Go Port - Great Going to the Port, Frustrating Return to the Airport I recently used Go Port for roundtrip transportation between Orlando International Airport and Port Canaveral for my Carnival cruise. My experience going to Port Canaveral was excellent. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and helpful, and the transfer went smoothly. Based on that experience, I was very pleased with my decision to use Go Port. Unfortunately, my return transportation from Port Canaveral to Orlando Airport was a completely different experience. I checked in at the pickup location without any issues and boarded the bus at approximately 8:45 AM. However, we sat there for nearly an hour before departing at approximately 9:57 AM. More than 25-30 passengers were already on board, yet no one could provide a clear answer about when we would leave. The situation was even more frustrating because, about 15 minutes later, another Go Port bus pulled up beside us and departed with only one passenger, while our bus remained parked with more than 30 passengers. When asked when we would be leaving, the driver could not provide an answer. I later asked a Go Port agent about the departure process and was told that buses should generally wait only approximately 15 minutes before departing. I purposely got off the cruise ship early because I was trying to catch an earlier flight from Orlando. Since Go Port advertises that its transportation service begins at 7:00 AM, I did not expect to board around 8:45AM and then remain at the port for nearly another hour. I understand that this is a shared transportation service and that buses may not depart immediately after every passenger boards. However, there should be a clear and consistent departure protocol, especially for airport transportation when passengers have flights to catch. Why isn't there a set departure schedule or maximum waiting time from Port Canaveral to Orlando International Airport? Even a simple announcement such as, "This bus will depart at 9:30 AM," would give passengers a clear expectation. My transportation to the cruise port was awesome, but the return experience was frustrating and unnecessarily stressful. Better communication and a more consistent departure schedule would significantly improve the overall Go Port experience. read more

It was so convenient to have everything from our airport arrival, hotel and shuttles between those and our cruise ship all taken care of in one step. Only negative was our almost two hour wait when we landed before our hotel shuttle showed up. All the shuttles after that plus the hotel shuttles to local shops nearby were excellent. The drivers were timely, friendly and efficient! The pick up at our hotel and drop off at the cruise terminal was easy and finding them to go to the airport was too. Drop off at Orlando airport less so! They only drop off at terminal A and that isn't clearly enough announced that it's possibly a problem. My mother gets a wheelchair at the airport because she can't walk super long distances, well we flew JetBlue which flies out of terminal c. Once you are dropped off you see it's a 20-25 minute walk and since jet blue isn't right there we couldn't get moms wheelchair attendant. We ended up borrowing a southwest chair and then my sister was pushing my nice in her stroller, her roller suitcase and 3 hand bags. I had two other roller bags 3 carry ons. My 4 year old nephew pushing his roller bag kept breaking down it was too much for him. I'll leave a similar review for Orlando airport but ya gotta let people know this stuff cause guess what there was no one to push mom with all our hands full! read more

The bus was approximately an hour late. There was so much luggage piled on one of our bags that it tore the rugged plastic open at the bottom of the luggage. We had to run to make our flight which was nearly impossible with a destroyed luggage bag. In addition, the driver nearly ran into a car on the interstate going to MCO (Orlando International AirPort. He stopped so abruptly that everyone was forced forward in a violent fashion- the driver was looking at a different lane when this happened. read more

The check in process was the only positive. For starters the bus didn't have any heat on the whole entire time from loading to getting to the airport It was 26 degrees in Orlando , unacceptable. After we left our cruise terminal we had to go to another cruise terminal to pick up more passengers because they overbooked the bus they had at that cruise terminal. Bus service between Orlando Int'l Airport and Port Canaveral cruise terminals. Full size buses used on approximate 30 minute intervals. Buses leave Orlando between 10am and 12:30pm. Buses leave ports between 8am and 10:30am. Buses are clean and well maintained. Check in at the airport is on level 1 of terminal A. There is a large counter in the rental car area along with plenty of seating. At the cruise terminal there is a small kiosk (driver will tell you where as it varies per terminal). Round trip is $60 per person. It takes about 45 minutes to make the trip plus stopping to drop off at the terminals. read more

We booked a 9 day cruise out of Port Canaveral. We would fly in 3 days before to sightsee in Orlando. We didn't want to rent a car and Uber from MCO to Port Canaveral would be expensive. My google search found GOPORT. They had shuttle service with hotel deals that included pick up from MCO to a hotel then whenever your embarkation day is, shuttle service from the hotel to the ship and transportation back to MCO when your cruise is done. Pick up from MCO was a little confusing because we had to walk from Terminal B to Terminal A for pick up but we were picked up within half an hour after picking up our baggage from baggage claim. When it was time to depart from the hotel to Port Canaveral the pick up bus arrived within 20 minutes of the pickup one hour window. The bus was comfortable with strong cool A/C and comfortable seats. We arrived to Port Canaveral in 40 minutes that was early enough from our ship check in time. After our cruise, we walked outside the ship terminal and found our bus pick up spot easily. We met with GOPORT workers who checked us in quickly and a bus was already waiting to take ourselves and other cruise passengers back to the airport. The bus was clean with nice cool A/C. The drive to MCO was as expected with no traffic issues. Drop off was again at Terminal A but we already know our way around the airport to head back to Terminal B. If we vacation back to Orlando and or book another cruise that starts in Port Orlando, we will book with GOPORT again. read more

We used Go Port for transortation from Port Canaveral to Orlando Airport. Extremely easy to book, find once off the cruise and straight forward and clear directions from all of their staff. Once off of our Carnival Cruie, their eno sign outside was easy to find. All documentation made finding them super simple. A great experience from booking, to utilizing the coach bus to the airport. You can choose a Stay - Transfer to cruise line and transport back to teh airport as one package with their participating hotels. I woudl recommend booking as early as you can for the best rates. Using them for the first time, i just booked the one-way end of my cruise to the airport. I would use Go Port again. read more

I have never used them before. We had 2 back to back cruises. I had to make two separate bookings. I wish that would've been done in one reservation, like other sites, as that would've been faster, but it wasn't a big deal. When we got there, we were welcomed by a nice, newish looking parking lot. I found a spot under a tree, in the shade, which are hard to come by in Florida's sun. Then to the bus. We have never taken an actual big bus to the cruise terminal. It's always been either a big van or a smallish bus. By the time we got in, the bus was full. We still had some seats. On the way back, the bus was relatively empty. The driver waited for a bit then left. I was a bit concerned that he'll wait again to fill up the bus, but he didn't. That would've been concerning as it is a pretty big bus to wait to fill. Luckily he didn't. In the end, a good all in all experience. I just hope they'll add Serenade of the Seas to their list as we're taking it in August and now they only show Star and a Carnival ship. read more

This was an excellent experience. I booked an overnight hotel stay with parking for a 7- night cruise. Hotel check-in was quick and painless; my name and ID was all I needed. All at the lot is good, too. Parking is self-service, but the driver helped unload bags from our vehicle. Parking spaces are wide enough for doors to be opened without endangering other cars, yet close enough to the shuttle bus to obviate a long hike. Restrooms are accessible and clean. The bus ride is about ten minutes to port. The driver also assisted with handling baggage at the port. The post-cruise experience was just as seamless, with signs at the port directing us to the bus loading area and the same great service to get us back to our car. For a less cost than parking and a hotel stay booked separately, this service represents an amazing value! read more

It was my first time using Go Port, so using their modern website was helpful when comparing with other shuttle services; some of the other shuttle services website were outdated and weren't too sure if they were reliable. On the day of the cruise, a Go Port representative was waiting for us and other travelers at our hotel lobby to check-in our luggages and help take them into the bus. We actually used Go Port back in Feb/Mar 2025 as our transportation between MCO (Orlando International Airport) and Port Canaveral. The kiosk to check in is WAY at the farthest end of the baggage claim area, so we forewarned about that. It was a little chaotic in the area as multiple buses were coming in and out, but you do get a specific tag for your bags that is their key as to what bus you're on and what cruise terminal you're going to. It's about a 45min drive, so we had a chance to nap on the way. The staff were friendly, and the buses we were on were comfortable. They do make announcements as they are coming up to each cruise line/terminal number so those passengers can gather their things and get off quickly. And the pickup was a breeze. The obviously keep track of cruise times and flight times (you do need to provide that information when booking). The price was incredibly reasonable - much cheaper than a taxi or uber/lyft/etc service. I spent $120 for both myself and my husband... and that's round trip! I've recommended Go Port to others online via Carnival Facebook Groups, and to family and friends who would be flying into MCO and cruising out of Port Canaveral. If we were to go on another cruise through that port, there is absolutely no doubt that I would schedule our transportation to/from with Go Port. Definitely use them - you won't be sorry! read more

We got to Orlando and found our pickup and the next day they had an agent in the lobby right during the window to take us to the port. They are extremely organized. Never, never ever use. It is a rip off. Through no fault of our own our flight was canceled out of Newark airport due to severe weather and a tornado watch and no other flights were available for several days And we checked airports all around us. We even missed our cruise. It is not right as we are in our 70's and do not no when we will be able to travel again due to health. So I guess GoPort gets rich off of other peoples misfortunes. Someone needs to look into this. I wouldn't even give it 1 star. I used Go Port for cruise parking for the cruise I just took. Parking per day is about $8 for me, and I was on a 7 day cruise. The pricing was very reasonable and transport was super simple. We drove to the lot and just parked in a spot. After that, we just checked in and waited to board the bus with our luggage. Once we arrive at the terminal, the driver helps unload the luggage to the port people and they take it from there. On the return, there were two check in booths, one for airport shuttle and the other for parking. There were clear signs to help navigate to their booths in the terminal.
