I was so disappointed. I had fond memories of another Godfather's Pizza, so was glad to find a promotional coupon special and drove across town to visit this location. I wish I hadn't.
The counter person who served us was not very friendly and poorly trained. When I gave him our coupon, he spent at least a minute checking it off on a printed list. Then, when I ordered, he took it as "half off." Wrong. It was a $20. voucher. I ordered a numbered special, at $21.99, explaining again that the coupon was worth $20 and I owed him the excess. He tried to charge me over $7. I explained it AGAIN and he finally charged me the right amount. There was no apology, no sense that this level of service was sub par. He seemed a bit surly that I was challenging his ignorance.
In addition, both the website and the printed menus on the tables listed this special at $18.99. But the board at the front said $21.99....an extra $3. I understand that websites can be a bit out of date....but the one-page photocopied menus on the tables?!? Had I seen those menus before I ordered I would have insisted on the lower price.
When the pizza came, it was extremely greasy and pretty tasteless. There was very little sauce on the pizza, and few veggies to be found. It was loaded with very greasy sausage and lots of cheese. I couldn't pick up a slice without getting my fingers covered in grease. The crust was thin, soggy and generally unpleasant.
