This facility is located off of Yellowstone Boulevard in Queens Boulevard making parking very difficult so I suggest trying to use public transportation. Cali Fisher was my instructor and she is fantastic. Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and was very kind to all of us. The room was well-equipped with the necessary objects needed for the class and it was a clean room however it's VERY cold so seriously bring a sweater. Definitely recommend. read more

My third time getting my cpr certificate from here. Scheduling is very easy, staff is very friendly. So far I've lucked out with find parking right outside the building every time. I just took my cpr bls renewal course on Saturday with Paul and it was great! Paul is personable, informative, excellent instructor and kept the class interesting. I would highly recommend coming here to get your certifications. Definitely save your book! I used my book from 2 years ago this past weekend and saved about $15 on that. read more

I haven't taken class with CPR123 since they were in their old location over at Kew gardens. The new location is much more spacious and up to date, but the classroom we were in had rain coming through the windows the whole day. If I'm paying $150-270 for a class I expect to feel comfortable and dry in class. Other than that, my instructor was wonderful. Thanks Stacy! I had been a hospital corpsman pretty officer in the 80's, and for professional reasons-working construction with an interest in ACE gym trainer/ownership has caused me to get cpr and AED certified-took the Heartsaver training course with CPR123 Foresthills location. Reflecting upon years past being intensely trained at the Naval School of Health Sciences as a Hospital Corpsman, and laboratory technician I can honestly say this first level of training course was very well presented and taught at a highly professional manner. To my amazement, there were significant changes in CPR from the 80's and I'm very grateful to be currently certified to the CPR123 school and staff. read more

Took my BLS course here. Easy sign up and great staff. The class was straight forward and was targeted to ensure we passed the test. The room and equipment seemed clean and well maintained. Got my AHA card emailed to me the same day which was great. Definitely recommend this place although if you're driving, parking is tricky. Registration for the class was super easy and the administrative side of signing up was a breeze. The classroom is located in an easy to navigate part of Queens, helpful for someone like me who's not local - and arrived a little late The class was presented in a very, very easy to understand fashion. Instructor, Mike Russo is a true asset to CPR123. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does and it shows. I worked the overnight shift the night before a 9:30 class and didn't doze off because he was so hands on and informative. I have done CPR training at two other facilities before coming to CPR123 queens and the training here by far was the best, most thorough and exciting class I have been to! My instructor Thomas Capiello had strong command of the material and was very knowledgable. I feel extremely confident in being able to perform CPR safe and effectively thanks to him. Just took my ACLS with Stacy Coleman, she was awesome. Stacy was high energy, engaging and I didn't even notice the 6 hrs that went by. Although this was my recert, I still learned a ton and had a lot of things reinforced. I've been taking my certification/recerts with this company for a long time and they are the best. Every year I go to CPR123 in queens for certification of BLS. The instructors are experienced, knowledgeable and easy going. I recently had the pleasure of having Stacy as an instructor and she made kept the class comfortable and informative as she gave different scenarios which help and were quite entertaining to hear. LoL.... the equipment and area used was very clean and easy to utilize. The front desk receptionist was pleasant and helpful as well. This is the go to place for any BLS and ACLS CPR training at an affordable price. Trust me I work for a hospital and they charge almost $40 more than what CPR123 charged me. read more

I took my ACLS class with an experienced EMT last year of August 2013. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and has a sense of humor. The class is not boring or overwhelming at all since he will break down complex information to make it simpler. Overall, I enjoyed the class. Although this is a late review, I am compelled to write one because of the great services and professionalism they demonstrated. I just got accepted for staff nurse position in Emergency Room at hospital in the city. I could not find my ACLS card so I called and spoke to a female employee who provided me with details on how I can obtain a new one. Problem solved. All I need to do is pick it up in any CPR123 location. read more

CPR123 has always been my go to certification center since before I became a nurse mainly due to the facility being certified by the American Heart Association. I came to renew my BLS for health providers at this location with Paul. I was pleased with my experience with him. He's knowledgeable, he made the information easy to remember and helped me make sure I performed all the skills correctly. Everyone including the receptionist was kind and respectful, after I finished my exam another instructor there was kind enough to go over the two questions I got wrong (nurse nerd-I know) I've already recommended paul's class to my other nurse colleagues for recertification and I'll be back next month to get my ALS. I have been going to the Queens location for my ACLS/PALS for the past few years. First and foremost - Mike Russo is by far the best instructor I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and quite funny. He makes this intimidating, anxiety producing day much easier for me. I have never retained the information prior to CPR123 as I do when I leave their classes. Rooms are clean, equipment is state of the art, staff super friendly. Easy process from registering online straight through to end of class. Queens location even has a kitchen area/break room so bring your own lunch. Parking garages in short walking distance - I paid only $6 for the day! I highly recommend CPR 123 - and Mike Russo as your instructor. read more

I have never taken BLS or ACLS outside of the course my school and subsequently my work place offered. This was such a great way to learn the material and then do a skills test. I chose to do the ACLS and BLS portions of the class online and then go in for the skills testing. The ACLS simulations were challenging but really prepared me for the skills portion. Stacy was my teacher and she could not have been nicer! She was very knowledgeable and made the always-stressful mega code enjoyable. Their "iv certification" course is a joke , waste of money . I took it a few years back and it taught me nothing , the instructor was rude and disrespectful . My advice is don't waste your money on this , all those things you learn at a hospital orientation and that piece of printed paper they give you isn't worth the amount spent on the course. It's misleading to say iv certification since you aren't being certified in anything , rephrase your advertising . read more

I had the ACLS course today at Forest Hills with Tommy the instructor and he was great. He was so experienced and knowledgeable with his material that I really felt I was learning from a top notch instructor. He made the class fun and the day went quickly. Ekg rhythms, codes, defribillators are very intimidating but I left there feeling a whole lot more confident than when I walked in thanks to Tommy.
