This Flying J location always makes for an ok stop. It is not the best, but not bad. It is a…read moretypical flying J travel center with the usual convenience items. I have been here a few times and always friendly staff. This visit was for gas and a restroom break. We picked up some not so healthy junk food and drinks too and then back on the road. I use a fleet card at times for work and wanted to mention that if you do, those are prepay inside and not at the pumps. It's always an ordeal as you go in, leave your ID and card, then pump gas, and go back in, etc.

My first impression was walking through the Burger King area, which on a quick glance, looked fine. The rest room, however, was not so fine. The stall door lacked a latch and swung open quite freely. While there were soap and towels, etc., it didn't look clean at all, and there was graffiti on the stall walls. Returning to Burger King, it seemed nice enough, and the staff was friendly, but the soda machine (one of those new Pininfarina-designed machines) didn't want to stop dispensing, and things around the counter were a bit sticky. The food was okay, but I didn't try much. I want to give it four stars but the rest room really was a problem for me and the overall cleanliness didn't seem important to them. It's not completely inconsistent with Shell convenience stores that include a fast food place, but that's hardly praise.

Inside is very depressing from the vibes, lighting and the emotion the staff gave off There was no hot food, healthy options or fully stocked shelves. Prices are expensive as well as the Arby's inside it. Wouldn't recommend coming here at all

This time I had to wait for someone to finish their conversation, parked in front of the diesel pump for no good reason. That person eventually moved but kept talking even as he was moving the car very slowly. I admit that, before using diesel fuel, I didn't always notice which few pumps had diesel. In any case, the cards and the dispensing went okay, and the receipt wasn't there. It told me to see the cashier. I headed inside anyway to get a drink, and never did ask for the receipt. The drink area didn't seem so clean, but it was serviceable. It wasn't like the floor was covered in soda. The cashier was friendly but the other customers were not. Next time, I think I'll use the one on Memorial Drive.

Boss of mine tried to send a report in to speedway and we got told they didn't care and wouldn't do anything at all. Pretty much blamed us even tho we couldn't get it shut off. Today boss had a meeting with all employees. Said "in business respect is #1 money is #2 , for years we've recommended speedway but from this point forward if we see you filling a company truck at a speedway it's a firable offense and all speedway receipts will no longer be reimbursed" Sad but lucky there's a marathon across the street
