For that reason I put off getting my 329 card for years, but I did what I had to do on my own to relieve my chronic pain and insomnia. Certain strains are better for different purposes but you don't know what you are getting when you buy from friends. Fast forward to present time and now my pain is quite acute and unbearable. Unfortunately, I can't take prescription or over the counter pain relievers because of another medical condition I have. Cannabis -- especially high CBD strains -- does the trick, so I knew it was time to apply for a card. Look, we've all dealt with the State of Hawaii for things, so I had to psych myself up for the red tape I was about to claw through, but I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. I looked into it and filled out the application online on Friday, made a telemedicine appointment with Abi at Pakaloha Care for Saturday. I'm not thinking too clearly due to the pain and she explained the entire process step-by-step, and helped me gather all of the needed documentation and fix some errors. The completed application was submitted to the State on Monday. Today is Tuesday and I was able to download an electronic version of my card. All I can say to that is Sweet Relief! I can't recommend Abi at Pakaloha Care enough, for walking me through all of the steps with kindness and compassion. She also leaves the door wide open for follow-up questions and adjustments to dosing. If you fear applying for a 329 card will be complicated, I assure you she will ease your mind. I've been leaving mostly negative reviews lately because customer service has deteriorated everywhere, and it is my pleasure to spread the Aloha that Abi extended to me. I thought I can handle that but everything I had listed cereal, fruits, almond milk, ramen, and milk tea all count as carbs- I'm in trouble. Guess what? Diet pepsi is okay. I signed up for an informational session for protein supplements at Kapiolani Medical Center in a few weeks. Then I was set up for next appointment with her, also a separate day to talk to a dietician, need to go take a blood test in two months before seeing her again. I've got my work cut out for me.
