Goddess Effect Artistry immediately caught my interest and, after a quick email exchange with Tracy, we had a trial set up. She was so sweet and accommodating, going so far as to send me a list of things to do in her area since my fiance and I had to rent a car to get out to her. That level of personal service extended all throughout her work with us. On the day of the wedding, she got the hair and makeup of two mothers, two bridesmaids, and two brides done in no time flat. Everyone looked beautiful and, most importantly to me, looked like themselves! I hate when makeup overshadows someone's natural beauty but Tracy and her assistant did a great job of highlighting how gorgeous all of our ladies already are. They were kind, funny, and set everyone at ease. Only two of the six ladies present had ever had their makeup done professionally and all six were thrilled with the end results. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The morning of my wedding these hair and makeup artists showed up 2 hours later than the time I was promised, as they had booked another party before mine. They continued to lie and say they were close until they finally arrived 2 HOURS LATE. They arrived with a hair stylist, makeup artist, and two assistants. The assistants could only curl hair and because of the time crunch were actually giving hair styles to my bridesmaids, which were not to the same quality as the main hair stylist. I had to call a friend to come over and be "on deck" to finish makeup. After having an hour left and 5 more bridesmaids to go, I had my friend do eye makeup while the stylist did the face makeup. Needless to say, this was not how the morning of a wedding should go. I would never post anything like this without speaking to the business owner first, unfortunately Tracy was not willing to have a fair discussion and hung up on me in the end and even mentioned that I am "entitled" for expecting better service. read more

I absolutely Goddess Effect Artistry! They are the BEST! I had my hair and makeup done for my brother's wedding, for which I was a bridesmaid, and the end result was stunning!!! The makeup was done with an airbrush. It not only came out looking flawless (no lines, looked perfectly natural) but also was a very comfortable experience, like slight breeze. It didn't even feel like I was wearing any makeup at all, which I valued a lot because I never wear foundation in the first place. I must say I have been in more weddings than I have fingers, and have never liked my hair or make-up! Tracy did a fabulous job on my hair! I could not have been happier, I felt like a million bucks! Tracy and Deena are absolutely amazing and make an amazing team. I had a trial with both Tracy and Deena for hair and makeup and never questioned whether I'd use them or not. I showed Tracy pictures of what I wanted and then decided on a final. Tracy could see I wasn't 100% comfortable having my hair a certain way so she suggested leaving my hair down (which I did not want) BUT she couldn't have been more right! I added extensions (highly recommend and her suggestion) to make my hair fuller. I continued to send her ideas because I kept questioning myself but she knew just what to do! I left my hair down for the ceremony but partially pulled back, and before my reception she whipped up a new hair style so that I could keep it out of my face. I had so many compliments on the style change and the style of both themselves. She truly knows her stuff and I felt comfortable allowing her to make suggestions. Deena is also amazing! I don't wear a ton of makeup and like more natural looks and she nailed it! All of my bridesmaids did something like mine and were extremely happy with the results. The airbrushing was phenomenal and the look was exactly what I asked for. I also struggled with a lip color since I rarely wear lipstick, the day of I told her I still didn't know and she pulled a color out and BOOM loved it! This duo is very easy to work with and will NOT be offended if you don't like something that was done, they immediately work with you to find either a hairstyle or makeup pallet that makes you feel beyond amazing.
