They said there is a 30 day warranty only and since I called them after that time, they would not send a technician out. 30 days? Wow. That speaks to their confidence in their own ability. We purchased an 8 person bar height table from Sams. The top was so heavy we could not move it from the garage (where it was delivered) to the back patio. We called Go Configure based on Sams Club recommendation to move and assemble the table. The assembly was not the issue, the weight of the table too was. There was some communication issues with GO Configure and the local "tech" and only one person arrived. It was "Jon". Jon quickly realized he could not move the table alone and got another tech out to help. Jon made the experience very positive. They moved the heavy items and got it all assembled. If I could give this company less than 1 star I would. Purchased a gazebo installation back in March and six weeks later the builder canceled the same day of the install due to an accident. After multiple days of calling Go Configure to get a reschedule date with another builder, another appointment was scheduled another six weeks out. A few days before the second installation day, once again Go Configure called due to an accident with the builder and canceled. Was told the same story as the first time that they would call me in a few days to reschedule but nothing so far. This is so unprofessional and inexcusable. I want to file a complaint with their corporate office, but I keep being told by the rep on the phone that it "it does not get higher than them"??? At this rate, summer will be over before the installation finally happens. Consistently giving your customers the run around is not the way to do business at all. read more

I wouldn't recommend this company for any purpose. I had an outdoor sectional assembled by one of their contractors on Saturday 6/12. This gentleman showed up with a child to help him assemble and after he left, I had to go back through and reassemble multiple pieces myself. He came back to fix part of it but complained about having to go back to Pueblo. I paid $180 to have this assembled for poor quality assembly. After speaking with their customer service this morning I was told that since I waited two days to contact them (I waited til the next business day) and had signed off on the work being completed that they assume that the work is done sufficiently. Poor customer satisfaction standards so if you choose to purchase from Home Depot, I highly recommend against purchasing their "professional" assembly because it will be from Go Configure. read more

We bought a gazebo and assembly from sams club, gazebo was delivered on March 18th 2024, build was scheduled a month later. It was raining that day with a window of 9 to 1pm, they called at 1:10pm and said they would not be able to install and to call and make another appointment, it was to be a month later before they could be there. Still have not had the gazebo build as it was raining again, rescheduled for a week later, and rain they rescheduled for the 11th of May 1-5 window. We'll see what happens. read more

I was shocked to find a number on our swing set box, but I called and and got in the calendar. The technician was on time, fully prepared and set up a difficult swing set up in record time. Called three times to book an appointment. Each time, the scheduler could not be reached and we were told that we would receive a call back (which never happened). Finally received an appointment time FOUR WEEKS after the purchase of our play structure. The day before install, we receive a confirmation text for the next day's appointment. We reply 'yes' to confirm the appointment. Then, not even two hours later, Go Configure calls us to CANCEL the appointment and tells us we have to wait to get a new install date. Fed up, we call to cancel the assembly and they keep 250 dollars from the fee we paid them. This is absolute robbery since they provided NO SERVICES. DO NOT book with them. We ordered a playset from Sam's club. When we purchased the set we were told it would be 2wks turn around time for the install and we would receive a call. Never received a call so we called them to get the ball rolling. When we talked w someone we were told 14biz days from the time it was delivered. Well the delivery came and went without an install date. Finally we got a text w our appointment date/time...it was a MONTH out!! We weren't going to wait a month when we were told 2wks when we purchased the install package on top of the swing set. A call to a higher management at go configure seemed to the trick, it was either hold your word on 2wks or refund our install payment and we would go somewhere else. Management not only moved our install date to the appropriate timeframe but done ON Memorial Day (yesterday) way quicker then we were told on our last call but we were thrilled!! Kurt and Anthony came to our home about 730 and were done by 2ish. They were so adamant on finishing the set that they worked in the total downpour of a rain storm. I ordered a treadmill which was delivered two weeks ago. The delivery truck surprised me by arriving an hour before the morning window they set. I had already paid Go Configure to install it between 3-7. I called them after 7 b/c they were no-shows. I was told the crew was running behind, and they did show up at about 8. Only to tell me the treadmill was too heavy and unwieldy to move to its designated site w/o a crew of 4 not 2. I was disappointed but they said they'd scheduled a new date right away. I didn't hear from them so I called them a day later. This became a daily routine, with the treadmill sitting in the middle of our living room. Until a week later when was fed up and reached out to the company I bought the treadmill from - Horizon Fitness. They said they send a lot of business to Go Configure and they'd contact them b/c a week's delay was unacceptable. No word from Go Configure. I called them on Thursday the 24th. And yes, they finally gave me a date! Installation was finally slated for yesterday between 3-7. And what happened? You guessed it. No-shows again as of 7. I called and asked and they said the crew was running behind. I called again at 8 and they said we're sorry we have to reschedule. At that point I blew my stack. I had called them about a dozen times, daily, and been civil and polite. Two weeks later what was the payoff? Nothing. No date on the calendar, no treadmill set up, no guarantee they'd deliver, ever. And I have now unpacked the treadmill and doubt it's even a 4-person job (it's not that big or heavy). I demanded my refund, in the midst of choice words about being treated terribly. All they had to do was 1) be honest, if you're busy and have to set a date further out in the future than you're able to, just set it and stick with it so your customers have some certainty; and 2) just get the damn job done within a reasonable period of time, this was/is not a big move/installation. And now I am worried that they won't refund my money. I will call them daily, my new routine it seems, but may have to escalate to get any results. In short, do not trust this company. read more

Treadmill is beautiful. Delivery was okay. Had to find a way to move it from the driveway into the desired room. After a week of having the treadmill here the technicians came and set it up for me. Unfortunately I'm not lucky because my center console is not working properly but the technicians documented that for me so hopefully a resolution will come soon. Really bad experience. I have paid ~$600 for GoConfigure to order the wrong parts for my broken treadmill, and to order a technician to come out twice to my address to examine parts delivered to my address and check the treadmill, twice telling me that GoConfigure had ordered the wrong parts. This happened over the course of more than two months. Now they are telling me that I would owe $1313.18 for additional parts and repair service. This is nearly twice the current cost of the treadmill that I would have liked to repair. Very bad business. read more

Prior to him coming out to complete repairs that turned out to have been a shady install from the first two guys who were sent out for the original installation, we would have given Go Configure 1 star. The first installers basically just put the Pergola up without securing it by using all the required parts. So Go Configure had to order another complete parts package from the pergola company. Jason texted the night before he was to arrive to complete the repairs to confirm the time. He arrived On Time as confirmed. It's been 2 more weeks. They office (Jeanie) was supposed to have a new repair technician out to fix the issues with my gazebo install. The gazebo is now leaning and is a safety concern. They scheduled someone to come out today. I get a call from...the some horrible technician that put it together in the first place. "Hey I received a repair order but no details on what's wrong. Can you send me some pictures? I don't want to drive out there if I don't know what's wrong. I don't have experience putting these together, that was my first one. GoConfigure hasn't given me any details." So clearly the issue is now the business is run poorly, there's zero communication with their field techs, they sub contract all of the work and have zero control over scheduling. This company is a joke. Keith, who is in charge of the field technicians is supposed to be following up, as he's the one who made the decision to send out the same crew to repair what they messed up, despite them having no experience with this product type (gazebos in general). Will update again when I hopefully get a resolution with the bs. read more

I only interaction we have had with this company is when they call/ email us to schedule. 6 times they have rescheduled on us! And it's almost always about two weeks later. Like in about 2.5 months they can't find the time to do a job they get paid to do? Go on FB and find a local group who can help you find a local assembly person, you'll have better luck. DO NOT TRUST WITH YOUR MONEY! Awful, terrible service. In late April we called to see if the company still had technicians working. We had bought a swing set for our girls in March but couldn't find anyone to help assemble it. They had no one locally, so we moved on. They called about a week later and said they had a technician closer now who would call us in 48hrs to schedule assembly. They charged us, which seemed odd but ok since the tech would be calling soon. We had to call twice over the course of 10 days to FINALLY get an appointment, that was 2.5 weeks away on May 29th. After missing the four hr window my husband called and was promised the tech would be there. 20 min later he was called and told we would need to reschedule as the "techs truck broke down"; no date for the reschedule. It had been a month since we were charged, so I called back. I was told there was nothing they could do to bump us up. I called the following day to get our money back but was promised the best manager was looking into our job. She knew the tech personally (new guy now, apparently the original tech no longer was with the company) and was doing everything she could to get him out that week. That was Sat... I had heard nothing and called back Wed. They had made us an appointment at the end of the month, 4 weeks away. They were "going to call us" that day to inform us. All lies, I have no faith anyone is coming. Now I will have to fight for my money back AND find someone new. It was expensive, mind you, but for the time save I figured it was worth it. 1). this isnt discussed anywhere when you initially say you want their service. They charge you to move a box from the garage to the work site-even if its 50 feet away 2). They ask for dates your are available-they schedule the first time on one of the days I did not list. 3). After calling to reschedule it took another prompting after two weeks to even get this accomplished. 4). now comes the day of install. They said the would arrive between 8-12 and would give an hour notice when they were on their way. 1130. no word. Called them; they said they would get in touch with the technician and they were probably running late. 130pm, still NO ONE. I called again. They said they couldn't call the technician (interesting statement considering the first time around they said they would) and that they would have the district office contact me to discuss what happened and how to reschedule. 5). I never heard back from them. I called the next morning at 830 and requested a call back. at 1130 there was still no return of my phone call. I called again, waited 30 minutes to finally talk to someone to get a refund. Needless to say it was a LOT of headaches for no good outcome or reason. read more

Terrible customer service and professionalism. Ordered an exercise bike. Paid in full for assembly. The contract agreement stated, the assembly company would call/email to set an appointment, as they keep track of deliveries. The product was delivered, but after 5 days of waiting, I made contact. An appointment was scheduled 2-days later. The assembler never arrived. Didn't call to say running late...nothing. I called and asked what's the ETA. I was informed my appointment had been canceled because he had car trouble. The assembler also admitted, I lived out of his way...far from his home and he didn't really want to drive out of his way. OK! Despite this, he reluctantly rescheduled for the next day same time. I believed he was professional and sincere. Canceled a 2nd time with zero notice. No arrival. No call. Nothing. I called once again, but this time no one would pick up the phone. So I text, and The assembler did text back stating, the appointment once again was canceled and I'd been taken completely off his schedule, because of his car trouble. WOW! From the prior conversation, I do not believe the car trouble story and I would guess when applying for a job, the company lets you know, your service area. Needless to say, I'm now requesting a full refund of my Assembly charges and will find another way to put my bike together. I also contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges. What an absolute joke! We spent the entire morning clearing our deck in preparation to receive our Sam's Vlub pergola delivery in Richmond Hill, GA. We were supposed to receive a call 30 minutes prior to arrival and the window was 10-2:00. At 1:45 my husband called and left a message. He received a call back and was provided with an explanation of that the delivery driver went to pick up at Sams this morning and the packaging was damaged. While I appreciate not reviving damaged goods WHY DID NO ONE TELL US?!! We took time off of work and spent hours getting the space ready. Very ridiculous that we received no call from company. We used the company to assemble a Bowflex Xtreme 2. It was difficult getting an appointment since we always got an automated messaging center. It took several calls and emails to confirm the appointment. However, the technician was great. He assembled the unit in less than an hour and it worked perfectly. Absolutely impossible to get a hold of. You will call them repeatedly to schedule an appointment, the person on the phone will ask you for three days that work for your schedule, they'll tell you that you should get an e-mail in 2-3 business days to schedule your appointment, you probably won't get a call or appointment scheduled... and in the rare case that you do get the e-mail, they've scheduled you for a day that you're not available and you have a doctor's appointment or something else. You will then get on the phone and call Go Configure again, only to be on hold again for 40-90 minutes, repeat this process three times a week until you have an aneurism. Then you'll call Nautilus who you ordered your machine from and try to escalate the situation. Repeat this for several months and you will still have a broken machine sitting in your house. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had with assembly. First, they never contacted about my assembly (were they just hoping to pocket the $200 fee and not have to do the job?) Secondly, every time I contacted them they said "we'll have so and so give you a call back"... and guess what? NEVER a call back. After I paid for the service, they scheduled my treadmill setup about 10 days out. They called a day prior to the setup date and 30 minutes prior to when they arrived. This is the worst company I've ever had to deal with (including cable companies) - leading to my first ever Yelp review. I ordered a cabinet from Home Depot. Home Depot uses Go Configure for the assembly. The cabinet was delivered on 1/10 with the assembly appointment scheduled for 1/13. This would have been fine, but the technician never showed up on 1/13. Go Configure told me he was delayed. Unexpected issues come up, so I couldn't be too upset at this point. Go Configure rescheduled the assembly appointment to 1/16. Again, the technician doesn't show up. Go Configure reschedules the assembly appointment to 1/17, and for a third time, the technician doesn't show up. After the third no-show, Go Configure tells me they'll assign the appointment to another technician. On 1/19 I learn our next appointment won't be until the following week, 1/26, and the window for the appointment is 5pm - 9pm. I had been very flexible, leaving open business hours during almost the entire week, but this is the only time slot available, which did not work for me. It would have been another week or two before the technician could come during regular business hours. At this point I told them to cancel the appointment. It's obvious that I'll be much better off assembling the cabinet myself. The upside is I only need to go through Home Depot to get the cost of the assembly refunded, so (hopefully) I never need to interact with Go Configure again. read more
