You can also buy certain supplies such as first aid kits and cpr kits here. You sign up for the classes online and you can pay by credit card. There are at least classes once a week. Parking is scarce so come early. Park by the Van Wyck highway, there are no meters there. If you don't, you are going to have to pay for parking. The classes "fly" by quickly.

It was just me and him but it went smoothly and quickly. He turned on the video for me to see the movements I would have to demonstrate. He maintained a running dialogue and kept information grounded to real world, every day life use. He assisted in my stance and even ran through a practice scenario in which we played it like it may happen in the future. At the end, I had the option to do additional modules for children and infants, etc. but I declined. This class is not expensive at all - especially when you factor in that he's teaching you life saving techniques. I opted to return again, this time with my family so we all can learn children and infant cpr as we have a preschooler in the house and now that I've vetted the place, I've confident that the experience and information being presented to us will be done the same way. He offers same day certification and will give you your card on the spot after class is over. I very highly recommend if you are looking to learn CPR and be taught the information in such a way that it's understandable and retainable, come here.

I had my training in Queens Rego Park and ended up having a private class which was great! The course is based on watching videos and practice on dolls and knowledge check by the instructor. I did feel accomplished by the end of the class and confident that I can do it. What's maybe good to mention for other women... The Rego Park location is in a semi basement setting of a private building which made my entrance experience and the first few minutes a bit uncomfortably (as a woman) I had to become comfortable at first since I was the only one taking that class that day in the afternoon. But the teacher was very professional, experienced and made me feel comfortable/ safe quickly.
