guy next door. After waiting 5 minutes, the attendant comes over and I said gate will not open. He went down by my plate, flashed his card on the machine and the gate opened. So what is supposed to be automatic became a manual process but only after the conversation with the car next door stopes and the manual process is done after cars wonder why I am not getting through. I went there today. Met the regular "rude" old attendant dude at the gate. He told me to clean out my truck bed and pull off the antenna. Then I was informed of the double price increase. I asked him to make room for me to back out, went across the street and for $1 got two minutes of soap and rinse. Not a super wash but with a rag wipe down, just saved $9 bucks. People love their food, dogs, and cars in Spotsytucky, but this place is now on my naughty list. read more

My first time here today! I had been going to Santa Fe for years at Central Park just because it was there. They have been going downhill for awhile now so I decided to shop around and the reviews for this place looked good. After pulling in, my initial impression was the place looked clean and the layout efficient. The employees were very polite and courteous. Even with the current distancing restrictions I was out of there within 15-20 min including the full service option. There were a few touch up spots I took care of when I got home but this wasnt a $200 detail service so it's to be expected. For what I paid they went above and beyond with the process. Gives a great car wash when you added $10 to the $5 basic wash BUT. . . Recently raised the price $7, OR OVER 50% increase (from $15 ( basic $5 plus $10 to the $10 wash PLUS $12 for a total of $22!). This past Saturday was the Marine Corps 243rd birthday, so what else does a Marine do besides eat cake and have a beer, but wash his truck of course. I paid $15.00 to have the LAVA wash since this type of wash is for deep cleaning according to the clerk. As I exit the wash, my truck was not even close to being dry, which was included in the $15.00 and the tail gate of the truck as well as the passenger side panels still had massive amounts of dirt remaining. I located the site manager and I said "I'm not trying to nitpick, but my truck is still very dirty after the wash" he looks at me and says "it kind of sounds like you are nitpicking". I was floored, he turns and says would you like another car wash, I said no, I want a refund which I received. I could not believe the manager could be so unprofessional. What great service! Came on a Sunday which I assumed would be busy and it was, but boy was the crew working that day ON POINT! Got the Add on Full Service for $12, worth every penny! Got a $49.99 membership which was great because I could just pop in and get my GTI taken care of any day of the week. The good thing about this membership is you can get reduced prices on clay bar treatments but never did as I moved away from the area. The guys were always quick and did a good job. I went to Route 3 Car Wash today for the first time. I came here because I wanted a full service interior cleaning and the car wash closest to my house does not offer full service. I explained that as I entered and the gentleman who greeted me was very pleasant and asked what services I was looking for. I was impressed that he did not try to push the most expensive wash. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Kaufman was the one to do my full service and he did an excellent job. He was very efficient and did the job correctly. I would definitely recommend coming here. I spent less money today then at the other car wash and got my car hand dried, tires hand cleaned, and the interior vacuumed and wiped down to include removing my weather tech mats and scrubbing them.
