Yesterday (11/02/2018) I went in to take the Adult CPR/AED course. Usuf is a great instructor. I…read morearrived early and he began class early. It was just me and him but it went smoothly and quickly. He turned on the video for me to see the movements I would have to demonstrate. He maintained a running dialogue and kept information grounded to real world, every day life use. He assisted in my stance and even ran through a practice scenario in which we played it like it may happen in the future. At the end, I had the option to do additional modules for children and infants, etc. but I declined. This class is not expensive at all - especially when you factor in that he's teaching you life saving techniques. I opted to return again, this time with my family so we all can learn children and infant cpr as we have a preschooler in the house and now that I've vetted the place, I've confident that the experience and information being presented to us will be done the same way. He offers same day certification and will give you your card on the spot after class is over. I very highly recommend if you are looking to learn CPR and be taught the information in such a way that it's understandable and retainable, come here.

He followed the video accordingly and did step by step instructions on each procedure. I would swear he was a medical doctor with the amount of knowledge he had. I will be going back here for my future bls and Acls renewal course . Thank you again for making this experience enjoyable and educational. A must go to place for anyone !!!

Ernst and Reina are amazing ACLS instructors! Shortly after booking online through the AHA website,…read moreErnst called me to get a little bit of my background and what I wanted to get out of the course. He really goes out of his way to personalize the class to the student. This way he not only teaches you what you need to know, but he also highlights the most relevant parts for your position. They also checked in the day before my appointment just to confirm and give me more info. The actual class was interactive, fun, informative, and engaging. Ernst and Reina have a ton of experience and a wealth of medical knowledge. They make the class as enjoyable as possible. No long, boring videos from the 80s. They are professionals who work as medics for so many events around NYC and use examples and real life scenarios to help teach the principles and applications of CPR. Ernst also works in an emergency room so he has tons of experience in the field. I couldn't have chosen a better place to renew my BLS and become ACLS certified.

The pool is too cold to keep a toddler there for 40 min without then shivering a few min in. Too many kids a class. Day of last class: a few classes were cancelled because fecal matter was in the pool and they had to disinfect it. I was offered a refund for the 1 class that was rescheduled to a date I was unable to make. My 2 year old son learned nothing. There are too many kids in a class for just 1 instructor and it takes away from the purpose of this class. Disappointed in the results.

I was excited to try this place as they offer cheap swimming classes, so I signed up my 4 year old…read moreson. The main issue we had was that parents are only allowed to watch the first and last class, so we were very uncomfortable with the idea of leaving our child (a very beginner level swimmer) in a class with 7-8 student to one instructor. Although it's helpful for the kids who may get distracted if parents are right there. Another issue was that some of the kids have severe anxiety and are pretty much crying through the entire lesson. You can't really avoid this but it may not be a good idea if your kid is easily influenced by others around him/her. My son started crying after seeing the other kid cry and that pretty much ruined the lessons. I liked that they were understanding to our situation and let us get a refund after we tried the first class. The swimming pool is NOT a heated pool. The room with the pool is temperature controlled and humid but the pool itself is not heated. My son was freezing during his lesson and was visibly shivering the entire time. I think the programs offered by this place is best for those who already know how to swim but want to improve or practice more.
