She was very laid back and understanding when I was running late and still honored my appointment even though I arrived quite late (and sweaty ‍). Last October I booked a make up lesson for a best friend's birthday present. While we really enjoyed the lesson, and the fact that Amanda let me be a part of it, she never sent the make up recommendations and notes she promised. I attempted to email Amanda several times and even try to call the number provided. She still has not shared these recommendations and notes that are included in the make up lesson price. While almost all the reviews are positive here.. I guess I will have to be the first one to voice my displeasure. I went once to Amanda through a Groupon deal that she was offering. While I was pleased with the service and it was one of the few Brazilian waxes I have gotten that actually was pretty painless, I do have say that her REGULAR price without a Groupon is a bit excessive. I get that she uses a special type of wax and she has the task of going into our ladyparts and making it immaculate but with so many places now offering just as good of a service with more reasonable prices, coming here and paying $65 every 2 months just does not justify it. Price aside since it's a personal option whether someone wants to spend this much money if one is happy with the results and service...my biggest issue with this business is that she does not return phone calls. I had a question for a F/U appointment and her voicemail greeting pretty much just directs you to her website. Okay.. not all questions are able to be answered by navigating a website. I left her a voicemail to have her call me back.. A few days went by NADA.. so.. figuring that she is a one woman shop and is a busy person, I called AGAIN and left another message. This woman never called me back. Its poor business etiquette and I do not care how good you are at what you do, if you do not have the courtesy or time to return your customer's phone calls maybe it's time you hired an assistant. Amanda is a waxing Goddess. I luckily stumbled upon her services last year when she worked at a different studio. Since she's started her own business I refuse to go to anyone else! Her Brazilians are as painless as it gets - physically and mentally lol. While keeping a professional demeanor, she's still open and friendly, never awkward, and always lets you know what she is doing and why (plus she has you do these breathing exercises as she waxes and it helps with the pain immensely). Despite my super course hair and sensitive skin, Amanda has me in-and-out in 20-30 minutes feeling 100%. I have a background in pharmaceuticals so I'm beyond picky about hygiene and sanitation, but her shop never makes me raise an eyebrow. She cleanses the table in between uses and lays down a fresh paper for you, always wears latex gloves, and then uses a natural disinfectant oil on the area afterwards so I'm never worried about infections. Her after care tips are amazing too - very tailored to your body, straight forward and explanatory. Long story long, if you need a Brazilian, or wax of any kind but are nervous about it (tbh aren't we all?) give Amanda a shot! You will not regret it. read more

I just recently got the opportunity to get Microblading done by Amanda! The entire experience from start to finish was amazing! I used to always get sugaring done for brazillians, so I was prepared for that level of pain with the waxing. First off, how did I not know about hard wax before now?! Not only is it less painful than sugaring or soft wax (soft wax + strips is what lots of others use) - but Amanda is so fast and thorough. I can't believe how long I was able to go between waxings!
